We had a wonderful time listening to these talented and enthusiastic musicians. They introduced each piece with a bit of whimsy and humor. They were flawless in their performance and lovely to listen to. The intimate venue allowed for us to really see how the quartet works together to create beautiful music. It was a wonderful complement to our musical learnings around Vienna. Highly recommend.
Absolutely wonderful. A pure pleasure to experience . No bad seats . And the Haus der Muzik is a nice place to visit outside of the concert.
It was purely magical. There were various pieces played and the performance was world class. I would definitely go again.

Beautiful music! The selection of music was perfect and the performance was masterful! It is a small venue so you can hear the sound so well. One hour is the perfect length for a taste of classical music.

We went to the house of music to listen to a quartet play Mozart, and Strauss. The place was small but good and the musicians created a good atmosphere and made you smile, laugh and cry. It was very good.

This was a live Vienna music postcard. We felt very special to be hosted by a chamber group of clearly very talented, professional musicians.
The choice of pieces was excellent for for all ages and excellent introduction to classical musical.
It felt like a tailor made mini New Year's concert in an intimmate setting.

After much research into which classical concert to book for my family while in Vienna, I am very pleased with my choice! We attended last night Sunday 8/16 performance.
I'm not very knowledgeable about classical music and found this string quartet extremely accessible. I loved being in an intimate setting and having the cellist introduce each piece with a bit of information and humor. I found one hour to be just the right length. The more knoweldgeable and discerning musicians in my family also felt that this was a high quality performance.
The venue was comfortably air-conditioned which was an important part of my choice to do this rather than a concert in a church.
We would have liked to have the program further in advance but that is not they way they operate. They did send it to us at 7PM, on the day of the concert.
I'll post here as a sample in case that is helpful to people, though the specific musicians and program varies I believe. Here is what I received one hour before the performance:

This concert was beautiful. The musicians are so talented. They played many songs that people would recognize and it’s only an hour so it leaves you wanting more. So happy we did this.

Look, when you're in Vienna you have to see a classical music concert at least once. We chose this at the last minute and didn't know what to expect from the House of Music. Category A vs B depends how close you want to be. Category A puts you in the first 2 rows in a room of 75-100 people. The stage reminds me of high school - one step away from the performers. Our quartet nailed 10 songs, half of which I was familiar with and the other half I thoroughly enjoyed. Great opportunity to hear wonderful music in an intimate setting over an hour. Would do it again.

Had tickets to the concert tonight. The quartet of ladies were fantastic. The concert is held in an intimate setting and you can feel the passion that the musicians bring to the music. When in Vienna go to concert halls if you must. But, do yourself a favor and don’t miss these dedicated musicians.

We all enjoyed the show! Everyone in the ensemble performed amazingly, with the rendition of each piece all great! What was particularly enjoyable was that each music was introduced and briefly explained and allowed for a bit of audience participation. It was an initmate show of great talent.

It's a must have experience in Vienna. The sound is divine and the musicians are masters. It was on our last evening in Vienna and what a treat it was to finish our stay with such a great performance. I would highly recommend this concert to everyone who visits Vienna.

We got the combo tickets for Mozart Museum and House of Music. Both are good experience but make sure you leave enough time for House of Music.
Fantastic musicians playing great classical music. Entertaining from beginning to end. Would recommend it to anyone.

The string quartet was absolutely riveting to hear and watch. Their performance brought tears to my eyes. There was so much passion from the individual artists as they shared the music from several classical artists. Highly recommend this quartet!
This performance was a string quartet, with two violins, a viola, and a cello. The musicians performed beautifully in a small, intimate space. Interaction with the audience was delightful!
If you prefer a less grand, more personal experience, I encourage you to attend a performance at Haus Der Musik.
Great little quartet concert. All the classics pieces. Totally adds to the experience of visiting Vienna. I had tears in my eyes as I was overwhelmed with emotion of the great music of the masters. Totally worth it!!
Absolutely wonderful concert with four virtuoso musicians. This is a bare bones small concert venue…simple stage, no fancy backdrops or costumes. Just four incredibly talented women (1st and 2nd violin; viola, and cello) playing some familiar music and some unfamiliar but delightful compositions. Highly recommend.
A very enjoyable concert for those who live classical music and those who may be experiencing it for the first time.
This concert is just 4 musicians in a small auditorium, yet it was absolutely wonderful and the musicians were fantastic.
