Wonderful experience
This experience was unforgettable. It’s incredibly complicated to get to and from Machupicchu, and our guides made it as seamless as possible. Our tourguide was amazing, very thoughtful and knowledgeable. This was an absolutely amazing experience and I would highly recommend booking with this team in the future.

10 out of 10
Without a doubt, take this tour, it’s the best one out there. It leaves earlier than the rest, so you reach the mountain when there’s no one else around. They’re punctual and very professional. Everything is perfectly organized. Honestly, it’s the best tour I’ve done in all of Peru. José Luis, the guide, explains everything clearly—what you’ll do, when, and how long each part takes (about 2 hours to breakfast, then another hour to the base of the mountain where the quads are). He also takes photos for you… 10/10.

Once in a lifetime experience! Beware of altitude (5,000m) Good food. Fantastic value.
Excellent experience. Everything described in the tour details on Viator was delivered. We were happy the Rainbow Mountain Travels company supports the local Indigenous community. Be prepared for altitude sickness as the mountain ( Vinicunca) is over 5,000m with 50 percent of oxygen level compared to sea level. Our guide Yaki accompanied us up and down the mountain. Food was very good and plentiful. Travel time to the mountain from Cusco was 2.5 hours each way. On the day we went, the cloudy weather meant the colours were muted. We had a great day. Fantastic value.

The perfect afternoon
With an outstanding guide leading the way, the breathtaking scenery unfolded majestically, and riding tandem on the ATV, I felt invigorated by the adventure and captivated by the opportunity to document our journey. The archaeological sites stood as a testament to the ingenuity of the Incas' sophisticated agricultural practices, making it an unmissable destination for anyone passionate about history and ancient cultures.

Rainbow mountain trek experience
Had a amazing trip for the rainbow mountains with our guide Jonathan and our driver Edu. The journey to the rainbow mountain was very smooth, thanks to Edu.
Jonathan our guide was incredibly patient and was with us throughout the trek with us as we were little slow than other groups to climb. I highly recommend to book the trip with Jonathan and Edu if you are planning for the Rainbow mountains.

Absolutely Incredible!
What a wonderfully organized tour and such a great value! Our Tour guide Jonathan was great. He kept us safe and informed. The hike is difficult, I would highly suggest renting the horse for the trek up (90 sols). You will need the energy for the hike down which is quite long. Bring plenty of water, plenty of high calorie snacks, a poncho/rain jacket and hard-wearing shoes as it can be very wet and muddy. What a spectacular excursion, the lake is majestic and the hike up equally so. I will remember this forever!

100% experience - ...
100% experience - booking, communication, scheduling, the tour of Machu Picchu, the tour guide, and post-tour assistance.
We had some unexpected health issues just prior to taking the tour and they adjusted our tour plan to make sure we didn’t miss out.
Highly recommended!!!

Terrific Tour of the Sacred Valley.
Our guide Maiki and driver Hirin were extremely professional and accommodated all of our requests. The tour itself gave us a terrific understanding of the Sacred Valley. Great historical viewpoint in an unbelievably beautiful setting. A wonderful day.

Full-Day Rainbow Mountain Adventure with ATV
Everything went very well from start to finish. Daniel, our guide, and Jorge, our driver, were excellent. From the very beginning, I felt safe and well taken care of. It’s important to be patient during pickup time since they collect other travelers as well, but the process was organized and smooth.
I highly recommend dressing warmly, especially during the rainy and cold season. In our case, it even snowed. The altitude didn’t affect me, but Daniel and his team were always attentive, checking in to make sure everyone was feeling okay and explaining clearly how to handle the ATVs.
The food was delicious—I honestly ate more than expected because everything tasted so good. The transportation was comfortable, and since the trip to and from the mountain is done by van, you can leave extra belongings there. Bringing a small pillow or blanket makes the ride even more comfortable.
I’m very grateful for the entire experience and strongly encourage supporting the local team with a tip. I highly recommend this tour—the ATVs make the experience much easier and allow you to fully enjoy Rainbow Mountain.

Informative tour
Our guide was very informative, this is a very much a speed run tour, made me wish to come back and stay in some of these towns for longer. If you want to dip your feet into Peru history, this is an amazing way to start off your trip, and hopefully help you snowball to more ideas. I would start my trip off with this, so I can see the main points of the area, and come back around for longer stays in towns around Cusco

Things you should know
Humberto was such an enthusiastic and informative guide ~ we learned so much! He even used space on his camera to take photos and add them to the group chat. We were grateful the tour team allowed us to bring our luggage since we were stopping and staying in Ollantaytambo. They even dropped us off at a different hotel location than our original pick-up.
Things you should know:
• bring water
• bring cash
• bring sunscreen and apply it regularly
• bring a light jacket for rainy season or simply to use as a protect and against the sun
• bring a small snack ~ you won't eat lunch until around 14:00
• bring hand sanitizer
• bring a small pack of tissues (females, to use as toilet paper)
• bring ibuprofen and take or prior to the first destination of this is your first or second day in Cusco. Elevation sickness is no joke, no matter how fit and young you are, you'll get winded easily and migraines.

This was an excellent...
This was an excellent tour. It covered a range of sights and for the price was amazing. Our tour guide Filipe was very knowledgeable and explained so much to us both on the bus and at the sites. He even shared his coca leaves for us to try. I particularly loved the weaving and the explanation about the colours of the dyes and the salt mines. I would definitely recommend this tour. Take snacks/lunch and water.
