Book this adventure now…you will not regret the fun and memories you will make rafting! My family has rafted before in the US (in Maine, etc) but hands down enjoyed this experience so much more. For one, the water and scenery were beautiful but our guide and the experience were top notch. Our guide, Carlos González, made sure to have fun with us and hit all the rapids. This was the first time for my BFF and her daughter (mother-daughter girls trip), but they both loved it and felt safe the entire trip. During the ride over to the river, Carlos thoroughly explained the safety precautions, dos and dont’s, paddling commands, etc. He took every measure to ensure we were prepared for the river. During our time on the river, Carlos also talked about the river, the area, and pointed out birds or animals. He was extensively knowledgeable about the La Fortuna area. The fresh fruit break on the river was great and the traditional Costa Rican meal back at the rafting place hit the spot. My BFF can’t wait to come back to CR with both our families and take them all on the river.

Thoroughly enjoyed this informative experience. This isn’t a big commercial thing- it’s family owned. Our tour guide showed us the tools his father and grandfather used to harvest the cacao beans for generations. I highly recommend! A few things that aren’t in the booking info- 1. You don’t need any special shoe, but I’d recommend sneakers. I wore flip flops and got a few little bug bites walking through the property. Not a must, but I wished I’d worn closed toe. 2. They give TONS of fruit samples that were absolutely delicious, in addition to a chocolate banana at the start. Unexpected treat! Highly recommend Don Olivo- kind family and informative tour!

We wanted to see sloths and we sure did! We saw at least 12, including a couple with babies. Our guide, Augustin, was great. He focused in on them in the trees with spitting scope and made sure everyone got a good lock and photos and video through the scope if they wanted. I had my our binoculars, which I highly recommend. Once your guide finds the sloth you can take your time looking at them. One sloth came down from the trees while we were there, and they gave us plenty of time to watch. It was great. The rest of the tour - the coffee, chocolate and sugar cane was interesting and relaxing. But the sloths were definitely the high point for us. If you want to see sloths and experience some of the “flavors” of Costa Rica, this is the way to go.

Book it. I have been a tour guide in multiple tourist destinations and done my share of travel tours. This was easily my favorite tour of my life. Jose, Kendall, Jonathan, Caesar and Ronan are pro’s, super safe and professional fun. (Don’t listen to the few whiners here. Although I will say, to do this you must be in, like, not bad shape. You need to be active.) but they’re good at what they do and make it accessible. The jungle experience is truly magic. Unbelievable. You won’t believe your eyes.

We had a great experience and the tour was awesome! The guides were amazing especially our guide Josue. He did an excellent job pointing out animals and informing us on everything. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely recommend if you’re trying to hit all the spots in La Fortuna but be prepared for a long but fun day!

This place came highly rated and it didn't disappoint. Our tour guide was Cesar, who was amazing. He was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. The tasting was more generous than I expected, and the bonbons making was so much fun. What I didn't expect was the homemade chocolate drink that the group made collectively. Cesar did a great job of group participation. I highly recommend this tour to anyone in the area. We arrived early, so we ordered some empanadas and fruit drinks. Best of each we've had thus far on our trip.

We looked at several different catamaran tours in the Flamingo area but we are so glad we chose this tour. Our family (5 adults, 1 teen) had a great time. The views of Flamingo and the surrounding area are amazing from the water. The crew was very friendly and energetic. The snorkeling was mediocre, we didn’t really see anything while snorkeling. Our family enjoyed using the water slide into the ocean and jumping from the top of the boat. The provided dinner was good. I would definitely recommend booking this tour if you are in the area!

We had an amazing time white water rafting! The scenery was beautiful, the rapids were exciting, and the whole experience was well organized from start to finish. Our guide, Kevin, was absolutely awesome. He was knowledgeable, funny, and made us feel safe and confident the entire trip. His instructions were clear, and he kept the group entertained while making sure everyone had a great time. Kevin truly made the experience unforgettable. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this rafting company.
