My mother and I were visiting Austria from Canada for my birthday. Jenny is without a doubt the best tour guide we have ever had. Jenny is not an average tour guide - she holds a Master’s degree, and her depth of knowledge of Austrian culture, architecture, history, and food and wine truly showed. She was incredibly knowledgeable, and able to answer every question we asked, whether it was about the Wachau Valley, Austrian history, wine, the Habsburgs, or something completely unrelated to the day’s itinerary. Jenny brought along an iPad filled with photos and other visual aids that made everything she explained easier to understand. It was obvious how much preparation and care she puts into every tour. Jenny is an exceptional storyteller. She has a gift for introducing the history behind an object or location before we saw it, so when we encountered it later, it felt like the culmination of the story rather than just another artifact or exhibit. We were on a tight schedule because I needed to return to Vienna in the evening, and Jenny seamlessly tailored the day around our interests while making sure we still had time to browse local shops, enjoy the castles and wineries, and we never felt rushed. Every stop was perfectly paced, thoughtful, and engaging. Beyond her incredible knowledge, Jenny is warm, personable, professional and it was genuinely lovely to spend the day with her. At several points throughout the tour it felt like we were just spending the day with our (brilliant and educated) friend. Jenny truly set the standard for what an exceptional guide should be. The entire experience was flawless from start to finish. We wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend Jenny for any tour in the region without hesitation. If you’re looking for a fun day with a guide who is brilliant, charismatic, engaging, exceptionally well prepared, and genuinely passionate about sharing Austria’s history and culture, Jenny is the one to book.

Very informative chat about wine with a tasting and self guided tour through the shop’s cellars (which were a treat to visit during the heat wave this week!). The shop had a great selection of delicious and very affordable wines! Highly recommended for those interested in local and regional wines.

Food tours are one way we try to get off the beaten path and hear local stories when we travel, and this tour was great. Roland took us to many hidden gems in the heart of district 1 and the food and drink were excellent. He also told us interesting historical facts as we walked, so we fed our brains too. This tour is highly recommended!

Great and unique way to spend an hour and a half whilst in Vienna, especially if you have kids. Our host was really friendly and enthusiastic and patient. There was a really great choice of toppings for the chocolate bars and choice and of chocolate too. Also found the Viator app really easy to use and had no issues with my booking. Would recommend

Unique and full of interesting facts. We were able to go at our own pace and enjoy time in the cellars. The handheld devices were easy to use, albeit could be distracting when standing next to another person. There wasn't an earbud option so noise could carry if volume was too high. The tasting afterwards was fun and added to the experience. All in all, would take family/coworkers here again.

Exceptional Food & Wine Tasting Experience in Vienna The food and wine tasting in Vienna was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Every course was beautifully prepared, highlighting the rich culinary traditions of Austria, and thoughtfully paired with exceptional local wines. Each tasting felt intentional and elevated, making the entire experience feel both luxurious and authentic. Our host Wolfi’s was incredibly knowledgeable—sharing the history behind each dish and wine, along with insights into Vienna’s vibrant food culture. The atmosphere was warm, intimate, and welcoming, creating the perfect setting to savor every flavor. This experience was a true highlight of my time in Vienna. I left with a deeper appreciation for Austrian cuisine and wines, and I would highly recommend this tasting to anyone visiting the city. A memorable and truly 5-star experience!

A great journey through Austrian wines. Stylianos (Stelios in short) has exceeded all expectations. His breath of knowledge is amazing but above all it was his guidance during the tasting of each wine. Each glass was presented and discussed and he helped us draw all we should from a glass of wine… aromas, taste, acidity, boldness… I would repeat the session any time as Stelios changes the wines often to keep it interesting. A plate of cheeses per person accompanies the tasting and Stelios suggests the pairing. The event takes place in a specially designed space dedicated to wine tasting. We tasted Guner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling from local producers but the highlight (and the surprise) of the evening were the reds Sankt Laurent and Blaufrankisch. Didn’t expect that. So happy to have joined this event.
