What a way to see Auckland

What a fabulous tour. Our guide Kristen was amazing. Pre tour contact was great- asking our dislikes/likes and what we wanted from the day. Unfortunately she was given the thankless task of cramming as much into 8hrs as possible. We had a lovely walk around the city and then we jumped on a ferry to devonport for a wander and beautiful quayside lunch. Back over to mainland and then visited a few food markets, caught the bus to Newmarket and visited a rooftop mall oasis- well worth a visit, back on the bus to Posenby for a drink in a quirky bar then a lovely walk downhill back to our starting point. Kristen was informative, funny and checking we were ok- a very attentive host. I highly recommend doing this tour- personalised to what you want and will be asking for Kristen again when we return to Auckland- lots more hidden gems to find.

Our tour guide in Aukland was wonderful ! Nikolas escobar however our meeting place coming from a cruise ship was way too far away … could have met easily walking at Maritime museum instead of war memorial
