Laya was a fantastic guide and a good ambassador of her city. More than a food tour, a great way to get a feel for Barcelona. And the food was delicious too. Come hungry. Would recommend.

Emanuele gave our group such a great experience. He started with some history of Barcelona which I appreciated since it was our first day in Barcelona. All of the food was great (pastries, nuts, tapas, paella). Emanuele kindly made sure we had food packed up for my daughter who got ill at the last minute and missed the tour. Would recommend!

Emmanuel is the best food tour guide ever! He’s has a wealth of knowledge about Barcelona and knows all the best places to eat. I was always afraid to try paella because I’m not a big fan of certain seafood (like oysters, mussels, calamari and octopus). I’ve always stuck to shrimp and fish but Emmanuel Gothenburg my comfort zone and I had the best paella ever at this little spot he took us to in Barcelona. I’m mobility impaired but Emmanuel walked at a pace I was able to keep up with and each place he took us to wasn’t far from the other which was just right for me. From the churros dipped in chocolate to the Bomba and Boquerines to the paella - everything was absolutely delicious. 🤤 It was only 6 of us which made the tour more intimate and we had enough food to take back to our hotel. Emmanuel made sure we didn’t miss our cruise ship. The meeting point was easy to find by cab and Emmanuel was on time. He even made sure guarded each street as we crossed. What a gentleman! 😊 Thank you 🙏 Emmanuel for an amazing experience in Barcelona that we will always cherish. May God Bless You.

Time flies when you’re enjoying Barcelona this way. Our guide Emanuel was very knowledgeable and interesting, a lovely human. Food and drink were wonderful. Definitely order the red vermouth with tapas!

Jordi nailed our first Secret Food Tours experience and our "meet and eat" in Barcelona.
We consumed a tasty and bountiful amount of food and drinks, and really enjoyed walking El Born. Everything we had - especially the Vermouth and the xuixo de crema was mind-altering in a great way. Anyone who can get me to eat fresh sardines - and enjoy them - is a true magician, and Jordi's description of what we were about to eat was spot on.
Best of all, Jordi really cared about our experience, going above and beyond just checking off places to eat. He had a map of the BCN that helped break down this massive city into digestible parts (pun intended). He sent us a group party pic, a written recap of where and what we experienced, PLUS his top 50 recommendations for more places to try in Barcelona.
I don't think you can pick your tour guide, but if you land in Jordi's care, you are in good hands.
If you're still reading this lengthy review, I happily suggest you book your time and get ready to enjoy BCN's gastronomy.
PRO TIP: Do not miss La Colmena - This authentic sweet shop was so amazing, we went back after the tour and loaded up. The love and detail they put into their products and packaging were beyond amazing. I will take my memory of devouring xuixo de crema to my grave.

This tour was a great experience. The folks in the tour were congenial, the food was tasty, but the best part of the experience was tour guide Albert. He showed us the heart of Catalan culture through the food, expressed exceptional knowledge of the food, culture, and history of Barcelona and brought us all together in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Years from now, I may not remember the dishes we ate, but I know I will always remember the experience. Gracias Albert!

We had an amazing experience on this food tour in Barcelona! The tour included an incredible variety of food, from traditional local specialties to unique dishes we never would have discovered on our own. There was more than enough to eat, and every stop offered something different and delicious.
Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about both the food and the city. In addition to introducing us to great restaurants and local flavors, they shared fascinating stories about Barcelona's history, architecture, and culture, which made the experience even more memorable.

Miguel was amazing! My husband and I had a series of unfortunate travel issues getting from the U.S. to Barcelona. Our flights were delayed by 8 hours, causing us to miss most of the tour. Despite the circumstances, Miguel went above and beyond to accommodate us. He kept me updated throughout the tour with live text messages so we could meet up with the group when we finally arrived.
Although we only made it to the last stop, there was still plenty of delicious food to enjoy. Miguel even saved a few treats from the earlier stops that we had missed. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and made us feel incredibly welcome.
Hopefully no one else has to deal with the travel chaos we experienced, but if things don’t go as planned, you can rest assured that Miguel and his team will do everything they can to make the best of the situation. We’re so grateful for their kindness, flexibility, and exceptional hospitality!

Jordy was an expert on the area food scene. He was also an excellent communicator for those of us who got caught in traffic. The bake shop was to die for & so was the tapas & also had a delicious vermuth with olive + orange which was our guides recommendation. We were served a great selection of local cuisines, the portions were large, and the atmosphere was super friendly. Our group got along so well we even hung out afterwards and made our way to the beach together. Highly recommended!!!

This was a great experience. The food we tasted was good and filling. Our guide. George, did a wonderful job explaining the history of old Barcelona and little Barcelona. He also spoke to us about the different types of foods we tasted and what to look for in the future as we tried new locations. If you’re looking for a relaxed tour with food, I highly recommend this one.

We love to go on a food tour when visiting new cities, this one did not disappoint! Loved Muriel, our guide! She was great explaining the food and culture and history of the city as we walked to our next destination. Muriel brought us to some great traditional restaurants with locals! We have 3 teenagers/young adult children and food tours are their favorite tour! Highly recommend this tour! You are definitely full by the end!
