This was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences of our trip! My daughter is an experienced horseback rider, and she said this was one of the most enjoyable rides she has ever had. She was so impressed by how much the owners trusted her and allowed her to demonstrate her riding skills. She absolutely loved galloping along the beach, riding through the water, and exploring the beautiful jungle trails. The scenery was breathtaking, and the photos turned out absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, everything was perfect. The owners picked us up in a comfortable vehicle, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, and made us feel safe and well cared for throughout the entire experience. Their genuine hospitality made the day even more special. My daughter said she never expected to have such an incredible adventure, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. Every minute was unforgettable. If I could give this tour 10 out of 10 stars, I absolutely would! We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Punta Cana, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider. Thank you for creating memories we’ll cherish forever!

Carlos and Fernando were our guides. They were beyond fantastic. They were professional, personable, kind, and knowledgeable. My husband and I were the only 2 who booked this trip on Viator on this cruise. Seriously?! We literally spent HALF of what the cruise ship charged and had such personalized, top-notch service it was unbelievable. We were on the excursion WITH passengers from our ship but they paid 2x as much for the exact, same experience. If you worry about booking outside the cruise line, stop worrying. It's these people's job to give you a fantastic experience when you book with them. Could you imagine if they didn't get you back to your ship on time? They would never stay in business. The waterfalls were fantastic. It was shaded, stunningly beautiful, and quite the adventure. Definitely not an excursion for those who can't climb stairs or hike up a hill, but for those who can handle it, this is an excursion not to be missed.

This excursion was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The meeting point is a bit remote if you’re not in the designated pickup zone (we were staying in Sosúa), but it ended up being manageable. Our taxi driver found it by asking some locals, and the staff even helped arrange a ride back for us afterward, which was super helpful. The horseback ride starts with about 15 minutes through a lightly wooded area on a very clear, easy-to-follow path. Then you open up onto the beach—and that’s where it really becomes something special. The scenery was stunning. It genuinely felt like being in a movie. There’s a stop along the beach where you can grab food or drinks. My friends and I opted for drinks and got to hang out, take in the views, and even go into the water with the horses, which was such a cool experience. One of the best parts was the photographer (Lolo) who comes along for the entire ride. You do have to pay extra for the photos, but they came out amazing and were 100% worth it in my opinion. The crew was incredible—so attentive and thoughtful, especially when it came to people’s comfort levels. I had no horseback riding experience and was a little nervous, but they paired me with a very calm, well-trained horse that knew exactly what to do. Honestly, I barely had to guide it—it knew where to go, when to stop, and even how to pose for photos. It made the whole experience feel really safe and enjoyable. One thing to note: we went in March, which is part of the rainy season, so there were some muddy patches along the trail. It actually added to the fun, but just be prepared—you’ll probably get a little dirty by the end. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It’s beautiful, beginner-friendly, and just such a fun, memorable experience—even if you’re a little nervous like we were.
