Don’t book this one….book a different one! The worse…

First of all, they changed my time from 11 to 9:30 because they said that it would be too hot for the horses however we didn’t get on the horse until about 11 anyway. Then the driver took us to some grassy dirt area, where the horses were not in a stable, not in the business establishment just a bunch of men standing around with the horse. You weren’t provided a bottle of water as it said in the advertisement. We rode to the beach practically stayed at the beach for a while, which we never knew we were going to the beach… then we rode right back. They had a photographer there by the name of Chris who is taking pictures and we paid for them, but he never sent our pictures. He never even came back when we did with the horses…This was probably the worst horseback riding I’ve ever done. I kicked my horse like hundreds of times and never went faster. Then we’re supposed to go for chocolate and coffee tasting. The cab driver took us to gift shop where they had free samples of mamajuana and coffee. The best thing about it was the cab driver didn’t make us wait for the rest of the people who were shopping to take us back to our hotel. And I did let the operator know that I didn’t get my pictures and they were trying to rectify it, but they claimed that the photographer was not their photographer, however, he’s there with their horses…but I will be disputing the charge for my photos that I never received.

We value your feedback, as it helps us to continue improving our services. Regarding the change in pick-up time, we understand it may have caused some inconvenience. However, due to the distance from your hotel to the ranch, it was necessary to adjust the pick-up from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to ensure your timely arrival and that you could enjoy the full tour. This change was communicated in advance and accepted. As for the horses, we use calm, recreational horses that are ideal for beginners and designed to provide a safe and relaxed experience. These are not racehorses or competition animals, as our main goal is to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable ride for everyone. Concerning the horses’ environment, in the Dominican Republic, it is very common—and healthy—for horses to graze freely in open areas with natural vegetation. They are not kept in enclosed stables all day, which reflects our local equestrian culture and prioritizes animal welfare. Regarding the photos, we want to emphasize an important point: our guides clearly informed all guests that the photographer offering services during the tour was not part of our team and had no affiliation with our company. Despite this, to ensure you had some memories of the experience, our guide kindly took several photos using the guests’ own phones as a courtesy and free of charge. Lastly, the beach visit is explicitly included in our tour itinerary. It is a planned and integral part of the experience, and many of our guests consider it one of the highlights of the day.
