Itinerary

Depart from a central Barcelona, and relax during a scenic journey toward Baga in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. Marvel at the majestic perimeter of rocky peaks in the Cadi-Moixero National Park as you arrive in Baga. Tour the village and it's medieval church and square, before enjoying you some free time to explore alone.

Traverse the French border on route to your next stop, the charming ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes. After your guide recommends some of the best natural fountains to visit and soak your feet in, indulge in some free time to enjoy the healing waters and browse the local artisan shops.

Next, meet back at the bus to head toward Andorra. Travel through the beautiful Pyrenees Alps and cross the Pas de la Casa, a high-mountain pass with multiple photo opportunities.

Descend into Andorra, stopping at a typical mountain valley where you get a glimpse of stone huts dotting the mountainside, a Roman church, and embark on a short hike to experience the landscape.

From here, continue on to Andorra de la Vella, Andorra's charming capital. Explore the city and indulge in some duty-free shopping before climbing aboard the minivan for the return trip to Barcelona.

Your tour concludes with drop-off back at the departure point.

Great tour

Linda_W, Sep 2026
Town of Bagà was very interesting. A true medieval town. Knowledgeable guide. Multiple stops. Relaxing between stops.

Too rushed, gimmicky

Damon_H, Sep 2026
Pros- you got to see a lot of the landscape and some old towns. Andorra is beautiful. The guides were great. Met some great friends on the trip. Con’s- they are trying to fit too much into one. You stop in the first town you come to in France where there really isn’t anything. It’s really just a stop to say you stopped in France. I feel like one of the towns after in France would have been better. You have very limited time in each place. By the time we got to Andorra we had two hrs of time. We ate since we hadn’t had the chance yet and that took an hour. Then we had an hour an hour to explore. I would have much rather just skipped both other stops and had a lot more time in Andorra. The other two stops are more gimmicky just to say you stopped in three countries. If they want to keep the same itinerary, I’d say just lengthen the trip a little. Charge a little more, and go that way. We all wanted more time in Andorra.

Worth every penny

Good day

Sanam_R, Sep 2026
I highly recommend this trip to see Andorra. It’s a great way to explore the country. The tour guide and the driver were great.

Not worth the hype

Sarah_A, Sep 2026
It’s honestly a really long trip. I wish that there was more time to sightsee. Baga was really quaint and beautiful. Ur is disappointing where we just first stop at a large grocery store to shop for french cheese if you wish and then to a really small town of Tour de Carol which had nothing in it worth noting besides a chapel and view. Andorra, which besides its history is just a tourist shopping trap.Alex our tour guide was super knowledgeable and funny and the history he shared was great but the locations of Ur and Andorra were disappointing. Andorra is like a place you visit just to mark off your bucket list. I was excited for this tour because of the idea of stopping at 3 countries but it was overall disappointing. I am writing this review as if a friend asked if they should spend the money to book and my answer is no. Alex is great and I’m sure if they choose better locations, he would be an asset.

3 Countries in 1 Day

Aixa_P, Sep 2026
It was great ! There is walking involved as well as steps. For those with mobility challenges might be difficult. It is also and all day tour involving lots of sitting as they drive from one country to the other one. Just be aware of it and try to leave the day after for resting. It is worth doing it.

Tour was average

Rita_B, Sep 2026
Not quite what I expected from the write up. More details need to be provided. I thought the part for France was seeing more of it than what it was. Andorra, I didn't expect a high end out door mall experience.

Amazing 3 country trek

This was a fantastic journey! The scenery was incredible. Our tour guide, Arnau, provided a lot of information about each stop along the way. Our driver, David, was so skilled especially through all the twists and turns of the Pyrenees. I would recommend this trip 100%!!

Very nice trip. Viator bad at handling cc payment!

Edward_C, Sep 2026
Very nice trip, driver was very good. Guide (Andrew?) Was knowledgeable and honest! I don't think I would change a thing. The meeting place is a little difficult to find. A map and a sign identifying the meeting place would be greatly appreciated! Several people's reservations were canceled by viator for non payment. I and others had to rebook at the last minute because our cc information was not in viator. Something needs to change in this area. Very frustrating.

It is a relaxing...

William_H, Sep 2026
It is a relaxing excursion; not rushed at all. Great pace to experience the three countries. Guide was great!

Great day trip!

Jessi_T, Aug 2026
We had a great experience on our trip! Everything was well organized and on time. Our guide Paulo was very informative and kept us entertained all day! Great opportunity to cross another country off our list!

Amazing Three-Country Day Trip!

Verona_K, Aug 2026
What an incredible experience visiting three countries in one day! The tour was very well organised once we got going, and it was a fantastic way to see so much in such a short time. Our tour guide was brilliant — extremely knowledgeable, patient and engaging. He clearly knew his subject and everything he shared was interesting and informative. Our driver was also excellent, and together they made the day enjoyable and memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour! The only area I feel could be improved is the communication before the tour company. I didn't receive a message from the tour company beforehand with a direct contact number or clear meeting-point instructions. As an international traveller, I couldn't easily make a normal phone call, and the meeting point was down an alley, so it was a little difficult to know exactly where to go. A WhatsApp contact or message the evening before would have made things much easier. Apart from that, it was a fantastic trip, and the guide and driver were both exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would happily recommend the tour!

Well worth it!

Florangel_P, Aug 2026
The tour was a great way to see beautiful sites and learn a little bit about the history and culture of the area. Arnau provided a very engaging view of the area including historical and cultural contexts which have more meaning to the views. There was a good mix of guided walks and personal exploration. He also gave periodic heads up on what is to happen next. Lastly, he has a good sense of humor. George’s excellent driving kept us safe through the winding hairpin turns getting to and from Andorra. I can enjoy the views better with him at the wheel. Thanks, Arnau and George!

Not enough time anywhere.

Lindsay_M, Aug 2026
First stop was okay, a small town but so early nothing is really open. The second and third stops were a store and an old church. By the time you get to Andorra you only have maybe 45 minutes alone to either eat or sightsee - not both. Because I feel people take this tour for Andorra mainly, it should've been focused there longer. The tour guide kept changing the times, plans, and was unclear on the next stops or bathroom breaks. This tour guide WILL LEAVE YOU if you're not absolutely clear about the plan.

Ok but wouldn’t really recommend.

Michele_M, Aug 2026
The tour description needs to be updated with more specific information. I didn’t realize there wasn’t much to do in Andorra except shop. Also the two stops in France were a grocery store and tiny town with one shop. We also could have stopped for better pictures. There was at least one great pull off we could have stopped at but we didn’t. The tour guide was very nice and helpful but not very enthusiastic about the places we visited.

Pablo really went above...

Josh_R, Aug 2026
Pablo really went above and beyond to make sure that our day was as special and memorable as possible! He gave us so many fun tidbits of information about each of the stops on our trip and you can feel how much he cares about making sure that our group was enjoying the experience Raul Will the bus driver was also really great in making sure that we got all the way to Andorra and back safely! Would absolutely recommend this to anybody who wants to take advantage of going to three countries in one day and would love to try another one of their tours the next time I’m in Barcelona!

Bus tour mostly, no nature, no historical Andorra tour. Pablo tour guide was very nice and personable.

Kate_K, Aug 2026
Pablo the tour guide was very warm and kind and attentive to the passengers! Felt very warmly and positively toward Pablo. The trip itself is VERY car heavy. It’s a small bus, not a big van, and was packed to the gills. We were a family of three and were squished in back row with another couple of people. Good thing they were nice and we struck up some nice conversations. No nature time. A couple town stops very quick and then unsupervised quick 2 hours in Andorra city where most people did shopping. Would not take this tour if you are interested in scenery or nature or walking Would take this tour if you like looking at scenery through van windows No tour of old town of Andorra. Had to do that on own. Would have liked more nature time, More photographic stops, an old town tour of Andorra. Again, Pablo himself very personable and attentive to passengers. Great play list on bus! Also, set expectations well and kept track of everyone

A beautiful day!

Laura_P, Aug 2026
Lots of walking on steps and uneven terrain. The scenery from the bus was beautiful. Highly recommend! Xapi was good but could work on giving better instructions especially regarding the length of time at each spot.

Be prepared for visual perfection

Elizabeth_T, Aug 2026
Pablo, our tour guide, and Raul were great. Pablo worked so hard to make all members of the excursion feel comfortable. He imparted fascinating info about our destinations and welcomed participation from the group. He frequently checked on members of the group to ensue their comfort. Monserrat, the Pyrenees, and views on the way to the Pyrenees were magnificent. We saw lush forests, mountains aplenty, waterways, etc., that were exquisite. On the downside, Andorra La Vella was kind of disappointing. It was like a very busy shopping mall.

A great 3 for 1 deal!

Andrea_H, Aug 2026
I enjoyed this excursion very much. Our driver was excellent and our guide, Berta maintained a good balance of free time to tour with the guided portions during which she explained the significance of each place we visited. Andorra is very small, so a quick trip was perfect for me, and the rest gave me an opportunity to see more of Spain beyond Barcelona, and a chance for a glimpse of Southern France. The sights of the mountains were especially beautiful!

Unique Chance to See Andorra on a Guided Experience with Stops Along the Way

David_S, Aug 2026
We enjoyed our tour to Andorra. Our driver was very good along the windy or long roads to get there. Our Tour Guide Stephen said that he normally serves as a driver, but he was an adequate guide for the various stops we made to get to the little enclave that is Andorra. My son had always dreamed of going to Andorra after reading about it and seeing pictures of the Great Pyrenees Mountains. We visited Andorra during the summer, but it would be very cool to experience it in the Winter or early Spring when there would still be skiing and snow in the mountains. Late Spring would also be fun to see the various waterfalls that were more like a trickle during the summer. Our Tour consisted of about 30 people and we rode in a larger bus. My family of 4 included my wife and I, our 14-year old son, and our 11-year old daughter. Of course, getting to Andorra entails a lot of driving, but they do a nice job of breaking up the drive along the way. Our first stop was in Baga, which was a nicely preserved medieval village. We walked the cobblestone streets and stopped for coffee and a pastry. This was important because we had a 6:45am meeting time for the tour, and my family was not able to eat breakfast at our hotel since everything was still closed until 7am. Our next stop after Baga was at a unique Carrefour in the town of Ur, France. This offered another chance to grab more food and a drink for the ride. Our last official stop in a town before getting to Andorra was at La Tour de Querol, where you could use the restroom, visit a nice chapel located near our stop and see the beautiful countryside of Catalunya Nord. Lastly, we stopped at a couple nice lookouts on Pas de la Casa before we descended down to Andorra la Vella. We had a little over two full hours to explore Andorra la Vella. We opted to visit the old city center so we could experience the town's history. We also ate lunch in that area. For whatever reason, our guide seemed to want to point us to visiting the downtown shopping district. We were surprised to learn that Andorra was such a commercial city, with major international retailers having taken over the city by storm. We expected to find more mom and pop type of shops, but there was no such thing. Commerce and commercialism is rampant even in Andorra. Coming from Los Angeles, we tried to focus on the history and quaintness of the old city center. Anyways, we left Andorra and got our unique Andorran passport stamp at the border with Spain on our way back to Barcelona. The drive home is otherwise essentially direct. The tour details mentioned stopping at the Arco di Triomf, but that was not offered for our tour. We decided to go after we got off the bus anyways, and it was located nearby our tour stopping point and good to see. In summary, if you are willing to dedicate a full day to be able to experience 3 different countries from Barcelona, including the charming country of Andorra, this is a worthwhile trip. However, if I were ever to visit Andorra again, I would want snow in the mountains and the ability to ski the slopes as a part of my visit.

Andorra

Melissa_T, Aug 2026
Our guide was amazing and so passionate about the history of Spain and Andorra. The countryside was gorgeous. It was a perfect getaway from Barcelona

Beautiful trip

Michelle_N, Aug 2026
This was a great way to see Andorra for the first time. Our guide Steve was a wealth of knowledge and a joy to spend the day with. Tour exactly as detailed in its description.

The juice wasn’t worth the squeeze

Amanda_A, Aug 2026
I really hate being negative but I was shocked by how high this tour is rated and wanted to post an honest review to counterbalance things for anyone considering this experience. To start I’ll say that I do think we got very unlucky with our guide. She was not great and I do think that if we’d had a better storyteller or a more engaging personality it would have helped A LOT. Our guide barely talked on the bus (other than to the driver) and it’s a very very long drive so it was so sooo much dead time filled with beautiful scenery (at times) but nothing of substance, which made the whole thing pretty boring. But even a better guide can’t fix the fact that this itinerary is simply not a very compelling one. The stops you make on the way to Andorra were just filler - points to stop and use the bathroom as nothing (literally nothing) is open. And since you can’t eat or drink on the bus you also have to cram any snacks in during this time. Then you get less than 2 hours in Andorra. During this time you need to eat lunch so that takes up a good portion of the visit. Andorra is cute but where the tour stops is literally a mall. So, you eat, maybe visit a different Zara than the ones they have in Barcelona, and then drive back 3 hours without a word from the guide the whole time. Was it the worst tour I’ve ever taken? No. Was it worth it to see a new country that’s otherwise hard to reach? Also no. Just wanted to give some real perspective here and let you make the decision for yourself!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. I'm genuinely sorry the day wasn't what you were hoping for. It does sound as though a large part of your disappointment was with the guiding. Our aim is always to make the journey itself part of the experience by sharing information about the places we pass through, as well as the destinations we visit. While many of the guests travelling with Berta that same day praised her knowledge and commentary, it's clear that you felt the experience fell short, and I respect that everyone experiences a tour differently. As for the itinerary, this is inevitably a long day. Visiting Spain, France and Andorra in a single trip means spending several hours on the road. For many people, that's exactly what they're looking for, as it gives them the chance to visit places they wouldn't otherwise reach without hiring a car. The village stops are included because we think they add to the day, rather than simply serving as comfort breaks, although I appreciate they didn't have the same appeal for you. I'm sorry you left feeling the tour wasn't good value. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, and we'll certainly take your comments into account. Kind regards, Robert

Great day!

staceyblanford, Jul 2026
We had a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Alex was amazing! He was funny, entertaining snd knowledgeable!Thank you!

Andorra on your bucket list?

Greg_G, Jul 2026
If a quick easy visit to Andorra is on your bucket list then this is the tour for you. There are plenty of stops for quick sightseeing and and a snack. The bus was comfortable and the tour was only half full so plenty of room. Berta our guide was friendly and knowledgeable with a good mix of guided tour and free time. Jorge our driver was competent and felt safe on the winding roads. We had just over 2 hours in Andorra which was enough for lunch and some shopping. Andorra is a tax haven so some really good deals on cigars and cosmetics/perfumes. We were stopped at the Spanish border and asked about our purchases so listen to the guide on limits. Overall just what I was expecting and and had the opportunity to see Andorra on the cheap.

A long but interesting...

Julie_B, Jul 2026
A long but interesting day. Nuri our guide was very informative and helpful. Regular stops made the travelling easier, with time to get something to eat or drink at most places.

Excellent experience!

April_G, Jul 2026
Pablo, our tour guide, was endearing and made the trip. I am always nervous about having enough rest stops, and he was very understanding. The coordination with the driver was excellent.

Andorra, with side trips to Spain and France along the way

trinidad_s, Jul 2026
It was hurried but as expected. We covered the 2 places, one within Spain and the other in France, 2 small towns, before finally arriving Andorra. The last we consider the highlight of the trip - great food, shopping area.

Great experience

Kiran_G, Jun 2026
We had a wonderful experience on our three‑country tour with our guide, Xavi. He was entertaining, funny, and kept the day enjoyable from start to finish. The tour included several rest stops for snacks, bathroom breaks, and a chance to stretch, which made the long day much more comfortable. Although it’s a lengthy journey, the drive is beautiful and each destination is worth seeing. I would have loved a bit more time to explore at each stop, but given the distance from Barcelona, the schedule is understandably tight. Overall, it was a great tour and one I would still recommend.
