The Islamic Cairo tour was extremely informative. Our tour guide and driver were extremely accommodating and patient since we were traveling with a toddler. Our tour guide, Mahmood was very knowledgeable and pointed out many hidden gems. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

They will take you to the 3 shops called bazaars, cotton, perfume and papyrus. Don’t buy there because it’s more expensive. We had 2 other tours all raking to the same shops. I bought from papyrus shop but realised at Egyptian museum it was 4 times cheaper. But presentation was very interesting - definitely check it out but don’t buy.

One of the mosques would not let me in because my elbows to my wrists were showing. Be sure to wear long pants and bring a jacket with hood to cover your head and arms (I did have a scarf covering my head). Otherwise, it was a great experience to get inside the different mosques and learn about the culture.

Amazing tour with Asmaa our guide of the ancient mosques displaying handmade details to the decor. At the bazaar Asmaa was able to barter our purchases with patience in finding what we were looking for. Thank you. Lunch was a wide range of foods as a buffet. Drinks were not included with our lunch.

Our guide Asma took us through the emergence and establishment of the Muslim world in Egypt. She possessed a wealth of knowledge and was able to respond to the many questions that we had.
The whole experience was enlightening especially for an Islamic art enthusiast.
