Exceptional Cairo Experience with an Outstanding Guide, Bisho
We had an amazing experience with Bisho as our tour guide—truly one of the highlights of our time in Cairo. He is incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history of Islamic and Coptic Cairo to life in a way that was engaging and easy to understand.
What really stood out was his professionalism and flexibility. He adapted the tour to our pace and interests, answered every question with patience, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire experience. His sense of humor and positive energy made the day even more enjoyable.
Bisho clearly goes above and beyond to make the tour special, and it shows. From the beautiful mosques to the vibrant Khan el Khalili market, everything felt seamless and well-organized.
Highly recommend this tour—and especially Bisho—if you want a memorable, insightful, and stress-free experience in Cairo!

Best day in Cairo
We spent 6 days in Giza & Cairo, this day was the best day. Miriam was our guide & she explained all about Giza Square, the Pyramids - there are more than 3, the Sphinx & Osiris Shaft. Our boys were enamored with the camels. We ventured inside the Menkaure Pyramid. Got lots of pictures & Miriam made sure we had a few great poses. After a few hours at The Pyramids, we had a delicious lunch. Then we were brought behind the Pyramids to ride ATVs on the Dunes. Which was another exciting event.
We then came back to our hotel for a couple hours and much-needed break. To be picked up that evening for a dinner cruise on the Nile River. The buffet was very nice & the entertainment was outstanding. A very full, exciting & blessing of a day.
With outstanding guides & drivers.

Great romantic evening
We had a wonderful time. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our guide was great and told us all about Cairo and the significant surrounds. The food was great! This is the best way to be on the nile, tranquil and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!!!

I had an absolute blast!...
I had an absolute blast! The Fayoum White Desert was incredible—from dune bashing and sandboarding to camel rides and checking out the waterfalls. After all that adventure, I definitely worked up an appetite, and the lunch at the Bedouin village hit the spot. So good!
Taha was an excellent guide—punctual, attentive, and very knowledgeable. He even took me to an authentic Egyptian restaurant for breakfast, and the falafel was some of the best I’ve ever had. Delicious! He’s also an amazing photographer… basically a personal paparazzi. I came away with so many Instagram-worthy photos thanks to him.
If you book through Viator, just be sure to check whether your hotel is considered “long range.” Many listings say pickup is included, but some locations may have an extra fee. Thankfully, the tour company reached out ahead of time, explained everything clearly, and offered a free pickup option at a nearby hotel. I just grabbed an Uber and saved the extra cost.
Overall, an amazing experience—highly recommend!

Well-organized tour with great guide, but weak communication and food
Overall, we were satisfied with the excursion. We were picked up from the hotel at 3:30 AM and the driver was punctual. However, until the very last moment we did not know who would pick us up or what vehicle it would be, despite asking several times — including shortly before 3:30 AM. The communication definitely needs improvement.
In Luxor, the driver welcomed us with a sign from Emo Tours Egypt. We were taken to all the scheduled places, but overall there was not enough time to truly enjoy each site.
At the restaurant, we ate the food not because it was tasty, but because we were hungry. I would honestly prefer the tour to cost €615 instead of €600, but to include a genuinely good restaurant with quality food. The waiter greeted us wearing an extremely dirty shirt, stained with food and drinks, which made a very poor impression. The only thing that was actually good was the baklava.
At the alabaster souvenir shop, we were asked $25 for a small candle holder. We did not buy anything there. Later, we bought the same items at Khan el-Khalili in Cairo for $5 each.
We are truly grateful to the driver, Hossam Al-Aqsar — a very kind and professional person — and to the Egyptologist/tour guide Mohammed El Tahibe, who explained everything in great detail.
Tip for travelers: buy your own water (it is cheap, around 10 EGP) and bring it with you. The three tombs in the Valley of the Kings are more than sufficient; the Tomb of Tutankhamun is very small and not worth it, as all artifacts are now in the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Great tour of Egyptian food and local life!
We had a great time with Muhamad on our food tour. He showed us some foods that typical Egyptian families would eat and gave us an amazing tour that really gave us an idea of typical life in Cairo. We particularly loved that the tour included driving through the bazaar and through the neighborhoods that most tour guides would skip; It really gave a unique perspective on Cairo that I don't think we would have otherwise experienced. The lunch restaurant had a truly amazing view of the pyramids.
Overall, for the price and the experience, this was an excellent way to spend a day in Cairo!

Great Tour
Our guide Bishoy was absolutely amazing (professional, knowledgable, informative, kind) and this tour was a wonderful way to begin our trip to Egypt! We experienced authentic Egyptian essence perfume; learned about making paper and had our names written using ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics; shopped for jewelry and t-shirts; and visited a spice shop. We ended our tour enjoying delicious Koshary, Egypt's national dish. Many thanks to Bishoy and we absolutely recommend this tour to future travelers!

Great choice if you look for a private experience in Alexandria with a very knowledgeable guide and a great driver
I had a private tour from Cairo to Alexandria on November 3, 2025. My guide was Salma and Mohamed was our driver. Overall, I am extremely happy with the private tour and would definitely recommend it to somebody who is looking for an exciting private tour in Alexandria.
After being picked-up on-time by Mohamed in Cairo at my hotel, we had a very smooth drive to Alexandria where we arrived at 10am at the first location. Salam, my guide, was already waiting for as there. During all the stops, Salma was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The highlight was the Library of Alexandria, where Salma also works as a guide. Her knowledge and capability to connect all the different artefacts of the library into a coherent story made the experience very informative and easy to digest. After the last stop on the tour, Mohamed brought me back to my hotel – despite all the traffic and road conditions – safe and on-time.

Shops+Giza+Camel+ATV TOUR
Heba was one of the greatest tour guides I have gotten. She has made my experience here at Egypt exactly what I expected. She was very kind and informed about a lot within the city. I would highly recommend her for any visitors visiting Egypt and looking for a tour guide!

A fantastic cultural learning experience.
Our tour guide Ahmed was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The driver Sayed bravely and safely piloted us through the crazy Cairo traffic. I think the highlight of the trip was the visit to the two mosques in the citadel, along with the friendly discussion with Ahmed about the cultural and religious beliefs and practices. A wonderful learning experience. As expected, the Egyptian museum was fascinating, made even better with Ahmed’s insightful explanation of what we were seeing. The Khan el-Khalili Bazaar was interesting, but pretty much full of the Chinese mass-produced trinkets you can find at any tourist spot. The highlight here was enjoying a Turkish coffee break with Ahmad and watching the crowds go by.

I would highly recommend
Our guide, Isaac, and driver, Hamza, were both friendly and welcoming throughout the tour. Isaac was especially knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating, making sure we felt comfortable and informed at every stop.
We explored the rich history of Coptic and Islamic Cairo, visiting remarkable sites like the the Hanging Church and Mosque of Muhammad Ali. Isaac also kindly helped us capture memorable moments by taking photos along the way.

One of the mosques would...
One of the mosques would not let me in because my elbows to my wrists were showing. Be sure to wear long pants and bring a jacket with hood to cover your head and arms (I did have a scarf covering my head). Otherwise, it was a great experience to get inside the different mosques and learn about the culture.
