I accidentally booked Monkey House thinking I was booking Monkey Land, and as it turns out, it was the best mistake I made on our trip. In fact, another couple in our group had done the exact same thing. From the moment we were picked up, the experience was excellent. Our driver was wonderful, friendly, professional, and helped set the tone for a great visit. We spent well over an hour fully immersed with four different species of monkeys, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the animals. We learned a great deal about the monkeys, their behaviors, and their care. The monkeys themselves were amazing. Be prepared, because they are curious, playful, and will be all over you. That level of interaction made the experience feel truly unique and unforgettable. Initially, I was not thrilled about having to put away phones and cameras during the educational portion of the visit. However, as you sit and relax under the pergola, guests are allowed to bring out their devices and take their own photos. While the facility does offer professional photos for purchase, there is no pressure to buy them, and you still have opportunities to capture your own memories. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized. If you are an animal lover or simply looking for a unique experience, I highly recommend Monkey House. What started as a booking mistake ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.

I have done a few airport transfers and this was seamless. They were exactly where they said they would be at the airport and only took 5-10 minutes from the time we found them until were were in our van and in our way. Pickup was great too, they arrived within 5 minutes of the time and we got to the airport with plenty of time (2 hours beforehand was plenty of time). I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again!

My wife and I had a great experience touring Puerto Plata with Joseph Alvarez . He showed us the beautiful country side and the city driving us to city center, umbrella street, pink street and the beaches. It is always warm so the A/C and cold water bottles was a nice added touch. I loved that it was just us and we did not need to wait for others, so we could stay as long or as little as we wanted. We even had him take us to McDonalds to try the Yucca fries and Tres Leche McFlurry 😂 (we like to try the different items offered in other countries). He made the experience personal more than a standard tour. Highly recommend this tour of its tour first time and want to be with your Day 1’s.
