This was a long drive but...
This was a long drive but all worth it. Grant our driver was very informative. We had some few stops to stretch and got a bite to eat.
The Hobbiton was really good. My husband enjoyed it a lot. Got there early so kind of good missed all the crowds. Got pretty busy after we left. That was a plus. Wai-o tapu was really
Nice which we were on our own and had to meet up later. Nice views kind of reminded us when we went to Yellowstone national park.
We took this tour to venture out which we enjoyed a lot. Glad we did. Thank you Grant for an enjoyable time.

Excellent walking tour
A very interesting historical tour of Auckland through Albert Park, in and around the university precinct and concluding with a walk down to the Britomart and along the harbour front. Along the way we learnt about the history of Auckland and the architecture of buildings, saw vibrant street art and a myriad of lanes filled with coffee shops and eateries. We also went to little spots we would not have found on our own such as the breathtaking views from an upper level of Princess Wharf.
Paula is a most excellent guide, she is well organised, extremely knowledgeable and presents the content in a most engaging manner.
The small group is an added bonus as we felt connected and involved from the very start.
This tour is highly recommended We have been to Auckland several times but this tour made Auckland more exciting and real.

Explore Middle Earth
Amazing tour with Bush & Beach! Excellent communication regarding pick up and the logistics by Alex, our transport chaperone (as he referred to himself) and then handed us over to our driver & guide Steve who was amazing! I highly recommend Bush & Beach for this tour, and a visit to Hobbiton should not be missed, even for those that aren’t fans of the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit movies. It is a ‘magical’ place and the lunch was wonderful!

A very interesting...
A very interesting culinary experience with elements of New Zealand's economic and history. For those planning a short stay in Auckland, it offers the opportunity to explore the diversity of local cuisine, and for those staying longer, it offers some ideas for further exploration of local flavors. I highly recommend this adventure.

Beautiful way to experience Coromandel in one day!
An amazing day trip with a nice and short hike to the Cathedral Cove (there seems to be an alternative way to go as well by paying $40 and taking a water taxi, but I definitely recommend the hike to take in Coromandel). The beach itself is beautiful with plenty of space and avenues to take pictures and take a dip.
The hot water beach on the other hand is okayish. Not bad but nothing super spectacular itself. However the trip is worth just the first half. Also our guide, Ari was absolutely amazing with tidbits of trivia and making the journey quite fun.

Te puia and poly spa
My sister and I had a great time with Matt as our guide. We decided to do te puia and the Polynesian spa and I would definitely recommend both! We started our day at te puia and learning about the culture and natural wonders of te puia and Rotorua. A truly wonderful experience with some great information. We ended our trip at the Polynesian spa and it’s was so relaxing! It’s not something I would ever choose to do personally but my sister really wanted to it and convinced me, and we both had a wonderful time. I would recommend bringing your own bathing suit and flip flops for the spa, both are available for purchase at the spa tho. Shampoo conditioner and lotion are all available at the spa for free use as well so don’t worry about bringing your toiletries. We decided to have lunch at the spa cafe and it was super tasty (get one of the fresh squeezed juices!) the spa has some great skin care to try out and purchase as well but I do think te puia had the better gift shop all around (one of the best that we’ve been to over the last few days if I’m being honest we did the majority of our souvenir shopping there) over all highly recommend and I would do it again in a heart beat.

A must do
Our tour to Hobbiton Movie Set and the Waitomo Glowworm Caves was a great experience overall. Our guide, Cheeky Mike, was very knowledgeable, engaging, and made the trip enjoyable with interesting stories along the way. Hobbiton was beautiful and immersive, and the glowworms at Waitomo were magical. The only small downside was not being able to take photos or videos in the caves, which was a bit of a bummer. Overall, it was a very enjoyable tour and well worth doing while visiting New Zealand.

Hobbitton and Waitomo Caves - WORTH IT
This was really incredible. The bus to get to the caves and Hobbitton was clean and comfortable. The bus driver was lovely. The Waitomo caves are unlike anything I have ever seen before. If it wasn’t so beautiful, I would be totally freaked out by being on a tiny boat in pitch black. After the caves we went to Hobbitton. The tour guide we had was so good. Everything was super well organized.
My ONE complaint is that I requested a vegan option for lunch and it was lettuce and tomato on a soggy bun and it was inedible. If you’re vegan, bring your own food.

Experiencing the Shire/Dragon Inn with Auckland and Beyond Tours
Geoff picked us up, and along the 2.5 hr drive he shared his knowledge of all things New Zealand as a 4th generation Kiwi, with consideration that some of the riders might have just traveled over 25 hrs to get to NZ. Once on the movie set, Andrew was our guide with a wondrous enthusiasm after growing up on set as his father worked on the original movie/set. Walking thru the hobbit 'holes', and the level of detail transports you back to the movies. A brilliant experience that I'm grateful I didn't miss.

Wonderful and fun way to...
Wonderful and fun way to see the Auckland Harbour. The night we were out there were dozens of other sailboats and really gave us a feel for how Kiwis belief in working to live. Crew was awesome, food was good. It was a chilly night we were out and they provided blankets to stay warm. This was an experience we will rember for a long time to come.

Excellent food experience! Thanks Alex!
This is an excellent food tour! Not too much, so you didn't feel bloated...the food was delicious especially the meat pie...and our guide, Alex, was outstanding! Her passion for food and 5th generation history of New Zealand helps make it an outstanding food tour! Thank you Alex!

Highly Recommend - Great Tour
Our party of four enjoyed this tour, whilst in port on a cruise. Meeting / pick up location was in walking distance from where our ship was docked - very convenient and easy to find.
The bus was clean and comfortable, with an informative driver. The 3 hour overview tour of Auckland went by so fast - it was brilliant. At the drivers recommendation, we went to a CBD pub for lunch - that too, did not disappoint.
I would recommend this tour to those who have a short amount of time in Auckland or those who don't want to pay the high prices of a shore excursion that cruise liners charge.
