Viator is a sham….. awful

Complete waste of money as couldn’t get tickets with our voucher .. went to haus of industrie - they wouldn’t accept our “voucher” from Viator and told us we needed tickets - but couldn’t say where to go get them … so a waste of 200 euros as walked 1/2 hr , froze and couldn’t get in to see concert

Concert is good, VIP ticket not worth it

Wonderful evening of classical music

We enjoyed a talented 10 piece ensemble performing music from a number of different composers including Vivaldi, Strauss, and Mozart. Two of the songs were accompanied by a soprano, and a couple of the pieces featured a pair of dancers. It was our first evening in Vienna and certainly helped to set the tone for our visit.

Good performance but bad seat allocation

The terrible seat allocation system meant we were allocated seats to other people, even though we had paid for Gold seats. We ended up seated way back from the front, making the seat category a gimmick. Music performance and the singer made an outstanding performance. Overall a memorable experience.

Amazing Concert at the wrong venue...

While the music and performances from the dancers and singers was truly amazing and the conductor did a great job of engaging the crowd, the venue doesn't seem to suit this type of show. We read through some reviews indicating that seating didn't really make a difference but it truly does. We switched to this concert last min due to a late arriving flight the previous morning so there were only a few seats left available in the last few row. The stage cannot be more than 2 feet off the ground and the performers are nearly impossible to view from the rear of the room. I can't imagine anyone past rows 5/6 could clearly see all of the performers at all times. Those sitting up top not too close to the first rows also had prime viewing opportunities but the rest of us spent the concert with our heads peaking between the heads in front of us. A simple raised stage or a few risers for the singer would go a long way. The venue itself is stunning and you are able to capture photos before and after the concert but even then you have to stand or hover your camera high above the crowd for an unobstructed view.

It’s not the number of musicians but their motivation that counts.

Great experience! We paid for the Gold service and sat in thr 2nd row which was perfect to see the opera singer and dancers. Not sure I would be able to see it if I was further back as the seats in bronze seating as the seats all at the same height. Pick up of tickets was easy and at the same venue. Don't need to go that much earlier seats were a tad uncomfortable but was easily forgotten when the performance is that good! They even had a lot of funny moments and audience participation too.

Great concert … worrh the money. Come early, takes time to look at the theatre coz theyre too many plus viator dont have clear address on my phone. You have to deposit jacket n pay 1 euro. From metro station its about 10 mins walk

The concert was excellent. Just a note on improvement about the ticket pick-up: The ticket pick-up point indicated in Viator (House of Industry) was different from the place of the actual ticket pick-up and the concert (a church across the street). We spent quite some time in the windy, near-zero weather walking around the House of Industry, trying to find an entrance to the building. We met another family during our search, who was also finding the place to pick up the tickets. The experience would have been much better if VIator indicated the exact ticket pick-up location (the church) when we ordered the event, saving us and the other family walking on the street in the cold weather for almost 20 minutes, rushing to find the ticket pick-up when the concert was about to start.

We purchased VIP tickets and were front row seating. With our seats it was a more personal experience with the orchestra. The addition of vocal and ballet performances enhanced the evening. Very impressed with the concertmaster’s performance. A fun evening.

They played several pieces that I recognized from other venues (not live). Wonderful performance. My favorite was the Blue Danube Waltz. The dancers and the soloist only added to the evening. I had been to another venue 10 years ago. This performance far surpassed that one. Highly recommended.

Seeking Viennesse experience

Nice performance but lacked the Wow factor! The singer (Anna Ryan) was fabulous,but I felt the music drowned her voice. The musicans and dancers were great - created a nice atmosphre. Note: the seats are not elevated so if someone large is sat in front of you, you'll be watching them from behind for the duration of the performance. There's a compulsory jacket policy for additional €1 charge, just add or include it in the price - more annoying than anything.

I recommend this performance with all my heart.

A family of four, our kids are 12 & 15 yo, booked this concert during our visit to Vienna for Christmas. The venue is smallish, but cozy. The view is very good from all seats, so I see no reason to pay for front seats. The program was a light program for tourists, focused on the Christmas season. Classic Waltzes, Polkas and the odd pop song played joyfully by the orchestra. The orchestra was very good for my ears. I was aware that I was not attending a virtuoso concert, however the musicians were very professional. The percussionist was not precisely on time during the first few minutes but caught up just fine after he warmed up. A couple of ballet dancers performed during the Hungarian Dance and Blue Danube. Not something extraordinary, but pleasant for someone who doesn’t understand much about ballet. The soprano was very good on the two tracks she performed in. The maestro got the audience involved in a few tracks, there was interactivity up to the encore , the Radetzky March with the obvious rhythmic clap. In all , a fun experience which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Wrong address shared to redeem the tickets

The address to redeem the ticket was wrong. We were looking for the entrance for 20 minutes, we even found another group looking for the same concert. We were asking around, and luckily one guy in another theater knew about the concert and he could tell us the right address. We were late to the concert. Please fix the Viator redeem address. Otherwise the show is good.

Lovely performance, but not worth the VIP price

This experience was just ok. We paid for the VIP seats, and they were not worth it, in my opinion. Our tickets included a drink we thought we could get following the performance, but everything was cleared away. They also require you to pay to check your coat. To be clear, we don't mind paying, but it seems like that is something you would include with a VIP ticket. Or just include it in all the tickets, so you don't have to pay for another thing. If you choose this experience, stick with the cheap seats.

This orchestra was phenomenal. I had not expected to be as moved as I was by this performance. The concertmaster was so impressive and it was very apparent that he loved playing his violin. He was really emotive and quite a maestro. I loved this show and if I ever come back to Vienna I hope I will be able to attend again.

wir haben leider keine gute Bewertung. Grund: gebucht war fas Konzert für 25.09.2023 als Überraschung zum Hochzeitstag. Am 23.09.2023 sind wir in Wien angekommen. Nachmittags unternahmen wir eine kleine Tour und wollten auch den Spielort "Haus der Industrie-Schwarzenbergplatz 4 erkunden. Dabei trafen wir den Portier an, welcher uns auf Anfrage erklärte, dass dieses Konzert leider nicht stattfindet. Das machte uns doch sehr traurig und war für uns sehr ärgerlich. Eine Nachricht, dass dieses Konzert nicht stattfindet haben wir leider nicht erhalten. Auch auf meine telefonische Nachfrage unter der Tel.Nr.0043 15130139 erhielt ich keine Antwort. Das war natürlich nicht erfreulich und beeinflusste den ersten Eindruck sehr und drückte auf die Stimmung. Wir habens überstanden und haben das Beste daraus gemacht. Schade. Schade, aber nicht mehr zu ändern. Wir hoffen, dass andere Besucher nicht dieselbe Erfahrung machen müssen wie wir.
