El Dorado Water Park
I had an excellent time at El Dorado Water Park in Punta Cana. The park was clean, well-maintained, and offered a great variety of attractions for both relaxation and excitement. The slides were thrilling, the lazy river was perfect for unwinding, and there were plenty of areas to just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It can be a little confusion because most of the workers does not speak English,
Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience, and I would definitely recommend El Dorado Water Park to anyone visiting Punta Cana.

Experience of a lifetime - not even kidding!!
Aribel was an amazing point guy for the excursion. Very nice and talkative to the whole family - even the kids. From the time we arrived at the damajaguas (waterfalls) were treated like royalty. We purchased the photo package which was worth every penny. The tour guides were some of the most amazing humans. This was an experience of a lifetime that my family will never forget. We already want to go back. The falls were so beautiful they looked like something straight out of a movie. Oh, and make sure you listen to the tour guides when they tell you how to slide and jump down the falls. I didn’t hold my elbows exactly the way they showed and I banged/scraped my elbow against the rock. Not a good feeling. I am still recovering from my “Dominican tattoo” lol. Still didn’t takeaway from the experience. Our personal photographer on the excursion Olivier was hilarious and just an all around great guy. He made the experience the best it could have been. Afterwards, we went to a second location for the local lunch - a complete hole in the wall but in the most endearing way possible. The food was out of this world. I can’t get over how amazing the fried chicken and the rice and beans were. The flavors are just the stuff foodie dreams are made of. Make sure to bring cash to tip the driver and tour guides. Would 100% recommend as long as you can handle a 30+ minute hike uphill and back.

Great experience!
Picked up right outside of the port and had a great time. Got a little history and information on the way there and felt very taken care of through the process of checking in and getting started.
We do wish there were more jumps and slides but it was a lot of fun!
Lunch was so delicious!

Monkeyland in Puerto Plata, D.R.
Visiting Monkeyland in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic was one of the absolute highlights of our trip! It’s such a unique, interactive experience—especially if you love animals. The squirrel monkeys are incredibly friendly and will climb right onto your shoulders, arms, and even your head if you let them! It felt surreal having them gently take food right out of our hands. The staff was knowledgeable and guided us the entire time, making sure both the guests and the monkeys were safe and comfortable.

Lots of walking
Our guide was amazing and we enjoyed every minute - until we have to walk to the lagoon. He said that he thought it was 200 meters. Actually, based on my Apple Watch it was close to a mile each way. My husband really struggled, even with his cane. We stayed at the first, smaller lagoon because we could not walk that far and all the way back. I strongly suggest they / you measure this exactly and make it part the the description- we would have picked a different adventure.

Super Buggy at Taino Bay
DR Prime Tours - guides were fantastic and it was a fun day. They did try to get you to buy some coffee or mamajuana juice - but not pushy. You definitely will get muddy - wear black. We got off the ship at 10:30, met the guide at 11:30 and back on the boat before 3pm ( Virgin departs at 5:30pm). Very fun day

Great team on the ground....
Great team on the ground. The tour was so much better than the cruise offered. Transferred via a private van to the Falls. No sitting around waiting for busses. We had a fast pass ahead of all the cruise company tour people. We were truly treated like VIPs. We made it back to port with no stress and time for a few beers before sailing. Edwin Tours is top notch. No more cruise company tours for us. This is the way to go!!!

Amazing Experience
The Punta Cana ATV tour was easily one of the most exciting parts of my trip and a perfect break from the beach. The experience started with convenient hotel pick-up and a smooth check-in process at the ranch. After signing waivers, we received helmets and goggles and were given a thorough safety briefing that made even first-time riders feel comfortable. Once we hit the trail, the adventure really kicked in. We rode through lush jungle paths, open farmland, small villages, and muddy trails, even splashing through shallow water at certain points. The terrain constantly changed, which kept the ride thrilling and engaging, with stretches where you could pick up speed balanced by slower sections to navigate rougher ground safely.
What made the tour stand out was that it wasn’t just about the adrenaline. We stopped at scenic spots for photos and had a chance to experience a bit of local culture, including sampling fresh sugar cane and learning about the area from our guides. The staff was friendly, organized, and kept the energy high while ensuring everyone stayed safe. The full experience lasted about 2–3 hours, with roughly 90 minutes of riding, which felt like the perfect amount of time. Be prepared to get a little muddy and wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Overall, the Punta Cana ATV tour offers a fun mix of adventure, scenery, and cultural immersion, and I would confidently rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars for being both thrilling and memorable.

A great experience!
Our experience was an A+! Our guide, Jorge , was phenomenal as were his very attentive assistants. The boat wasn’t overcrowded and the music , drink and food was better than expected. The snorkeling was fantastic and the 2 stops coconut drinks and sand bar were icing on the cake . Definitely a must do for anyone visiting Punta Cana!

Our group of 4 enjoyed...
Our group of 4 enjoyed this excursion. Both Jeffrey, our driver, and Suzie, our guide, were lovely. Our group was small (18) so we were able to transfer to a smaller bus making it more intimate. Suzie was a wealth of information and spoke fluent English. She had a great sense of humor and you can tell she really loves her job. I wouldn't hesitate to do another tour with her. There were plenty of restroom stops, the lunch provided was very good, and the bus was comfortable.

We had a great time...
We had a great time traveling with panda. He made sure our trip was safe and awesome. Also, we stop at some awesome spots to experience the Dominican culture.
P.S. be aware of the vultures along the way offering things to buy simply tell them no gracious if not interested

Catalina Island Catamaran Experience
Our trip to Catalina was so fun! We went on this excursion while on honeymoon and enjoyed every minute. The snorkel spots were awesome - had a lot of colorful fish and starfish. Definitely the best snorkeling I’ve done in the Caribbean. Our tour guide was very sweet and the service was great. They gave us sandwiches for snacks and a buffet of pasta, chicken, beef, salad and fresh fruit for lunch. They also offer sprite and coke rum cocktails with fresh lime - simple but delicious. We also appreciated having a small group for our tour. We’ve done tours with large amounts of people before and it’s just not the same. Having a smaller group definitely makes it easier to see everything and spread out and enjoy the boat. If I ever go back, I would definitely go on this excursion again!!
