Super tour with knowledgeable guide

Alberto was an excellent guide, enthusiastic, articulate and very knowledgeable. Our walking tour of the Gothic quarter was slowly paced and historic architectural information was interspersed with amusing stories. We drove to Monjuic with a great overview of the city. Overall a great tour.

Our tour with Aida was exceptional. She provided a lot of information in an easy to digest way. All the locations were amazing and visually interesting. Parc at the top of a mountain. Don’t walk…take a cab.

Wonderful park to visit if you like Guadi. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. We did have difficultly finding the entrance from the HopOn/HopOff bus stop. Walked up the mountain and was sent back down because we went to the exit. Walked down and up again. By the time we got to the entrance we were exhausted. Need better signage!

A beautiful cultural, artistic, architectural, pictorial, enriching, and exhaustive experience from many points of view. I missed out on learning about the very subject of the visit, namely Catalan music. I was able to hear the power of the organ but not the distinctiveness of this music in relation to other musical genres. Sardana, cobla, its instruments (tible, two tenora, fiscorni, … remain for me unknown objects. And the same goes for the melodies, the chords, and the structures. Too many expectations on my part? Perhaps so!

Great way to experience a new city!

Best tour yet.

Emma was amazing with her passion for gastronomy and knowledge of her City and Country. She easily answered any question the group had and departed much information to our small group. We had previously taken a gothic quarter tour, but we saw new and some of the same things in a new and passionate light which was much appreciated. It will be a prime memory of our trip. If you are able to request Emma, please do and you will not be disappointed. Our tour ran late and no one cared as we smiled our way through the Gothic Quarter.

What a wonderful Food...

What a wonderful Food Tour. This is the third I have done with Secret Food Tours and probably the best! Our Guide, Jordi (George) was excellent. He explained the different areas of Barcelona and took us to interesting spots. All of the food was amazing. Jordi even helped us get back to a taxi stand so we could get back to our hotel. It is a small group, so it is always interesting and fun meeting others. I also appreciated receiving a farewell email with the sites we visited, the food that was provided, and a group photo. My favorite tastings were the Catalonian pastry and the Tapas at Bar Jaica. Don't hesitate to book and do it early in your trip to Barcelona!
