Worth booking!
Fantastic experience. Floyd was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the historic sites and how to safely ride an ATV. Riding through the hills was so much fun and absolutely scenic. Loved visiting Moray and the Maras salt mines. Riding the ATV was a nice break from walking everywhere at such a high altitude.

Amazing Tour, definitely recommend
Great experience ascending Rainbow Mountain with Flor and Shirley as our guides.
The van picked me up from my hostel with clear communication.
The breakfast and lunch were great.
The guides were very friendly and helpful, helping everyone deal with the +5000m elevation.
I can definitely recommend this company for your tour.

Rainbow Mt ATV Day Trip
We had the best day on this tour! We were picked up from our hotel in Cusco at 6:30 am and traveled by van to the Rainbow Mt car park. On the trip to and from Cusco, we stopped at a great restaurant and were served breakfast and lunch. Once we arrived at the car park, we drove ATVs about 35ish minutes up the mountains. The views were absolutely incredible! You leave your ATV and hike the short hike to the vista point. We took pictures with ‘sexy’ llamas and alpacas—our guide joked that they were called that because of their cute sunglasses. You can also pay 5 sols to take pictures standing on the hands with great views of the mountains. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested!

Amazing experience
This was an amazing tour. It is very uphill so be mindful of that but renting a horse is optional for additional money. I had Tito as my tour guide and he was amazing. He was attentive and always in good spirits. Highly recommend this tour with this company.

Worth the trip, amazing excursion
Amazing experience, totally worth it. Our tour guide, Wayra made it so enjoyable! It was a moderate to slightly difficult trek to the summit. No problem for the young people. Got a little crowded at the top, outstanding breakfast and lunch for the price.

Excellent!
The trip to Machu Picchu was well organized and instructions to get to all of the destinations on the tour were easy to follow. This ancient town is gorgeous and worth visiting. And afterward, there was plenty of time to roam the tourist town at the base of the mountain.

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience with Apu Asangate Trek during our visit to Cusco. The tour was well organized, and everything went smoothly from start to finish.
Our tour guide, Felipe, was excellent. He shared fascinating information about the Quechua community and culture, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. He also guided our group through Moray and the Maras Salt Mines, providing interesting historical and cultural insights at each location.
We appreciate the company's organization and professionalism and would highly recommend Apu Asangate Trek to anyone planning a trip to Cusco. They helped make our visit a memorable one.

Wonderful trip from Cusco
I was so grateful that all the logistics of getting to Machu Picchu and obtaining a guide and tickets were handled. Everything was perfect. Our driver picked us up precisely at the designated time (5am in Cusco) and drove us to the train station. From there we traveled on the Peru Rail Vistadome…we were so fortunate that it was us and a handful of other travelers on the train. We rested, had snacks and were invited to the back of the train to take pictures and listen to regional music. Once we arrived at Aquas Calientes, our local guide was waiting for us right outside the station. He guided us to the bus line up to Macchu Picchu. It was about 30 minutes up the mountain and he then managed us through the entry lines. All our tickets (train, bus and Macchu Picchu) were previously emailed to us the day before. (Also we booked this 6 months ahead of our trip) Our guide was awesome and after 2 plus hours in Macchu Picchu, we were back in the town. He directed us to a local restaurant and gave us directions on boarding our train back to Cusco. Other than a train delay, it was an effortless day and a truly valuable experience to have all the details and tickets handled for us. It was a long day- not going to lie- but truly worth it if you time is limited and you just want everything taken care of for you.

Great full day tour of Rainbow Mountain
My wife and I had an incredible experience on the Rainbow Mountain tour from Cusco, and we couldn’t have been happier with this company. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organized and offered outstanding value for the money.
Our hotel pickup was right on time, and the bus was clean and comfortable. A special thank you to our driver, Edwin, who navigated the winding, narrow dirt roads with confidence and care. At no point did we feel unsafe—his professionalism made the journey up the mountain just as enjoyable as the destination itself.
Breakfast and lunch were both included at the same restaurant, and both meals were fresh, delicious, and far better than we expected for a tour.
What truly made the day unforgettable, though, was our guide, Rogelio. He took the time to explain the entire itinerary so we always knew what to expect, and he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the region. Along the way, he shared fascinating information about the Andes Mountains, answered every question our group had, and even gave us excellent recommendations for places to have dinner back in Cusco. If you’re lucky enough to have Rogelio as your guide and Edwin as your driver, you’re in for an amazing experience.
The ATV ride was a fantastic addition to the tour. Not only was it a lot of fun, but it also made the climb much easier and helped reduce the effects of the high elevation.
Overall, this was an outstanding tour that exceeded our expectations. It was well organized, reasonably priced, and filled with unforgettable scenery and great people. We even ended the day having made new friends. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cusco and looking to experience Rainbow Mountain!

Sacred Valley Trip
The trip started at 7:45 with a pickup from our hotel. Went to Pisco to see the Incan site, then went into the town of Pisco to shop. Continued on to Urubomba for a teriffic lunch. Not the standard roadside food, but real kicking great culinary experience. Then went Ollantaytambo to drop off a few of our group at train station and continued to the ruins near train station. Loaded up for return to Cusco, but wait…..one more stop at a really cool textile factory. Got back to hotel around 7:15p. It was a great day. Thank you Clara and our fantastic bus driver.

Thank you Eduardo!
Eduardo gave us the team name of Team Sexy Llamas, and we were absolutely here for it! It was easy to find our group every time. We went to the same spot for breakfast and lunch, both of which were delicious and plentiful. It also had a gorgeous mountain view and clean bathrooms. Our driver Nicholas was also fantastic at navigating the difficult turns up the mountain. When we finally started our hike, we were given hiking sticks to assist us. Eduardo was great to chat with during the way up, making jokes and sharing information about the Humantay lake and Peru. The trail in the beginning was tolerable but for the more difficult steep incline section up the mountain, we had the option to rent horses for 80PEN which we gladly took. The way down was much easier on foot for everyone and the horse option is not available. Once reaching the lake, we had about an hour to explore, take photos, and rest. The lake was so beautiful and worth the hike. Eduardo took this time to give a history lesson for the entire group. He also helped a party member that was struggling with altitude sickness by giving her an oxygen tank from his backpack. He met us back down the mountain at the bus, and constantly counted to make sure everyone was both safe and accounted for. Would absolutely recommend this exact itinerary to anyone interested in visiting!
