Exploring Punta Cana’s backroads on your own is difficult without local knowledge. If I had to do this all over again I would. This was our last excursion for the duration of our trip. I really enjoyed myself and so did my cousins. Punta Cana is just so beautiful and it was a pleasure to be able to all types of excursions on the beautiful island. Make sure you buy a mask out of the shop (those were better) I brung my own sunglasses and scarf and that didn’t help at all. My scarf was full of mud and mud juice got in my mouth from the mud puddles. 🤣 You will definitely enjoy this excursion. Mud and dirt will be everywhere, literally. Staff was very friendly and funny.

Gene the tour guide is wonderful, pleasant and friendly. The drive to the excursion was beyond horrible. The driver hit every pot hole. The dirt road was full of rocks which made the ride uncomfortable. Purchase goggles and face covering prior to arriving. You’ll be covered in dust during the ride. The photographer take pictures of everyone expecting you to purchase them. The dune buggies are old and a few broke down. It was nice having dune buggies that could accommodate families. Would I do this excursion again, no.

This experience was amazing! All the guys were friendly and helpful. The tour itself and the buggy ride is fantastic. We had so much fun. Get ready to go over all the puddles of water 😅 That's the beauty of it. My family and I had a lot of fun. I totally recommend it. All the stops and the dominican coffee were amazing!

Please do not book. They take a bunch of pictures during the whole excursion and then they have you pay for pictures that they say they will send you later and then they never send you the pictures. Then when you try to call or message them about the pictures you bought, the phone number doesn’t work and they don’t respond to your messages. Plus, they have know safety protocols when driving these buggies, they will have a person that is supposed to tail the bag of the group drive on the side and directly in front of you that can cause a collision or create a big dusting that makes it hard to see the road to drive. Not worth it. Save your money and book something else.

The experience was everything that was advertised. There hasn't been rain for weeks so it was more of a dust ride instead of mud, but it was still fun!
Be sure to bring sunglasses and a bandanna for your mouth/nose or you will be sorry. Fortunately they sell them for $5 each.
My three children had so much fun. Just so people are aware,the cave has alot of steep steps with VERY rocky terrain (its a cave) so be sure to wear appropriate shoes. The guides were very helpful with assisting us with our children since we have three and only two sets of hands.
I cannot stress how great the tour guides were! Simply fantastic. The paparazzi (tour photographer) took some excellent shots. No high pressure sales tactics. Bathrooms were clean, although there was no soap. Luckily I have children and came prepared.
Overall great experience. Would recommend this company for this kind of tour.

We went on this adventure with our daughter and granddaughter was their first time while we have been twice previously with other operators and we actually felt the whole experience this time as both previous times there has been very little mud and this time there was a lot. The coffee and cave experience was enjoyable and although this adventure did not include the beach experience it was overall a better adventure then in the past. We would not hesitate to recommend this adventure.

This was a smaller group tour away from the crowds of the usual buggy tours. We enjoyed the countryside, visiting a small village and traditional home with coffee, and beautiful caves. Me and my youngest appreciated being in an atv with comfy seats and less mud when they didn’t have a buggy available but my teen did wish he had the true buggy experience with all the mud.

The dune buggy trip was pretty darn good. I am happy I did the research to find this trip that offered the visit to the cave. I really wanted to explore a cave as that is something over my numerous travels across the world that has been a somewhat rare option.
There was no other currently active shorter duration trips to caves in the punta cana area (other than possible self guided with rental car).
My son really enjoyed the dune buggy aspect and I had fun driving them. Our group only had 1 buggy break down during the drive which was brief. I believe only 1 buggy having a quick issue that was resolved is pretty damn good based on reviews of other options.
I would have liked the option to go a little faster for longer stretches myself, but I was a bit limited by the driver in front of me being a bit timid and overly cautious on bumpy sections.
I was at the back of the pack and I opted to let the person in front of me gain some decent distance before I proceeded which let me take the course a bit faster. I did feel pressurd a bit on occasion by the staff vehicle tailing the group to move forward instead of waiting so I could take a stretch faster but it wasn't too bad.
The only complaint from my group was the occasional stop for tour provided pictures to be taken. We did not care for that and based on what I read from numerous other different tour reviews, when tour company pictures were taken and offered for purchase the price is a bit ridiculous. We did not inquire to the price of the pictures so I cannot comment on if they were overpriced on this trip. For us it was just an occasional holdup.
The transportation from our hotel to the dune buggy location was an open air truck with benches. Which I imagine is utilized incase you end up super muddy. We did not get muddy but just very dusty, possibly because of lack of rain ahead of our date?
A buff or bandana would be advised for face covering (for dust in our experience). I brought my own buff but purchased bandana for my family ($5 usd each for cheapest). I bought sunglasses from the tour company ($5 for cheapest) to preserve / avoid damage to my nice personal sunglasses. Given the current dry course conditions I could have probably utilized my own sunglasses without damage.
If sitting in the backseat maybe earplugs would be advisable as the noise for our person in the back was a bit loud. As the driver with less sensitive hearing than the person I had in the back i was ok.
Overall the trip was pretty fun and enjoyable. I'm happy I went with this company for my first dune buggy experience, mainly for the cave experience vs the extremely more common punta cana dune buggy options which seem to be a much simpler "mass produced" experience from my research.
The flinstones decorated part of the cave was enjoyable for my son, for myself I might have enjoyed a staged decoration that was maybe more authentic to dominican history/culture. Even if not authentic, a staged display in the style of ancient dominican peoples lives might have been more interesting to me as an adult.
I recommend this trip if you are doing dune buggy I'm punta cana!

Buggy ride was fun. Wish it was longer. Big cave you get to explore, lots of walking in the cave. I had a bad foot at the time so that was rough but it was a fun, muddy experience. Make sure to bring a mask and sunglasses/Googles. And possibly bug spray

We have done a different buggy tour a few years back in Punta Cana but this specific tour exceeded our expectations. It is a more intimate group, you are not rushed for one location to another and the buggies themselves are far superior to the ones on the larger tours. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy time together just be prepared to get muddy.

This was a cool experience. The buggy ride is very bumpy and rough. Hurts your butt. Lol. You will get dirty. I loved seeing the country side and being the local home. Her home was so old fashioned but so lovely and clean. I loved her home. Got to see cows and goats while driving the buggy. The cave experience was also cool. They have great photographer who takes pics while you’re out on the excursion.
