I booked with transportation at the last minute I was advised I must pay separately for transportation $150 USD cash in person. Samuel was quick with on how to pay but slow with details. I was never provided transportation details. I thought I had to get my own transportation the day of due to no communication. When I reached out to say I booked my own I was advised he was on the way. A $150 per person photo package was offered it was my birthday so I thought its high but yolo. I created a PayPal to pay I paid while on the way. Samuel requested it be sent via friends and family so he could avoid fees. I obliged BIG MISTAKE. It was raining when we arrived. Bc it was raining we declined to ride the horses and asked to just be taken back to the hotel. I asked Samuel not to accept the pal funds, reject and send back. He said sure then accepted them. This was March 16 2026. As of April 4 2026 I have not received the $300 really $314 USD back. BEWARE.

You booked from Bayahibe La Romana Tha is hour 30 mins from us so transportation was not Included at that location so you agree to pay the transportation an booked the professional photos section when you arrived it was raining but we told you that the rain was gonna stop but you refuse an wanted to cancel the tour sorry you didn't wait like we advised you rain stopped like half an hour later after you left an we sent you the videos of travelers doing the tour that was here when you arrived your need 24 hours ahead to cancel the booking for a full refund

The plantation was nice - handmade items to purchase and see
The ride itself was long and fun
We had zero experience and managed well
Took us to the beach, took some nice photos - saw a beautiful sunset.

Miguel and friends made the experience one to remember! Miguel took us through a nature route onto the beach. On the return Miguel showed/told us what to do to make the horse move fast! Highly recommend.

This has to be the worst experience i have had.
Not only are you taken to some back street where horses are kept then you ride through a back track which is not child safe at all.
We did not see the sun set.
Then they try an sell you pictures they stated 40 pics we were lucky we got 15.
A total waste of money an my time

Our group really enjoyed this tour. The horses were very well behaved and knew exactly where to go. Our guide was very friendly and offered to stop multiple times for photos or just to give us more time on the beach. Highly recommend!

They were very nice excellent service only complaint would be to spend more time on the beach. When we finally got to the beach we only spent about 15 minutes there. Didn’t really see the Sunset either. But very professional people and good service.

This team was very professional. There was some confusion during pickup (no fault of theirs). The hotel (Royalton Chic) wouldn’t allow them enter so we had to walk to the gate. Ariel, our driver was patient and had a great attitude about it all. Once we got there, my wife and I were the only riders. We were treated like vips. Everyone was friendly. The pictures they took of us were amazing.

I’ll keep it short. It’s not at sunset. The horses are underweight and malnourished almost sickly looking. The guides speak no English. You ride to the beach over rocks that horses should not be ridden over and trip every so often. Once on the beach a guy takes your picture with the horse. He then asks for $150.00 US to sell you the pictures he took. Then your horse is taken from you and given to beach goers so the company can make an extra buck on your time. After that you ride on the street back to where you started.

Is a problem when people that never rode horses before come to this event our horses are different type of horses you see on movies we have Higüeynos horses that are smaller than the one you see on movies but they are not malnourished like you mentioned sorry I wish people understand the difference so they don't review saying this we take care of our horses more that you can imagine

Small group, friendly guide who was happy taking loads of pictures for us and providing them afterwards, well trained horses and a nice touch having the opportunity to pick up personalised gifts afterwards.
The time we went wasn’t sunset and the route we trekked was let down a bit by lots of rubbish and construction work but the beach and coastline were beautiful nonetheless.

We happened to be the only people who booked that day and it was so romantic and nice! Our tour guide, Friendly, was very friendly and kept us on the trail. The sights are BEAUTIFUL and the horses are very nice and calm, but have fun personalities (my partner and I laughed about how his horse always wanted to be the leader). We loved it and would recommend to everyone!

Driver and Tour Guide were great. Communication was not a problem as well. The only downfall of this tour is, it is not a half day activity as advertised. Pick up at 0730am then ended close to 4pm, it is a long day tour so if you have an activity late afternoon make sure that it wont conflict.

The horses seem malnourished. At the end of the ride they get you into their store and hound you to buy jewelry. I finally bought a cheap bracelet that broke by the time I got home.

Sunset, horseback ride is a must do! Our Wrangler, Fausto, was well attentive to our abilities as riders and comfort on the horses. The horses were gentle. They knew the terrain and they obeyed commands very well. I would recommend this sunset horseback ride to anyone it’s a definite must do.

Go book elsewhere!
When you arive in location, you will immediately regret booking this tour! If it had not been for 2 little girls playing there, i would not have gotten out of the van, 6 locals sitting around drinking did not make this a very safe place to be. The garbage everywhere is well, Punta Cana.... the ride to the beach is littered with garbage but again, that's Punta Cana.
We did a stop to unmount and relax by a small pool of water where locals were out cooking, our guides were on their cell phones
and horses actually got away, walking back without us. We had to tell the guides.
Lastly, be ready to hussle with the photo guy, he drives a hard bargain. 3 Pics for $25USD.
Horses are so used to follow each other that they do not obey much commands from the rider, they follow the leader.. period!
Anyways, beware. This is not a family friendly ride.

Our driver Sammy was great making sure to provide info about our excursion and other options to take advantage of in the future. Our guide took care to guide our horses through along the trail and beach and our photographer took plenty of photos providing them all to us immediately after our ride. Would recommend this excursion to other travelers in groups or a private tour.

Great experience ! Great service ! Photos are also very well taken ! A great sense of community ! They provided us with insect repellent and water bottles and were able to take us to the beach then drive us back to our resort. Sammy was excellent to chat with and he was very friendly and kind to my family. I would recommend his services.

The tour did not really go as planned. The new owner was really nice. I hope his new vision comes to light. If the plans are implemented as planned it should be nice. I would wait a little to the new vision os realized before going again.

The tour started with a 30 presentation to get you to buy something. Finally once we started the trail it took us down a path that became very narrow , steep, full of rocks and uncomfortable for the horses to walk on. Our guide didn’t speak at all until I asked him to take a picture. Overall the ride was uncomfortable and I wouldn’t do it again.
