Loved this tour. Especially liked the use of the Hop on Hop off bus system which provided flexibility as to how long to stay. The highlights of this tour were visiting an actual tulip farm, talking to the people who run the farm. This was an awesome experience. The windmill canal tour was great as was the opportunity to visit the Keukendorf Botanical Garden.

Beautiful Tulips!

This was a great way to see the tulips. The windmill cruise was interesting and our captain was funny; but the tulips were the real star of our day. You could probably just do the bust to/from Kuekenhof without the windmill cruise and be fine, but I enjoyed the overall experience.

Fantastic experience! My daughter and I enjoyed our excursion through and outside of the city. Our guide, Skip, was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. The bikes were easy to use, and the company is conveniently located. If you have time during your stay in Amsterdam, it is worth taking a trip outside the city for a few hours.

Cruising in style

The Salon style boat was the perfect choice for the chill of the morning. Its transparent roof allowed us to better view the homes along the canals. Its electric motor was quiet and fume free. The Guide/pilot was competent and very knowledgeable of the local history of Amsterdam. I would thoroughly recommend Captain Dave's Boat Tour to everyone.

A great way to see Amsterdam! Our tour guide was fabulous and shared lots of history and facts. Only downside was that at times riding through the traffic was stressful. You were disconnected from the group at times as you had to wait back if you didn't make the lights at intersections, then catch up and rejoin the group.

A Perfect Day in Bruges

This tour could not have been better, both because of the subject of the tour (Bruges, Belgium) and because of the efforts of the tour guides. Bruges is a preserved medieval community, and it’s easy to imagine walking (or boating) around it 8-900 years ago. Blanca, our chaperone on the bus, was utterly charming and enthusiastic about going to Bruges, and effectively communicated her excitement to us. Our walking tour guide, Gosia, (sp?), conveyed both her excitement and her knowledge of Bruges’ fascinating history. The plan for the tour left an appropriate amount of free time for ambling about the city, before we had to return to Amsterdam. This tour just could not have been better.

Kayleigh was an amazing tour guide! She is so knowledgeable about the history of Amsterdam and the Jewish Quarter and able to answer any questions you may have about the city. She is also super cute and personable. This is the second time I’ve taken this tour (first with friends and a year later with my husband) and I still learned new information the second time around. The way the tour is structured leaves you at the Anne Frank to tour on your own. Very sobering but definitely a must see while in Amsterdam. Highly, highly recommend Kayleigh and this tour!

This boat tour was absolutely fabulous! The service was excellent and the food was delicious! There are three choices for each course - fish, meat, veg, and for dessert there was fruit, cheese, or cheesecake - and there is a bathroom on the boat. We would recommend this tour a thousand times. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful last evening in Amsterdam.

Perfect Way to See Amsterdam

We had a relaxing, informative, and comfortable cruise on the canal and absolutely loved it. Our time in Amsterdam was cut short by flight delays but we did this our first night in town and got to see and enjoy so much. And the knowledgeable team gave us a few recommendations for making the most of our time in Amsterdam as well. Unforgettable evening, highly recommend. It was also less crowded at some times than others - we were almost crammed on an earlier scheduled tour but were so glad we waited for the next one to enjoy a more comfortable ride.
