A great experience!
We LOVED this excursion. Our driver Yeury was very knowledgeable about the island. The monkeys were so fun. Oscar and his partner (I can't remember his name) were very knowledgeable about the monkeys and made sure everyone had plenty of monkey interactions. The monkeys were friendly and so cute. We also saw the Del Oro chocolate factory and it was very informative. The chocolate was delicious (including the sample of hot chocolate and brownie they greeted us with) and their gift shop had a lot of souvenirs to choose from. The umbrella street was beautiful and the pink street was very interesting. We also went to a high point on the island to look down on the city and see the more affluent area. Overall, a great experience.

Fun day in the waterfalls
Great experience. Much cheaper than the same excursion through the cruise ship. Easy to locate the driver at the very end of the port shops (15 min walk to this taxi area from ship). Driver was very friendly. We were a family of 4 and had another family of 4 riding with us. Comfortable passenger van with good AC. Drive is about 35-40 minutes. Once there you keep everything in the van. We had a backpack with towels/change of clothes/money, etc. that we kept in the van till the end. The driver will give you a bottle of water which will be needed. The only thing you need is good water shoes. They rent them there for $3 a pair if needed. I would also recommend a waterproof holder with neck strap for cell phone to take pictures. They give you option for $55 to take pictures of your group while there. They give you a life vest and helmet. The initial hike is about 45 minutes--all up hill. They take short breaks along the way but it is a tough little hike and you'll be sweating along the way. This is where the bottle of water is helpful. Once at the top you start to swim/slide/jump down the waterfalls (you may need a little courage at times). Once you get to the last one it is about a 20 minute walk back to base came (all flat this time). We changed and then were driven back towards the ship where we stopped at a restaurant along the way. Small, buffet style, typical Dominican lunch which we all enjoyed. Then back to the boat. I did tip our waterfall guide $20 and our driver a $20. The total trip took about 4 hours.

A time was had!!
Our excursion was great from beginning to end. Transportation was on time for our pick up! Our tour guide was amazing and so kind! The pics taken by staff along the tour were just beautiful (a must buy well worth it)! My family of 5 enjoyed every moment! Book with them, you will not be disappointed.

Its was everything and More
Just wrapped up an unforgettable ATV excursion and WOW — what a ride! 🏍️💨 From the moment we started, the adrenaline kicked in. The trails were the perfect mix of rugged, scenic, and just challenging enough to keep things exciting. We cruised through dirt paths, splashed through muddy patches, and climbed some seriously fun hills — all with incredible views along the way. 🌄 The guides were super friendly and made sure everyone felt safe and confident, whether it was your first time or you’ve ridden before. Safety gear was provided, instructions were clear, and the whole experience felt well-organized. If you’re looking for an adventure that gets your heart racing and lets you explore the outdoors in a unique way, an ATV excursion is definitely worth it. I’d do this again in a heartbeat! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike!
