This was the perfect blend of history and good food. Wolf left us riveted with the history of Vienna and how easy it was to get around with mass transit. He was engaging and entertaining and all of us had an amazing time. Good food, good stories and great company. I would definitely recommend if ever in Vienna and want a great tour that combines both.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on this Vienna food tour! Our guide, Wolfi, was outstanding—his knowledge of both the city’s history and current affairs really brought everything to life. He created such a warm and engaging atmosphere that it felt less like a tour and more like exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend. The food was incredible—delicious, authentic, and there was plenty of it. We were also pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of wine and drinks included throughout the tour. It was the perfect balance of tasting, learning, and enjoying. We covered a large part of the city, and honestly, as a tourist, this is not something you’d ever be able to organize or experience in the same way on your own. Everything was thoughtfully curated, and it made for a seamless and memorable experience. Wolfi truly made the tour special, and we had so much fun from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vienna!

Every course was beautifully prepared, highlighting the rich culinary traditions of Austria, and thoughtfully paired with exceptional local wines. Each tasting felt intentional and elevated, making the entire experience feel both luxurious and authentic. Our host Wolfi’s was incredibly knowledgeable—sharing the history behind each dish and wine, along with insights into Vienna’s vibrant food culture. The atmosphere was warm, intimate, and welcoming, creating the perfect setting to savor every flavor. This experience was a true highlight of my time in Vienna. We loved Vienna After Dark Tour! We not only saw new parts of Vienna but went to places to eat we would not have found on our own. Maria made the entire experience so much fun and the restaurants we went to love her and took excellent care of us. The food was fantastic and plentiful – Way more than we could eat! And the drinks were wonderful – I did not know Viennese wine was so good! We highly recommend this tour with Maria!

Great Tour!

We had a fabulous time on this tour! Wolfie was an excellent host. He took us all over the city to prime locations and filled us up with delicious food, wine, and cocktails. He even sent us home with treats! This wasn’t just a tour to spots within a short, walking distance, we used our feet, the metro and the bus. This was an overall excellent experience that I highly recommend. Make sure that you show up hungry!

A fabulous night-time activity in Vienna. Wolfi was a great tour guide. So knowledgeable, fun and friendly. The food, wine and cocktails were top-notch, and Wolfi’s commentary was terrific. We have done food tours in many cities all over the world, and this one was so different because of all the different neighborhoods that Wolfi introduced us to. I can’t say enough good things about this tour. Wolfy was an amazing guide. As a solo traveler, and my first time in Vienna, the information he gave was SO helpful. Especially about the public transport. He shows you and gives you details on how to use it and get around the city. The tour also takes you to places outside of the super touristy areas that I would have never gone to on my own. The food at every stop is fabulous. The wines are amazing. Truly, book this tour. You will not regret it. Book it early in your stay if you’re like me and need help navigating public transport in a new city. The recommendations for where to go as well for the rest of your visit are great. He also helped me with recommendations in the city I’m off to next. Do not miss this tour. Truly one of the best tours in any city I’ve been to.

Maria was an amazing guide for this amazing experience! Not only did she take us to several wonderful eating establishments, she gave us a great overview of Vienna. We started out with charcuterie and wine, cappuccino with authentic desserts, which lead to a fabulous Austrian main course and we ended the evening at a rooftop bar for a sunset cocktail. I can’t forget to mention the stop at the chocolate shop with a wide assortment of chocolate bars to choose from to take home and enjoy! Come hungry!

This food tour had everything! Wolfy was an amazing guide and host. We covered a wide area and learned all about Viennese history combined with insights of how the Viennese live today. The food was delicious, servings generous and drinks were spectacular. He combined old school (one of our venues had been trading continuously for hundreds of years) with the new (gorgeous rooftop bar with views and exceptional cocktails). Wolfy has chosen the tour venues with care. You will get a taste of local flavour combined with excellent service (and you’ll learn how to navigate the city. Book this one on your first day in Vienna and you will be set for the rest of your visit. Absolutely faultless.

Wolfie is an extraordinary guide. In my case, we were just 1 on 1 so I got a deluxe experience. He provided me with a history of Austrian politics, economy, housing and so on in addition to the unique features of all of the neighborhoods we visited. Wolfie explained the background of the restaurants we went to, where the wines came from, about the cheeses and meats. I learned how to get around on the subway so that within an hour, I knew I could go anywhere! Just a complete experience and a great way to spend my first night in Vienna. Highly recommend the tour.

Could not have had a better experience with Wolfi and the people on the tour. He took us from place to place, offered all kinds of information, spoke to us about the food, the restaurants, the city, and he kept the food and booze flowing. I was a solo traveler and the group really came together as the night went on (the booze likely helped!). I can't remember all the places we went to, but Wolfi kept track of us and fed us well. He seemed to have a special knowledge of the area and good relationships with all the establishments. Tables were always ready, at one point we were in a secluded area on a rooftop bar, and we finished the night at an extremely popular place and he was able to skip the line to get us a nice table outside. Everyone in our group exchanged numbers and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you Wolfi! One of my favorite experiences in Vienna. Highly recommend anyone considering this tour to jump in and do it!

We would highly recommend this tour. Wolfy introduced us to a variety of Viennese foods which were all incredibly delicious. We travelled to different areas of the city on the underground and were able to use the tickets the following day. The weather was awful all day but this experience has been the highlight of our trip to Vienna.

Best food tour I have ever taken ! Went all around the city on the train saw many districts. So much food Very accommodating anything you wanted to drink including alcoholic beverages. Experiences all the must do in Venice. Loved having wine and cheeses and meats at a local market area. You would never think to go to this area if it were not for the tour. Thank you Wolfy

This was one of the best experiences we had. Wolfie was an amazing human and his tour was one of a kind. He taught us how to get around the city, got us away from all the chaos and made us feel like locals. We landed from the US and took this tour a few hours later and it was so worth it. I appreciate how organized he is and connected in Vienna. We felt so special and like we gained a new friend. He even sent us recs from other places we’re going to on our trip outside of Vienna. 11/10. Also everywhere he took us was so cool. Food was delicious

Highly recommend this tour! Wolfi was an amazing guide. The focus was definitely on the food and drinks but as we were walking we did learn about Vienna. The pace was great . We never felt rushed at each place. I also liked that he explained the public transportation system as that can be intimidating. It is a lot of food and drink so go hungry! I also appreciated the follow up emails.
