I absolutely recommend this VIP experience for anyone wanting adventure! All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable and safety-oriented. I was the only horseback rider and am experienced, so we were able to canter and lope! The experience didn’t feel rushed at all and I didn’t want to leave!

We scheduled the VIP pass with ATV, lunch, zip line, horseback riding. The time to arrive for activities was 7am. Tour bus arrived 815. We arrived at location and we did the ATV first, we got back no direction on what was next. No assigned tour guide to ensure you went from activity to activity. We asked about doing the other activities we were rushed to do the zip line before we needed to leave and get back to the boat. Of coarse, the zip line is when we started to get food so we had to kiss eating to zip line. The atv and zip line was fun however, very unorganized and no direction from staff. We asked if we could do lunch and horseback riding next week since we would be back and the guy said he would message me via viator. No message received. I feel like that was a stall tactic to not refund us our money.

Your ship was scheduled to arrive at 7:00AM. As you may recall and verify the instructions, bus departure is 45 minutes after the ship's scheduled arrival. It appears the ship arrived slightly early, and let passengers disembark earlier, however, we have to wait at least until 7:45AM for all passengers. You cannot expect the bus to depart before departure time. You arrived at around 7:05AM and were greeted by one of our tour guides. You were then escorted to the parking lot and seated in one of our buses. Due to a delay caused by the cruise ship inside, since they had to close the gate due to an arrival for another cruise, all bus departures were delayed, ours for 30 minutes unfortunately. The bus did NOT arrive at 8:15AM as you stated. You were seated on the bus well before that time and the bus left at 8:15AM with all participants. At our ranch you completed two activities, which were ATV's and Zip Lines. You returned to the restaurant area at 12:20PM. At that point your next activity was Horseback Riding, followed by lunch. The lunch buffet opens between 11:00-11:30AM, not "When you go to zip line". We host multiple groups daily with different tour combinations. The buffet remains open and is continuously refilled, and guests eat according to their tour flow, including those who eat later after completing activities. There is no "missing lunch" because of the zip line timing. You stated that you did not want to do horseback riding or lunch because you believed you did not have enough time. Our staff explained that you had sufficient time remaining to complete the horseback riding and lunch. You declined and remained seated for approximately 20 minutes, which could have been used to begin the horse preparation and start the ride. When you asked about completing horseback riding and lunch on a later date, we confirmed we were open to coordinating that. You were advised to message us through Viator, and you were also provided a business card so you could contact us directly. You requested a full refund for the entire tour, even though two activities were completed and the remaining portion was declined by your decision. You arrived back at the port at approx. 1:10PM. All guests are guaranteed to be back at the port at least 1 hour prior ship departure, and you would have been back on time even if you had completed your activities. For fairness, you have been refunded for the horseback riding and lunch portion that you chose not to take.

Our VIP Day Pass experience with Country World Adventure was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, the team was professional, friendly, and completely on point. They were ready for us right on time and took us on a short, scenic ride to their adventure site. Upon arrival, we were given a clear and engaging briefing on all the activities. The team made sure each part of the experience — from zip lining to ATV rides to horseback riding — was handled with care, enthusiasm, and safety in mind. There were plenty of trained guides and support staff to assist and encourage everyone, making the day exciting and enjoyable for all age groups. A big bonus was the dedicated photographer who tagged along throughout, capturing amazing action shots so we could fully live the moment instead of worrying about taking pictures — a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. And then came the delicious lunch — the standout being the unforgettable yuca fries! We loved them so much we asked the staff to make another batch just for our family — and they gladly did! From the two gentlemen that picked us up at our Airbnb, to ALL the staff at the facility, everyone was very helpful, friendly and polite. Everyone made us feel very welcome and made sure we were comfortable. If I return to the area on a cruise, I will look for this activity/excursions again. I want to thank all the staff for accommodating my family and I, we had an amazing time. To many people to thank, and way to many names to remember. Highly recommended 👌.

The entire experience was excellent. Our guides were great, the food was authentic, the zip lines and ATV were excellent. The horses could use some grooming and training. It was difficult to enjoy the ride because there were so many stones about the horses had to traverse. We were disappointed that the pictures that they took during our excursion were so expensive. $80.

They are well-trained and familiar with the route. The trail includes a ride through fertile farmland and local areas, with a riverbed crossing, which is the only place where some natural river rocks are present. Fortunately, our horses are experienced and step carefully through this section. Also, the horses follow one another. Guests can actually sit back and enjoy the ride without doing much, which is why even inexperienced riders can participate on the experience. As for the photo service, we understand your concern. While the $80 photo package may seem high at first glance, it actually covers three activities (Zip Lining, Horseback Riding, and ATV riding), which is a great value compared to many destinations where similar pricing applies to a single activity. Please note that the photo service is completely optional and operated by an independent company, but we’ll definitely share your feedback with them. Poor time management but great ATV/Zip-line tour

Great time doing the zip-line and the ATV tour, however we paid a 4 tour experience and were never given the chance to do the pool zip-line and the horseback riding was rushed to only 5 minutes. Poor time management on the tour given even after we mentioned the time several multiple times.

Dear Luis Lopez, Thanks for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced during this tour. You joined us for this adventure on July 15, arriving with the Adventures of the Seas Cruise at Taino Bay at 9:00AM, leaving at 5:00PM again. You purchased this excursion for you, your wife and 2 young daughters on July 2nd and upon booking confirmation you received a confirmation email with meeting instructions, which clearly state the bus departure time. You emailed us since you had some doubts about the starting times, and we once again confirmed bus departure for 45 minutes after ship arrival. You and your family showed up 25 minutes late (10:10AM) to the meeting point. We took you to the bus, which was then finally able to depart at 10:23AM. Upon arrival at our ranch, we got you ready as soon as possible and started with Zip Lines, which took you 1 hour 20 minutes. Since it was already later than expected due to the late departure from the port, we took you ATVing immediately, which took you and your family 1 hour 45 minutes. When you arrived back at the restaurant at 2:55PM, we approached you and explained that due to time we won’t be able to continue and offered you a refund for the remaining activity, which you refused by saying that you did not want to look bad in front of your 2 young daughters and if we could at least give you a 5 minute ride, even if it would be inside the ranch. We agreed to your request. When you arrived back, the bus was waiting for you to depart back to the port. We understand the importance of managing timing, but please understand that it does only work with full cooperation of our guests, including showing up on time. We did never rush you through any of the activities and I think it’s unfair that you leave us a 2-star review, when we offered you a compensation, which you refused and requested an alternative. This was. A great experience! We were well taken care of and we had so much fun. Great food, great activities, and great employees! My only complaint is that we wore the wrong shoes for horseback riding and my wife got a blister. We had to go get some bandaids afterwards. Maybe it should be communicated the dress code for the day so we can be comfortable. Other than that, it was perfect!

This was by far the best excursion I have ever done. Daniel and his team were extremely professional, courteous and just fun to be around. Me and my family spoke to Daniel before arriving about their Xdream package which I highly recommend everyone does. This adds an additional 2 hours to your tour where the guides will also take you to the 27 Water Falls. Booking this seperate would have added another full day of excursion and at almost 3x the cost of the additional fee Daniel charges. Not to mention the experience was unforgettable. But be prepared to walk and bring your own pair of close toed water shoes (crocks will do) The actual experience at Country World was amazing. You get to experience just enough of everything you might want to experience in puerta plata. Zip lining brought you up to heights nowhere else available giving you incredible views and a really fun experience while at it. ATVs brought you through a small country town allowing you to interact with locals and truly embrace day to day life for some in the region. Horseback riding was a fun relaxing end to it all. Overall couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If possible ask for Mackenzie to be your photographer he was with us the entire day and he added so much to the experience

this experience was AMAZING !!! Daniel had been working with me and answering my questions months before our excursions. we had a party of 15 with age ranges from 19 months to 70 years old. we even had 1 who had a mobility disability. Daniel accommodated us all. we were on Carnival Cruise ship, so Daniels team picked us up and dropped us from our cruise port. ATVS, Ziplining, Swimming in the Pool and Horseback riding was amazing. They even prepared lunch which was TERRIFIC! Raphael, David, and Eric were our specific excursion guides. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM !

Horse riding injury

The saddle was not properly connected an I fell off the horse. Also I was not allowed to zip line because of a weight limit an the adventure was suppose to take six hours an was closer to 8 which cause me to miss my Covid testing

Dear Phalyn, Thanks for sharing your review. When booking an adventure with us on any online platform (in your case Viator), you are provided with important information of what to be aware before booking with us. One of the first things you see on ANY of Viator’s activity offers, is the activity duration which in your case clearly states “6-8 hours approx.” After that there is an overview of the activity, inclusions, exclusions, pick up information, additional information, etc.. You get informed about weight restrictions even before booking the activity, which is 260lbs for Zip Lines and Horseback Riding and 350lbs for the ATV’s. You still booked this tour disregarding this information. On the day of your excursion (April 7th), you signed a waiver during the transfer to our park. Again you disregarded the information about the weight limit and other restrictions. You even did check “NO” on the field asking if you have to inform the guide regarding any health matters, including overweight. However, your actual weight was far over 300lb. I (Daniel) have greeted you and the rest of the group myself and explained about the itinerary. Your first activity was the ATV tour, which you said you really enjoyed. Arriving back at our ranch the guides took you for the Horseback Riding. After providing you with riding instructions, everybody was mounted on their horse and all saddles were tightened again, as always. The tour began through the countryside. Even being instructed not to gallop, you tried to go faster to reach the front of the group. Being physically not in the best shape, with your body weight you could see that it was quiet a challenge to hold balance on the saddle. Leaning a little to much to the side caused you to fall over. You had a minor, barely visible scratch on your right arm. I have disinfected the area as precaution and you told me you where doing well. However, if all instructions would have been followed by you, this could have been avoided. After enjoying a home-cooked meal at the restaurant, I kindly explained you that due to your overweight you where not able to join the Zip Lines. You and your wife asked if you could get a refund for that. We agreed, explaining that all payments are being handled by Viator, and that we would contact them to proceed with a partial refund. The Horseback Riding & ATV package has a price of US$125. You should receive the balance of US$35 and a confirmation email from Viator shortly. Your wife still wanted to go to the Zip Lines and you asked our guide “Benny” if there is an option you could go and watch her. He offered you to bring you to the Zip Line #6 on a Horse (which was happily accepted by you). I saw you passing by the garden, where I was attending other customers. You actually looked very happy on the horse again, saluted me and the other guests, and you even laughed. After coming back Benny told me that you and your wife wanted to leave earlier due to COVID testing, which was never mentioned by you before. After your wife skipped the last 2 Ziplines, the other 3 guests from your group finished the Ziplines and your transfer back to the resort started 15 to 20 minutes after your request. I don’t think that it is our fault if you missed your Covid testing. You should have advised us latest at pick up in the morning and not when you think it is time for you to leave. You should not blame us when you are disregarding or not reading a tour description, not meeting certain requirements or following instructions. Receiving a 1 star rating for a customers mistakes is quite frustrating . We would highly appreciate if you could overthink your review. All the best, Daniel

We enjoyed this excursion. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Everyone was great but Julio was awesome. Lunch was one of the best meals we had during the trip. Only thing to be prepared for are the hikes in between zips. We were not but staff worked with us.
