Dolphins, Slides & an Unforgettable Catamaran Ride
This catamaran tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica! From dolphin watching to breathtaking coastal views, every moment felt like something out of a dream. The snorkeling was fantastic, and the water slides added such a fun, playful touch to the day.
The onboard lunch was absolutely delicious, and everything was so well organized from start to finish. The crew was outstanding—their hospitality, friendliness, and attention to detail made us feel completely taken care of the entire time.
The Tom Cat was spotless, safe, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for an amazing day on the water. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and top-notch service, this experience is an absolute must-do!

Not many things hold my...
Not many things hold my teenagers attention, but the tour at Eden Chocolate was a surprising exception. Our tour guide, Porfirio, engaged my teens in every step of the chocolate making process from letting them cut open and taste the fruit to grinding up cocoa pods to make Teobroma. The best part was making their own chocolate bonbons to take home. Both teens said that this tour was their favorite activity of the day.

Sweet and informative!
Truly feel like I underpaid for this. Such a wonderful experience, especially for my fiancée who works with chocolate and pastries so she loved getting to see the process of how the cacao that she gets is made :) our guide was wonderful and explained so much of the history, culture, and the science behind the farm. We got to try soooo much fresh fruit and some fresh cacao and chocolate. It’s a small local family farm so you’re supporting a small business rather than a corporation. 100000/10.

Incredible Tour with Havier
We had an amazing experience at Manuel Antonio Park with Havier. As a nature specialist, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly patient in answering all our questions.
Thanks to his expert eyes, we spotted many animals we never would have seen on our own. He made our first trip to Costa Rica truly special. Highly recommended!

Manuel Antonio park
Get a guide. We missed our tour so went out on our own. We tagged along as we could to hear other tours and got pretty good at animals spotting, but would have enjoyed the eyes and scope of the trained guides. Lovely park, gorgeous throughout and then you end at a gorgeous beach. So worth the drive if you're not staying nearby.

Excellent authentic Costa Rican experience!
The hike to La Leona waterfall with this group was an excellent experience! We were a small group of five led by an excellent guide,
A few details: you are handed a large water proof bag that holds your water bottles, and a smaller waterproof bag that holds one phone. Yoh leave all of your belongings in your car which you lock and provide the keys to the establishment.
Wears water shoes, preferably hiking water shoes with good grip as the path is on both, dry land, which could be rocky, and through river stone and boulders which is slippery.
Dress comfortably with clothes that you can be comfortable hiking in, and swimming with, which will get wet (obviously).
Bring a change of clothes that you can keep in the car to change into after the hike.
About the tour: Our tour guide, Esteban. spoke perfect English and led us through the moderate hike with care. He stopped to teach us about the flora and fauna in Costa Rica occasionally along the way. He exhibited great patience while we hiked through the river and swam to the waterfall. We were able to take our time and not feel rushed. All in all, it was a great day and a great experience… one which we will remember for a very long time!

Family of 5 Review
They made this experience so fun!
Family of 5 and we had an absolute blast!
The slide was a huge hit and would highly recommend. It didn’t feel crowded and the whole crew made this experience very memorable. Highly recommend and wish we could go again!

Lots of Fun!
If you like to be adventurous this tour is for you. We took the ATVs on dirt roads, regular roads, through water and we even added an optional upgrade to go to see the volcano rocks. Once you get to a certain spot on the volcano trail, you do have to walk up a steep hill, but it is not bad. Once you get to the top you can see a great view of the volcano and some of the lava rocks left behind from the eruption. I highly recommend this activity if you like off-roading. Just lift your feet up when going through the water and your shoes won't get wet.

Trip highlight
The actual zip line experience was wonderful. A very attentive staff that makes you feel very safe. They were fun also. I had kids from age 10-18 and we all loved this. My 14 year old said it was his favorite part of our trip, and he was very hesitant to do it in the beginning .The food they served was delicious along with the peach iced tea. I didn’t take any stars off for this part but the instructions to drive to the canopy area from where you check in was very unclear. We ended up driving much further than needed looking for a “big sign you can’t miss”.

Fantastic experience!
I highly recommend this hike. The waterfalls and pools are beautiful. We saw interesting frogs, lizards, plants, and butterflies. Be sure to wear hiking boots and light clothing as it is hot and strenuous at times. The house where lunch is served is amazing as well as the food. It's a perfect spot to admire the forest and relax. Our guides were excellent too.

Noland and André's 10hr tour
Noland was very informative and kept us entertained. He took us to the waterfall and to the base of the volcano. André took us on the tour of the hanging bridges where he was able to spot a yellow eyelash viper and a Rufus mutmut which were very cool to see. The 10-hour tour was well worth the money and very fun.

Monteverde Preserve tour
Our guide, Roy , was very knowledgeable. We got awesome pics of many different birds and lots of interesting information about the forest plant life and history. He was so patient with us giving plenty of time for photos. Would definitely recommend him for a good tour!

If one country is known for its nature, it’s Costa Rica. With cloud forests, active volcanoes, sparkling beaches, sloth sanctuaries, national parks, and more, outdoor activities in Costa Rica know no bounds. Luckily, it's just 10 hours coast to coast, so you can hike mountain summits, soar down raging rivers, and soak in Costa Rica's famous hot springs in just a few days. These excursions make it easier to hit the highlights, often providing round-trip transportation and sometimes taking you to multiple attractions in a single day.
