Wonderful food experience and tour

Emanuele gave our group such a great experience. He started with some history of Barcelona which I appreciated since it was our first day in Barcelona. All of the food was great (pastries, nuts, tapas, paella). Emanuele kindly made sure we had food packed up for my daughter who got ill at the last minute and missed the tour. Would recommend!

MUST book experience for culture & wine buffs!

This has been one of the most enjoyable tours I’ve been on - and I’ve been on many Viator tours globally! VINCE was an absolute superstar, combining his deep knowledge of history, food, wine, culture and religion to help teach us about the magic of Montserrat and the winery. Vince made the effort to remember where everyone was from, checking in with each of us throughout the day - something I really appreciated as a solo traveller. The winery lunch was absolute delicious and we got to taste many of their biodynamic varietals, learning about the process along the way. Overall a beautiful experience, excellent value for money and got to meet some wonderful people. 12/10 would recommend this tour!

A must do!

This tour was truly a highlight of our time in Barcelona. We stopped at four local spots to try a drink and multiple tapas, and each was phenomenal. Our guide, Angie, was funny and informative, and we got a look at and taste of diverse food and drink that were all so helpful for getting a flavor of Barcelona. Great evening!

I was unable to go- I hurt my knee and it was difficult to walk- but my husband and son were anble to go and had a terrific time with Juan Miguel. He taught them many interesting facts about the Gothic area and pointed out new areas to see. It ended up just the three of them! They raved about the Tapas & Beer at Craft. They both enjoyed the Flamenco show, the guitar music, & the sangria. Thank you Juan Miguel for a fun, enjoyable evening. I missed it, but I saw lots of pics and heard many stories.

A first/second day must do

We booked this Food tour for the following morning (11am) after arriving in Barcelona from the U.S. to give us time to recoup from travel. It was the perfect thing to do! Our guide Vincent (Vincenzo) was very engaging and knowledgeable not only about the local cuisine by also the history and knew his was around very well. The food spots he took us to were superb. Savory as well as a few sweets! It really gave us a good sense of the culture, history and a lay of the land. Would highly recommend.

Best paella you will have!

If you love paella or want to learn how to make it, this is a definite must! Luca was our skilled chef and he was a very kind and generous host. His passion and love for food shows in how he describes his cooking methods. The class starts with a quick trip to the market, followed by sangria (or other non alcoholic drinks) and a great selection of tapas Luca quickly put together for us. From there, the group helps prep some items for the paella. Luca described each step and the purpose as he and the group makes the paella. The finished paella was the best meal we had in Barcelona and everyone left with more than enough to eat, good company, and new skills to try paella making at home (which I can’t wait to try). Phenomenal time, thank you Luca!

Fabulous tour led expertly led by Juan who was so knowledgeable. I've been to Barcelona many time, but Juan took us down lots of side streets that you'd nornally just walk past, which were full iof character. Excellent first day of trip tour. Alessandro is very knowledgeable and gave us a bunch of information and other ideas for our weeklong Barcelona vacation. Tremendous local knowledge, Spanish history and lots of good restaurant ideas. Other food tours we have done have us pop into a place and try one food and then move onto the next. This tour we did two stops and liked this format. Gave us time to be a more relaxed tour and not rushed. 5 stars
