An unforgettable solo tour with Ahmed Elsayed and Ahmed Ayman—11/10!
This tour was absolutely amazing—an easy 11/10 overall. I booked the “All Inclusive & GEM” option, and it was completely worth it.
I was traveling alone and initially worried that I might get bored, feel rushed, or be pressured to buy things during the tour. What happened was the complete opposite, mainly because of my incredible tour guide, Ahmed Elsayed.
Ahmed was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He followed my pace perfectly—never too slow and never rushed. Whenever I asked a question, he immediately knew the answer. At both the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, he explained the history through interesting stories rather than simply listing facts. This made the experience much more enjoyable and helped me pay attention to details I might otherwise have missed.
Most importantly, Ahmed treated me like a friend, so I never felt as though I was touring alone. He suggested the best locations and poses for photos and patiently took many pictures of me. He never rushed me, and the entire experience felt like exploring the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum with a knowledgeable friend rather than following a standard organized tour.
There was also absolutely no pressure to buy anything. When I said I was not interested in shopping, Ahmed told me that it was my time and that I should spend it however I wanted. The pyramids and GEM part was honestly 15/10, especially because of Ahmed Elsayed.
The ATV experience was also fantastic and deserves 10/10. I was given time to ride independently and enjoy it at my own pace. When the ATV guide rode with me, we safely performed a few exciting stunts that I definitely would not have attempted alone. He clearly knew what he was doing, and it was both surprising and extremely fun.
For lunch, they asked whether I wanted a specific type of food or preferred an open buffet. I chose the buffet. The food itself was not the best, but there was a good variety of options. I would rate the buffet restaurant around 6/10, although I appreciated being given the choice to eat there or select another type of restaurant.
The Nile dinner cruise was enjoyable and deserves around 8/10. The entertainment included a singer, a dance group performing short shows to different songs, a belly dancer, and finally a tanoura performance. The food was not exceptional, but there was a good variety to choose from.
I also have to mention our excellent driver, Ahmed Ayman. Driving in Cairo can be intense, and after taking several Uber rides where I genuinely felt nervous, I immediately noticed the difference with Ahmed. He was calm, highly skilled, and drove very safely. I felt comfortable throughout the entire journey. The car was clean, in excellent condition, and had very effective air conditioning. The driver and transportation experience was an easy 11/10.
I highly recommend this tour, especially the “All Inclusive & GEM” option. Ahmed Elsayed and Ahmed Ayman made all the difference. If you can request Ahmed Elsayed as your guide and Ahmed Ayman as your driver, you can rest assured that your tour will be safe, informative, memorable, and incredibly fun.

Great Experience but Skip the Extras
The driver and tour guide were fantastic! Our tour guide spoke perfect English. Positives: The pyramids and sphinx experience was great! The quad bike was really good for the photos, but you should be warned that to get to the desert, you will need to go to back streets where they breed horses and it can get very dirty/dusty. Negatives: The tour takes you to multiple stops not discussed on the itinerary in which they bring you to papyrus, essential oils, jewelry stores, etc. so they stores can pitch their wares. I highly recommend requesting these stops be skipped unless you are interested in actually buying anything from these vendors. We went to a few stops and requested the remaining be bypassed, in which our tour guide obliged.

A must do if you are coming to Cairo!
This was a great experience. Saqqara is not a popular name, and I think most tourists miss it and go to Giza.
We were Two and had a car and a guide for us. Speaking of which, our guide Entesar was amazing: she shared stories not only about the places we visited, but about the region, history, etc.
It's summer so it was a bit hot, but the tour provided a bottle of water (we had already one) and Entesar got us some dates cookies!
Getting in thenr de pyramid was quite the experience, and my legs are hurting a day after. So ensure you have comfortable shoes and are ok going though narrow spaces...
100% recommended.

Excellent and informative...
Excellent and informative tour! Our guide Beshoy made sure to adjust the tour for our needs and wants and helped open the wonder of Old Cairo to us. The tour included stops that allowed for shopping and purchasing Egyptian specialties.
Highly recommended for a half day event.

Day full of fun, laughs, and excitement!
This was the absolute best tour I've ever taken! Karim and Sheddi were the absolute gentleman and they are both very knowledgeable! Spending the day with them felt like spending the day with family! I look forward to touring with them again. The tour was fun, we learned alot, the atv ride was very nostalgic. Loved the camel ride. The food was amazing, we found a few awesome gems during our shopping experience. We also enjoyed the dinner cruise!

Best way to see a different side of Egypt
We were promptly picked up from our hotel by our kind and professional driver, Waleed in a comfortable van. The 3 hours journey was seamless. Waleed provided us with water and pointed out important landmarks along the way.
Our guide in Alexandra was knowledgeable about the history of catacombs and Citadel of Qaitbay. Lunch was at a local restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. I highly recommend Emo Tours Egypt and will definitely use again.

Well-organized tour with great guide, but weak communication and food
Overall, we were satisfied with the excursion. We were picked up from the hotel at 3:30 AM and the driver was punctual. However, until the very last moment we did not know who would pick us up or what vehicle it would be, despite asking several times — including shortly before 3:30 AM. The communication definitely needs improvement.
In Luxor, the driver welcomed us with a sign from Emo Tours Egypt. We were taken to all the scheduled places, but overall there was not enough time to truly enjoy each site.
At the restaurant, we ate the food not because it was tasty, but because we were hungry. I would honestly prefer the tour to cost €615 instead of €600, but to include a genuinely good restaurant with quality food. The waiter greeted us wearing an extremely dirty shirt, stained with food and drinks, which made a very poor impression. The only thing that was actually good was the baklava.
At the alabaster souvenir shop, we were asked $25 for a small candle holder. We did not buy anything there. Later, we bought the same items at Khan el-Khalili in Cairo for $5 each.
We are truly grateful to the driver, Hossam Al-Aqsar — a very kind and professional person — and to the Egyptologist/tour guide Mohammed El Tahibe, who explained everything in great detail.
Tip for travelers: buy your own water (it is cheap, around 10 EGP) and bring it with you. The three tombs in the Valley of the Kings are more than sufficient; the Tomb of Tutankhamun is very small and not worth it, as all artifacts are now in the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Great tour of Egyptian food and local life!
We had a great time with Muhamad on our food tour. He showed us some foods that typical Egyptian families would eat and gave us an amazing tour that really gave us an idea of typical life in Cairo. We particularly loved that the tour included driving through the bazaar and through the neighborhoods that most tour guides would skip; It really gave a unique perspective on Cairo that I don't think we would have otherwise experienced. The lunch restaurant had a truly amazing view of the pyramids.
Overall, for the price and the experience, this was an excellent way to spend a day in Cairo!

Witness the trial and error led to the Pyramids of Giza
By joining this tour, I was able to experience the trial and error of reaching the Great Pyramids of Giza. I chose the driver-only plan, and my driver, Mr. Abdullah, was very kind and humorous and we had a great time .He even helped me purchase my ticket at the rickety ticket office. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Great Tour
Our guide Bishoy was absolutely amazing (professional, knowledgable, informative, kind) and this tour was a wonderful way to begin our trip to Egypt! We experienced authentic Egyptian essence perfume; learned about making paper and had our names written using ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics; shopped for jewelry and t-shirts; and visited a spice shop. We ended our tour enjoying delicious Koshary, Egypt's national dish. Many thanks to Bishoy and we absolutely recommend this tour to future travelers!

A fantastic cultural learning experience.
Our tour guide Ahmed was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The driver Sayed bravely and safely piloted us through the crazy Cairo traffic. I think the highlight of the trip was the visit to the two mosques in the citadel, along with the friendly discussion with Ahmed about the cultural and religious beliefs and practices. A wonderful learning experience. As expected, the Egyptian museum was fascinating, made even better with Ahmed’s insightful explanation of what we were seeing. The Khan el-Khalili Bazaar was interesting, but pretty much full of the Chinese mass-produced trinkets you can find at any tourist spot. The highlight here was enjoying a Turkish coffee break with Ahmad and watching the crowds go by.
