We had amazing trip with...

We had amazing trip with Machu Picchu Latin America. Our guide Gary and driver Roman picked us up right on time. Our guide shared his vast knowledge at each site and made sure to pace the activities well. The climb at the terraces are steep but heade sure to stop and let everyone catch up. We were met by the next guide when we arrived at the station at Aguas Calients. They explained the next day and accompanied us to the hotel. Paulo met us at the hotel the next morning exactly on time and explained every detail as we went. His provided expert details at Machu Picchu and assisted with taking amazing photos. When we arrived back at Ollantaytambo station our transport back to Cusco was waiting. The whole trip was amazing. We took the Vistadrome train option and the 3 star hotel. The hotel was clean and very comfortable.

Amazing experience!

Our tour guide Alex was very attentive, making sure we were doing good. He explained everything and gave great advices about the safety during this challenging hike. We decided to take horses on our way up and didn’t regret it! Our journey was so much easier. The best part - we definitely beat the crowds starting the tour later. Rainbow Mountain was our own! Literally, we were last leaving the mountain. Together with Alex we performed special ceremony, appreciation and donation to the Mountain Spirits. Very beautiful! Also, Alex was a phenomenal photographer!!! He knew all the best spots and took great pictures of us. Our walk down was super easy and pleasant. Late lunch at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Big thanks to our driver Yober! He was very professional driving through winding rough roads. After the hike, Yober was waiting for us with tasty hot muña tea. Our trip was in the end of April. It was cloudy and rained the night before. But having wet mountains without blasting sun gave us the most vibrant colors!

Amazing Machu Picchu Experience with Isao

Really enjoyed this tour. Pickup from the hotel was on time and getting to the train was easy because the driver explained everything clearly. We met Isao in Aguas Calientes and he was a great guide. He shared a lot of Incan history, took some great pictures for us, and never rushed us. I appreciated that he let us stop and take breaks when we got winded and just move at our own pace. He also suggested a good place for lunch afterward. Visiting Machu Picchu was an amazing experience and Isao made the day even better.

Busy fun day!

Early morning, and long day…. But best way to experience rainbow mountain. ATVs were really fun and easy to ride. Plus saved a lot of energy riding them, and got to see the red valley. The tour guides were great! Great communication! Easy pick up and drop off! And food was better than expected. Only caveat is that there is still an hour hike, so if you are easily affected by high elevation or aren’t in the best shape, rainbow mountain in general is not for you

A great tour that was run at an excellent pace! The highlight of course was Machu Picchu. The tour was well run, with guides that gave clear instructions throughout. My recommendations for people considering this tour would be to 1) avoid the vistadome train - not worth the extra money, normal train is just fine, 2) circuit 2 is by far the best for Machu Piccchu, and 3) the 3-star hotel was excellent, nice and clean and all you needed for a good night's rest before the big day. Everything on the trip went smoothly, and the lunch on the first day was an excellent buffet of Peruvian food to try all the local dishes you have always wanted - including Cuy (guinea pig!)

Visiting Machu Picchu was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and our tour made it even more special. There were just four of us in the group, which made the experience feel personal, relaxed, and intimate. Our tour guide was absolutely lovely — so warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and significance of the site. The information shared was fascinating and easy to follow, and we learned so much while still having plenty of time to take it all in. One of the highlights was that our guide took the most incredible photos for us! They knew all the best angles and viewpoints, which meant we could fully enjoy the moment without worrying about capturing it ourselves. Everything was seamless from start to finish, and standing among the breathtaking ruins with such a thoughtful guide made it unforgettable. Always check your pickup time the night before. Our pickup was on time, there were 4 in our group, Stan our guide was wonderful, informative and very easy going. One of the top ten tours we've ever done, and we travel a lot. Stan after the Grouse Mountain took us around downtown. We both thoroughly enjoyed our tour.
