- The tours follow carefully planned routes, avoiding busy streets and traffic and riding mainly on bike paths, down Gothic alleyways, through parks and along the beach, so just pedal and enjoy the ride.
- Weather:
- The tours go out rain or shine. Rain ponchos are provided in wet weather. It's a good idea to bring along some sun protection in the summer and something warm to wear in the spring and fall.
- Bikes:
- You will love our bikes; they're so fun and easy to ride! They have 3 speeds, wide handlebars, big tires, super-comfortable seats and, of course, bells. Everybody loves bells. Kid bikes are also available on request.
- Group sizes are guaranteed to 9 guests or less
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 9 travelers

We didn’t do the afternoon tour we did the evening tour, and we loved it! Our tour guide Alvaro was great. He was very engaging and was very knowledgeable about the places that we went to see. I would highly recommend this bike tour. We used the same company when we were in Paris.

The tour was just okay. It did not cover several of the sights that it outlined we would stop at. The tour guide also rambled on at certain stops the first half of the tour. The second half of the tour had some better sights, but felt more rushed and it would have been nice to have more time.

Our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable! Biking through the streets takes some getting used to and make sure you watch the traffic lights, but it’s a great way to see a lot of sweet little hidden places we would have otherwise missed!!! It’s so worth it!

They kept us waiting for 30 min when there was a massive group of students, only to tell us they couldn’t get in touch with our guide and our tour was cancelled.

Very nice way to en explore thé highlights of Barcelona with a Dutch guide. We had some troubles to get in Barcelona in time because of the bad weather, wonderfull that they could rebook it for us a day later!

Fantastic tour, well worth the money. No cycling ability required as very flat and no long periods of cycling as we were stopping to look at places and find out about places. Our guide stayed with our bikes while we had a closer look too

I think this is one of only two negative reviews I have ever left in my life. I do not like to put negative energy out into the universe or hurt small businesses. However, I do not want others visiting Barcelona to miss out because of this tour.
This was one of the most disappointing tours I have ever taken. While our guide was extremely kind, she seemed to have limited knowledge about Barcelona, and we received very little information throughout the experience. I was shocked by how few sites we saw.
Our group chose not to go to the Sagrada because it was too hot that day, and we voted not to bike up the hill. However, instead of offering to take us to the main cathedral nearby (or something else), the only alternative she suggested was sitting down for coffee. If the cathedral was not in a bike-friendly area, she could have offered another site — anything that would have given us more of a sense of the city.
What’s more, we learned almost nothing about Barcelona’s history or industry. I walked away feeling like I could have learned more from a two-minute YouTube video. We saw so little and learned so little.
Again, the tour guide herself was very kind, but I cannot recommend this tour in the slightest. I left feeling extremely disappointed.

Fantastic tour in a nice small group! Alvaro was our guide so we couldn't have been luckier. He's incredibly knowledgeable and very happy to answer any questions. He also provides a QR code link to his website at the end of the tour that provides lots of additional Barcelona tips.
Only thing that could enhance the tour would be earpieces so that the guide can either point things out as we cycle or help with directions along the way.

We had a wonderful bike tour through Barcelona with Angie! I went with my older mother and my two young kids, and she did an incredible job catering to everyone’s different skill levels. She was so attentive—especially with the kids—making sure they were safe and included throughout the ride. Angie struck the perfect balance between exploring and learning, sharing so much interesting history and local insight along the way. The route was very manageable and not physically demanding, which made it enjoyable for all ages. It was such a fun, memorable way to see the city—highly recommend!

What a great tour. Angy was amazing. I was able to do the tour with my 6 year old. She was too small to ride by herself but they had an attachment that let me drag her along the tour with me. Yes it was more cardio but I was up for the extra work. So happy I did the tour my daughter was so happy and I loved combining my two favorite things cycling and history. Would definitely recommend! Angy is amazing and a great guide.

We had the best guide on the planet, Samuel. He had so much energy and was full of knowledge of Barcelona. He made the trip fun and spiced it up with a bit of trivia. At 72 I was a little concerned that the terrain would be too much, however it was as promised, an easy terrain.

The bike tour was great and fun. Alvaro was very knowledgeable and spent time with us explaining everything we passed along the ride. He avoided all the traffic, taking several quiet streets, which made the ride even better, since we were on the local streets and experiencing a local experience as well.

Our bike tour was the best experience. We were able to see the major attractions on Barcelona in a short amount of time. Our guide Samuel was knowledgeable and quite entertaining. You could clearly tell he has a passion for the city. We had a family of 4 with a 12 year old and 2 year old. They were very good in making sure the children had a secure bike and seat with helmets for the ride. Very safe for children. At one point we were separated from the group and the guide and tour host did a great job locating us and reconnecting us with our group. I will one day return to Barcelona and would probably do the tour all over again because we enjoyed it so much! This was the highlight of our trip!

One of the many tour routes offered by the best bike/e-bike rental shops in town. Bicycles are in very well maintained and like new operating condition. Igor guided us safely thru many interesting sites while stopping to provide us with quality explanations and a short time to explore each site briefly before venturing to the next attraction. We did not feel rushed whatsoever.
This is a great tour if you have limited time within the ity or if you would like a preview of sites you may wish to visit in more depth.
The staff at the shop were equally courteous and helpful I providing a great overall experience.
Important: keep in mind that Barcelona is a very busy and touristy city. Allow plenty of time to obtain a taxi if you are visiting from a cruise ship both departing and returning to your vessel. The atmosphere is VERY relaxed at the Taxi stands at the port and they don't load taxis very quickly....It's about a 20 min ride to the bike shop, only because of the traffic and required route from the ship. ....there are many One Way streets here. We took a cab half way and walked the remainder of the trip, because it was quicker.and to avoid being to late to the meeting area.
We highly recommend Fat Tire Bike Tours here in Barcelona and in Rome.
