Park was good. Lots of different slides and activities for a wide range of people. Food and drinks were a reasonable price. A little pricey for the entrance hence the 4 stars but would do again and we have no regrets.

We visited El Dorado Water Park in Punta Cana with my wife and two teenagers (16 and 18), and we had a really great day out.
Right from the start, the logistics were seamless. There was excellent communication regarding both of our transfers, making the whole trip completely stress-free.
The park itself is incredibly well looked after and clean. The rides were fantastic and perfect for older kids. The absolute highlights for our family were the Hurracan and the Blue Cenote — a swim in a very cold river that features a large, thrilling jump right in the middle!
We were also really impressed by the food and drinks, which were a massive step up from what you normally expect at a theme park. They even had sushi and poke bowls, which were absolutely delicious.
Overall, a brilliant, well-run park. Highly recommended!

The park is nice over all, rides are amazing but the costumer service is terrible.
We were greeted very poorly, most workers seemed very annoyed when approached for anything or just to give simple explanations for the rides.

A reasonable experience, but there are many other problems, such as the lack of internet, many activities requiring life jackets even if you know how to swim, the wave pool only produces waves when it wants to, some products out of service, and the price being very high.

Overall a good day but limited transport options - it’s one ride there, and one ride back. So if you don’t want to spend 7 hours at the park, just use a taxi service which was only 5 dollars each way to Cap Cana resorts.
You cannot even bring water into the park let alone your own food! That’s pretty bad in my opinion. You shouldn’t be made to purchase water whilst in the park for 7 hours! It’s just a cash cow for the owners and leaves a bad taste for the customers, hence a 3 star review.
Really there are only 6 adult slides and a zip wire for rides, so do you really need to spend 7 hours here if using the parks own transportation included in the ticket?! Again, just seems like they want to keep you captive to purchase refreshments for the duration.
If you want to experience the wave pool on top of the rides, you can do this but after one round of waves for 10 minutes, and the lazy river which maybe takes 15 minutes for a circuit, that’s it for the day really. You don’t need to be here anymore as you’ve covered all the experiences.
It could have been much better if you didn’t feel imprisoned to spend on top of the £100 each for what is really a 3-4 hour day.
This may explain why the park is like a ghost town (no queuing whatsoever!) as it is overpriced for what you get.
Shame really as there’s much better value attractions to experience in Punta Cana.
The waterpark was not large compared to many of the waterparks you'd find in the U.S., but the park hand a combination of popular, commonly found rides along with some unique experiences. The park itself had a Maya theme to it and the queues to the rides had a unique "cave-like" architectural build versus the typical industrial, cattle-chute approach you see in a typical U.S. park. There were some kayak areas, both in a small lake area and a contained, constructed area with a lagoon feel. Also, the park was not heavily patronized, affording us the opportunity to ride everything multiple times.
Pretty well organized. Very fun park and water slides. Maybe a little too expensive for what it is. Maybe improve the packages to make it worth the price.
The Waterpark was absolutely amazing!! Great rides, well organized, low crowds and the facility was immaculate.
Our only challenge was that our local transportation provider that we were to call and coordinate travel with really couldn’t effectively speak, or understand English, so our transportation arrangements ended up never working out. (We finally gave up after she hung up and booked our own Car svc to get to/from the park).
Our Viator experience was great as usual, but they need to hold this transportation vendor to a higher standard.
I had an excellent time at El Dorado Water Park in Punta Cana. The park was clean, well-maintained, and offered a great variety of attractions for both relaxation and excitement. The slides were thrilling, the lazy river was perfect for unwinding, and there were plenty of areas to just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It can be a little confusion because most of the workers does not speak English,
Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience, and I would definitely recommend El Dorado Water Park to anyone visiting Punta Cana.
Impeccable, neat, pretty, excellent. My two kids and I had a blast , I am from Miami and I must say that this park is much better than Rapids at West Palm. It is a little expensive but for the service and experience is a must if your kids have never been to a water park.
I loved El Dorado! It has several slides, lazy river, “beach” area, lagoon, and lake- allows for canoeing. Lockers/ towels are available to rent for a price. Most transactions required cards just a head up- cash can be utilized though.
So we got there around 9 had a easy check in process, everything was great maybe outside of the food variety i think the only not really bad but i'd say inconvenient thing was not being able to be picked up before 5 because we finish everything around 2/3 and was hoping to stall the day out in the wave pool but got bored pretty quick and just chose to uber back instead of waiting
Well kept and clean awesome water park very unique. Food is ok they hit you up with 18% tax and 10% tip charge will still recommend

The water park itself was super fun and the slides felt super safe with the amount of lifeguards around but honestly the transportation was a little bit of a mess. We were told a time but the driver showed up like 30 minutes after so me and my partner were sitting in direct sunlight while others were still enjoying the park.

Clean? YES! Bathrooms were spotless and did not smell of urine. There was someone always inside cleaning. Slides were clean, floor was spotless everywhere.
Line? No! Barely waited more than 5 min for anything.
Safety? On point! There’s life guards EVERYWHERE. Even at the end of slides there were at least 2 gaurds.
Food? Affordable. I come from NY, so food is 2x the amount at water parks. This was reasonably priced and tasted great. 5$ for loaded fries? And a burger WITH fries was around 14$. Not bad at all, compared to other water parks.
Transportation: on time! Great seats, AC, and plugs for your phones to charge.
Overall, amazing park, worth the rides, worth the money. Oh! And staff was nice too, they’re pretty funny

Nice park, all the rides were great!!!
Buy the pictures, won’t regret it. Whenever you see the camera guy try to get your pictures taken. Pictures last forever and not too expensive.
The American Express perks were okay, you get a VIP wrist ban with exclusive parking and a cabana/hut which was great when you want to sit down and cool off, with this you also get a dedicated server to get your food from the restaurant which came in handy as the sun out there doesn’t play😂😂
Paying with Amex also gets you 10% off all food and beverage items.
The rides were great, the park was empty so we did them over and over. The step to get to the top are exhausting 😂😂

I enjoyed this park. However I feel like it’s over priced for the little bit of rides they have. Also they are very strict with peoples phones. I didn’t like that.

We had an amazing day at El Dorado Water Park. The place is absolutely beautiful and plenty of space and sunbeds. The slides are great fun and there was no lines. Food was also good. Pick up organised by the hotel was good and on time. Only discounted a star as you can't bring in your own water which I think is outrageous, especially when it is 4 dollars a bottle inside!
Overall though a brilliant day and I'd definitely recommend it to everyone.
I would strongly suggest not to get the transportation service for this excursion.the park opened at 10am. Our driver said we need to be ready at 8:40am we made stops to get other people, but still arrived at 9:12 so we had to wait for the park to open.I asked the driver what time he was coming back and he said 5pm. Tbh, the park is cool but it only has 8 slides. It’s not worth being there 7 hours at best, a person should be there 3. We wasted all day there just lounging to waste time and the food is not all that. All in all, I would come again but definitely on my own terms and not through a transportation service.

Pros -
- 4 decent rides.
- Spotless facilities and plenty of staff.
- Lots of choice of food and drinks and sunbeds and places to sit.
- Alcohol served if you fancy.
- Lockers for you to put your bits in (at a charge)
- Airconned vehicle and easy drive.
- Zipline included in admission and whilst small for some is a great addition to the park. I'm scared of heights and even I went on and really enjoyed it.
- Bamboorant did make and serve my Mom a mango slush which wasn't on the menu which was kind. Also loaded fries were good.
Cons -
- Ate at the Bamboorant restaurant and the food was naff (moderately to overpriced - had the chicken burger) and the lady who served us only spoke Dominican. And yes I understand I'm not in England but she could not even understand words for things like water. However they did give us some pico de gallo free of charge when asked.
- Complete lack of rides and some appear the same. The wave pool gave out very small waves. The mat slider and two large tunnel rides were by far the best. Aside from this we really struggled for rides.
- Had to wait an extra 10 minutes for a Spanish/Mexican family and 25 minutes on their return which was annoying as everyone else was there on time so I don't know why the driver didn't just leave them?
- Seems like they opened the park too early as there is still alot of works going on.
- Lazy river is as lazy as my bathtub.
Great water park with lots to do and lots of relaxing opportunities. Staff is friendly and very helpful, highly recommended.
My best friend and I had so much fun. The park isn’t complete yet but what was available was so much fun we didn’t want to leave. I can only imagine once it’s completed. Would definitely recommend!

We had a really great day at the water park and would highly recommend it to anyone. I won’t deny that it is quite expensive to get in but at least we didn’t have to queue on anything and this meant we got our money’s worth. I personally loved the lazy river, it was great fun going around as a family. I also like the beach area where the water changed from calm to waves. It was a good place relax and have fun at the same time. The kids (19,19,17 & 16) all loved the slides, especially the mat racer. It was good to have the option to go as a single rider or a double rider for the less confident members of my family. The food was pretty good to and really reasonable prices for a water park. We expected to be fleeced when it came to drinks and food, so were pleasantly surprised when waiter gave us the bill. The waiter service was brilliant and prompt and the lockers for the day, reasonably priced. A good day all in all.
