Muriel chose really wonderful tapas, drinks, and treats for us. I liked the places we visited because they were very unique and historical shops. As we walked from place to place, she also fed us historical facts and showed us hidden spots in the city.

Jordi took us to some local shops food market and eatery - all of which we would never have discovered on our own
We learnt about the history of Barcelona and ate some gorgeous local food
All portions were karge and we had sangria and vermouth as well

Don't eat breakfast before you show up - there is more food than you can possibly eat. Numerous stops, and they were all great. I'm a vegetarian and Jordi was able to make accommodations for me at each stop - my note I left on Viator about being a vegetarian apparently didn't reach him prior, we booked about two days in advance, so he had to jump through some hoops to get separate food for me, but it was still more than I could eat. I know it's hard to get a last minute paella made! Two glasses of alcohol were included on the trip, which was plenty - recommend the vermouth at one stop and sangria at the other. If you are vegan this might be a little difficult, my substitutes included cheese and dairy, but you can totally do this if you are a vegetarian (but close your eyes at the food market).

This is a great tour for those who love trying local dishes! Jordi was an excellent guide who provided knowledge about the cuisine and the history of Spain. We sampled some of the local tapas and had the best paella ever as our main course! We also sampled some of the local Spanish drinks, such as vermouth. The highlight was visiting the market, Santa Catarina. This is a much better alternative to the main market which is overly crowded and more aimed at tourists. This market is where the locals go :) Highly recommend for anyone that seeks out local/traditional cuisine.

Muriel, our guide, is passionate about sharing her city with visitors. We stopped at an old family bakery, a shop that roasted nuts and coffee, had tasty toast and finished with some amazing paella. The tour was a full 3 hrs and a lot of history was woven into the walk between stops. I recommend doing this tour when you first arrive in Barcelona. You will learn about key places to visit during your stay.

Every time I travel I always try to do a food tour and I would definitely recommend this one. There were 4 stops for the food tour and definitely a great amount of food for the price; we left very full! We got to try popular dishes like paella, as well as some “secret” dishes that were delicious. Our guide, Jordí, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions we had. Plan to arrive early and don’t cut it close; we were 2 minutes late due to navigating the subway, and we almost missed the tour!

I went on this small group food tour with my husband and 13 year old daughter. There were 4 other people on the tour that were wonderful company from around the world. Our tour guide, Jordi, is a true Barcelona native who loves to share his extensive knowledge of the Barcelona culture and the hidden gems of food around the city. My family and I all agreed that the tapas place was our favorite, but we stopped at several other amazing eateries and shops along the tour and enjoyed every single bit of it. Jordi even sent an entire list of other food recommendations that I will surely try because he really knows where to find high quality delicious food.

Three generations enjoyed this experience together! Educational and a lot of fun. They were accommodating to an under age child in terms of sangria. It was the best tasting paella that we had in both Madrid and Barcelona.

Jorgi our tour guide was above and beyond to bring us such a great food tour experience. He brought great energy to add to the tasty food that was provided from the churros to pickled anchovies and the main atrraction of the Paella. Defintely recommend this experience especially with Jorgi to have a good time while getting some of the best local food Barcelona has to offer
