Walking tour with a difference

This is a great way to do a history tour walking through the old city and being able to experience local tapas and wines at different places. Our group was around 10 people and our guide Roberto was very knowledgeable and made it lots of fun. Recommend it.

A highlight of our Barcelona visit, and the perfect “day of arrival” activity!

It was excellent; it exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Santiago was excellent, and the four stops were each unique and the tapas and drinks all delicious. Special highlights for us were the stop at the private bar that’s a cooking school - the white and red wine there were delicious, as were the top us. And the diverse and very congenial fellow participants. From a multitude of countries (Germany, Netherlands, Mexico, Korea, and the US) - people were very friendly, welcoming, and interested in chatting with fellow tour attendees. We highly recommend it!

Outstanding tour!

Absolutely awesome experience. Emanuel, our tour guide did an excellent job mixing history with food. He explained the history of the area and how it impacted food traditions as a result. The pastry we sampled was about the best thing I’ve ever tasted, the tapas were outstanding the the paella was awesome. Great experience.

Amazing! Montserrat was...

Amazing! Montserrat was beautiful and would be worth a whole day… or more!! You can even hike up if you have the time, but since we were with the group we took the cog train. Our tour guide group was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The wine tasting at the end was relaxing. Not as amazing as Montserrat but it was at a very quaint winery and with beautiful views.

My friends and I had a...

My friends and I had a great time with Marçal and Guillén! Both of them were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Montserrat, its history and quirks, and the story of the vineyard and the many types of wine produced there. It was truly like being transported into another world for a day, and certainly a respite from the busy Barcelona streets. I do wish we had a bit more free time at the monastery, as it wasn’t possible to visit the church, the museum, and other sites within a 1.5 hour timespan, but we did the best we could. Thank you again to our guides, though, for being so helpful every step of the way!

The walk was really...

The walk was really informational and (Juan) is very knowledge. We loved how he explained everything and the history. The Craft bar had really good food which is a hit and we will return again before we leave. The flameco dance was amazing 👏. Hats off to dancers, definitely reccomend this tour for 1st time visitors.

Santiago was amazing, and very communicative. We enjoyed a private dining experience with Sangria, cooking lessons and tapas. Be careful when scheduling because we were really excited about the market tour and did not realize that it was closed on Sunday so we couldn't enjoy that part of the experience.

Martina was an excellent guide, leading us through markets and neighborhoods in Barcelona that we might never have discovered on our own. In addition to the delicious tastings, she pointed out notable landmarks and shared insights into the area’s history and culture. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and friendly personality made the experience both educational and enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Barcelona beyond the typical tourist attractions. One bit of advice - the meeting location was shown as “meet at Liceu, Barcelona; guide will be by “Mosaico di Miro” Joan Miro’s mosaic, just outside the Liceu metro station”. The metro station was easy enough to find, but we were looking for a mosaic on a wall, not imbedded in the ground. Look on the ground!

The Best Introduction to Barcelona

If you're thinking about booking this tour, do it. Jenna was the perfect guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable without making it feel like a history lecture, and her personality made everyone feel comfortable from the start. It honestly felt more like exploring Barcelona with a local friend than being on a tour. We learned so much about the city's history, culture, and food, and she shared amazing recommendations for places to eat and explore beyond the tour.
