Overall good experience. Our tour guide was excellent had a lot of personality which made the tour even better. They did a good job of letting us know what to expect while ATVing. The only thing I didn’t care for was the hustling by the locals but that’s to be expected. I most definitely would do a tour with them again.

omg this was incredible! We drove a 4x4 with one seat, my friend backpacked the whole time. But driving through the mud to get where we needed to was so cool! We saw a whole bunch of horses and wildlife. Swimming in the cenote after being in the sun was so refreshing, too. I only give it a 4/5 because we were a little sketched out being the only English speakers there, but I spoke a little Spanish so it helped a little. But our tour guide was fantastic, would do again!!

Very fun! The guides were very fun and took good care of the group. A couple stops the peddles were a bit aggressive, but the guides warn you and keep a close eye out

I had an amazing time on this excursion! The safari-like bus made the trip extra memorable. The ATV tour was an absolute blast, and the added stops really enhanced the experience. The water cave visit was breathtaking, the coffee tasting was delicious, and the beach stop was the perfect way to relax. The friendly staff were also fantastic—they helped make sure we weren’t getting ripped off on souvenirs. Overall, it was a fun-filled adventure I won’t forget! Highly recommend!

The atv’s are falling apart. We had a TIRE COME completely off. We were not going fast or it would have been a very bad accident. Two of them had no brakes and one had only one brake. Help together with tape. People were super nice but very dangerous to use equipment.

I am really impressed with the good reviews on this trip. I hated from the start to the end.
The guide was rude and rushed me all the times to speed up (I never drove a RTV before).
Too much poverty around (yeah I know that it does exist, but had kids and people begging for money on the road all the time, really sad to see it, and I didn’t enjoy it).
Macau beach was extremely a disaster, garbage bags all around the beach, really disappointing to see how the city did not clean that place, mostly because it is a tourist place, the city should take care better.
In the end, I feel in the Mad Max movie, no fun, just sadness.

Bring Dom Rep Pesos or US dollars. Ask price of everything before you agree to pay for each item. Negotiate on every purchase.

This was a great adventure! Our tour guide Kitson did a great job showing us around and was very personable and funny. We made 3 stops using the ATVs to get around. The cenote was my favorite, very refreshing. A lot of souvenir shops in the entrance too. Second stop was also unique with locally made tastings of coffee, tea, hot chocolate (delicious) and mamajuana (also very delicious). Last stop was to Playa Macao, the water was brown so I opted not to go in but the food and drinks at the spot Kitson brought us to was yummy. **Bring cash or Dominican pesos to avoid 25% tax fees** There are also a lot of locals trying to sell you stuff so if you’d like to support you can, or politely decline if you’re not interested. Just bring cash as mentioned to avoid extra tax fees. Highly recommend for a half-day tour, lots of adventuring our morning flew by us!

We had a good time. The pictures were beautiful! Very safe, no one was injured. Did not provide goggles.

It’s not bad but not as much fun as you would expect. The complimentary shuttle is like an open safari truck which is not a pleasant drive. It took us 2 hours from the Hyatt Zilara with all the stops to pick up other customers at various hotels along the way. The swimming hole in the cave is boring. We were only there for 10 minutes thankfully. The chocolate/coffee house is also boring and expensive to buy anything which seems to be a common theme here in Punta Cana. Everything is overpriced. This excursion wasn’t overpriced but we spent more time traveling here than we did driving ATVs which was about 2.5 hours in total with 3 stops. The last was at Macao beach which is very nice in the winter but was full of seaweed during our trip in August so we were unable to go into the water. Everything considered, I would skip these ATV tours in the future.

Experience was great wish the guides would give a tutorial and explain more about how the dirt bikes work and not assume every one knows how to operate one but other than that it was fun
David_N, Jul 2025
Had potential to be fun but you basically only atv for a short time. I love ATVs and they are fun to ride but you don’t get an off road experience. The tour is basically:
Short drive
First stop - vendors try sell you junk
Short drive
Second stop - vendors try sell you junk
Short drive to beach
Wait at beach (vendors of course)
Then back
Like someone else said if you want the best coffee and chocolate experience go to Monkeyland - that I recommend!

This was a great experience to do on the DR. The staff was polite and friendly. I would recommend this experience.
Joseph_J, Jun 2025
The excursion was fun until one rider swerved in front of my partners vehicle causing her to crash, injure herself, then she had to continue the excursion in excruciating pain.

This 1/2 day adventure was really fun. We drove a 4 wheeler down dirt trails. It had rained the day before so be prepared to get dirty if that happens to you. The cave had cold water so we didn't jump in, but others did. Then we spent time at Playa Macao basking in the sun.
Tanzie_J, Jan 2025
Kitson and the crew was amazing. My husband had a blast riding the ATV. It rained on our day and it was even more exciting riding in the mud. Vendors are pushy but it’s understandable due to this country’s economy. So be mindful to help the locals. I would recommend and do it again. 10/10

Literal hour of dead time between drop off and start of tour. Very focused on selling photos an other up sell - designated beach had 18 USD drinks...
The ATV stopped mid drive and leader seemed annoyed that he had to assist.
LaurieAnne_N, Dec 2024
Well organized just should have maybe experienced and Non experienced riders we had to stop may times to makes sure non riders slowing us down
But it was a good experience
Brock_B, Dec 2024
Exactly as described. Friendly primary guide (El Gato). We went after several days of rain. Lots of water on the trails. Super fun going through deep water. Don't do this trip if you adverse to getting dirty. We had another family in our group that was going around all the puddles like they did not want to get dorty...seriously. That slowed down the entire group. Swimming at the cave was completely awesome. Could do without the coffee, coconut, cigar atop...really just a sales pitch. Photographer travels with your group and then you can opt to buy or not buy photos at the end. Only down side was mixed messages from assistant guides...one was constantly tell us to speed up and other was telling us to slow down. Would absolutely do this again.

This was very fun. We enjoyed the ride through the area seeing different parts of the countryside and the beach. The water was amazingly warm.
Jasmine_S, Dec 2024
The tour was okay. I really loved the ATV ride, going through the mud or whatever. PLEASE BE AWARE of the aggravation from the locals about buying from their shops(1st stop at the water cave). 2nd stop is at the beach...please be aware that there are people with tropical animal for you to take pictures with YOUR PHONE & charge you for take pictures with your phone. Also, their will be kids waiting to rise dirt off you just to beg for change of $$$ when you don't ask them for that service
Jenny_H, Dec 2024
The excursion itself was nice! We wished we had more time at the beach. Don't order food because it's pricey and you just don't have time. The pin̈a colada is delicious and worth a try. Make sure you pay cash at the beach. The taxes are 28% on american money if paying by card. Our tour guide was really nice and very cautious with safety. The reason I deducted 2 stars. One for the rush and the second because they tried it with us when it came to the photos. Be careful when paying for the photos because the photo guy said it wasn't the price my husband heard. However because we didn't give in, they left it alone at the end. Not a good feeling when on vacation. I would recommend this trip if you don't spend any money. Just enjoy everything included.
Lindsay_M, Dec 2024
What a fun half day trip! We all loved it—my adult kids said it was their favorite excursion ever! The guides were kind and fun. I never felt unsafe, but also got a little adrenaline rush on the ATV. Would definitely do again

tamia_s, Nov 2024
Hard to pinpoint. The whole excursion was amazing!! We had 20 people with us! It was amazing to see the cave. Taste the empanadas. See the townspeople. The scenery was amazing! We got rained on but it made the excursion that much better! Wet and wild! Shout out to El Gato!! It's all love!
Amari_S, Nov 2024
