The religious sites were very interesting. Our guide and driver were very professional and we were very happy with the tour.

We had a fantastic experience with Mohammed Bin Shama, our driver for the Cairo private guided tour, booked through Viator with Emo Tours. Mohammed was always on time and incredibly efficient, ensuring our day went smoothly from start to finish. His ability to communicate in English was excellent, making it easy for us to engage and ask questions throughout the tour.
He was not only professional but also very caring, offering thoughtful tips and insights about the sites we visited in Islamic and Coptic Cairo. His politeness and professionalism made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day.

The tour was wonderful. The guide Myrna ( Mira) is enthusiastic and well read. She makes the day perfect. She involves each person into the tour and is happy to answer questions. Punctual, clean car, good driver. No complaints at all.
Yasmine and Said were a great team! They got us were we needed to be on time and Yasmine was very informative! Cannot imaging doing this without them.
We had great time touring around the Citadel and Coptic Egypt. Jasmine our guide was very knowledgeable We learned a lot and she the tour in interesting way. The driver was nice and brought us to the places safely.
This tour was perfect. Our guide Sameer and Sayed made sure to take us to all places and share as much knowledge of the history with us. They were also very helpful with the infants in our group. Would 100% booking this.
First of all, the driver and car service was excellent.
The guide was nice and she did her best to answer our questions. The problem came when we she wanted to cut the tour short by not going to the market. Finally we pushed to go and she accepted. Once we arrived she was pushing to leave from the begining and moreover siding with the vendors so we would overpay for whatever we wanted to buy in the market.
Finally we felt forced to tip since she asked several times throughout the day.
Overall, a good way to visit Cairo. Loads of stops and well organised. We got nice memories but we remember the day by the feeling of having to avoid being tricked all day long.
We saw Cairo’s famous mosques, Coptic churches, and one synagogue. Ruwana not only shared the history of the buildings but helped us better appreciate her culture, family life, and faith. We loved the entire experience. We spent most of the day with a new Egyptian friend.
Most places we visited are worth the visit and were considerably hassle free. I wouldn't visit the Amr ibn Al-A'as Masjid Jama from the inside though; it's a modern building, quite bland in comparison to the older mosques and you'll be literally bullied by rude people to leave your shoes with them (they will make a fuss if you want to carry your shoes with you), cover most women, even dressed modestly, with a head to toe mantle that I'm not sure how often it's washed and it's quite warm, and on the way out, they will literally "demand tips" quite aggressively too. It'd be much more better to charge a visitors' fee and make the visitors feel welcomed. It supposed to be a holy, peaceful place but it's the only place we definitely didn't feel welcomed and also didn't think the place itself was worth the hassle. Also, the guide was lovely but she'd repeat herself quite a lot and go too slowly, which made the tour take like double the time it could have taken, and she wouldn't understand many of our questions (felt almost like she memorized the info about the places but didn't know enough English for a full conversation), so in the end it's quite tiring and a bit frustrating. However, they were organized with the itinerary, the car, the tickets and the lunch was in a very yummy restaurant.
Enjoyed seeing the beautiful mosques and more modest Christian churches and the synagogue. Our guide provided so much information we leaned much about the religious history of Cairo.

Tour was good and covered main aspects of Islamic & Coptic Cairo. Guide & driver arrived at hotel on time. Zainab, the guide, was quite knowledgeable on the subject matter.

Had a great time on our day trip with Eco Tours with Mira as our guide. Very knowledgeable. Visit amazing mosques and Coptic churches in old Cairo. Marvelous day. Had traditional lunch in the "down town" of Cairo and even negotiated our way through local fruit and veg Friday market.
The whole day tour was memorable, beautiful Mosques and the Christian churches were a wonderful place to visit, to actually visit where Jesus, Mary and Joseph lived for a short time was truly amazing. I did this trip solo and felt very safe and well taken care of, my driver Esam did a good job manoeuvring the streets. My guide Hola was very knowledgeable and witty, really made the day enjoyable.
It could be better with another guide. She hadn’t give us so many infos, it was very basic and it was better reading the tabloid in the city
Good sites however the guide was not knowledgeable enough. Tour included 3 Muslim and 2 Coptic sites and lasted 5 hrs.
Mr.Essam from Emo Tours is a fantastic guide. He not only is a great Egyptologist but also makes your day perfect with surprises and great food. Amazing guy. He guided us on this tour as well as the Museum and also the Pyramids tour. All of the tours were fabulous with nice stories and very good informative and step by step guidance. With him around you can just switch off your brain and relax as he takes you around and shows you everything that you came to see and much more.
Great experience for anyone who wants to see Old Cairo. My guide Hussein was excellent! He did a wonderful job explaining the history of everything and answered all my questions. He also took so many great pictures of me at the different sites, which I appreciated since I was a solo traveller. Highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in seeing the most beautiful mosques and churches in Cairo!
A wonderful time with Khaled. He is a wealth of knowledge. Be ready to walk and talk. Seeing the changes in the religious history is fascinating.
