This was a great experience! We were met at the airport with a charming young host who took very good care of us. She travelled with us from the airport to our hotel helping with luggage, answering any questions and talking to us about our trip. She was exceptional!

This is worth every penny when you are flying into a new city and have to figure out water transport as well as vehicular transport. Was met at the airport with a sign and then taken by van to a water taxi. What a beautiful way to enter the city!

Exceptional service and a comfortable ride. After exiting the luggage area, we were greeted by our driver, who was waiting with a sign displaying my name. The driver was courteous and assisted with carrying my luggage. The spacious Mercedes van provided a smooth and comfortable experience for all four of us. We were then driven to the pier for an effortless transfer to the water taxi, which took us directly to our hotel. While the price was on the higher side, the entire pickup and drop-off process was seamless and stress-free.

When we arrived we could jot see our contact and had to call the tour operator..only after we spoke did he show up..not sure why he as was not standing there like the others with our name board. Anyhow it was a very short drive to the private boat to Venice. This was wonderful. However it would be less expensive if you take the taxi boat from the airport..

When I called Luxor I was told that the original driver was there for almost an hour and left for another pickup We Landed at 6:32pm At 7:27pm we texted Luxor through the Viator ap that the luggage was coming out on the baggage carousel and that we would be out for the meet and greet in a minute At 7:31 we came out the doors by carousel number 3 and there was no Luxor driver there to meet us We called Luxor immediately and spoke with the woman who had called me and she told me the driver was waiting an hour and the driver abandoned us and left for another pickup Also, she said that she was trying to find another driver and did not know how long it would be - and when I asked for an explanation she hung up on me A few minutes later at about 7:45pm another driver named John called me and asked us to walk outside and meet him there which we did We booked with Viator so that we could be assured that a reliable company would be there to meet and greet us- not to be told that the driver left for another job My wife was in a wheelchair We paid about $260.00 for this pickup This is a disgraceful and totally unacceptable

You're lying. You received your transfer despite a one-hour wait. We inform you that Viator is already aware of your fraudulent attempt to obtain a refund for a service that was properly provided. We also inform you that we have already filed a complaint against you for defamation and attempted theft through our legal department.

Expensive transfer

My flight was delayed and I missed my connection. As soon as I had a new itinerary-I emailed the company with updated information. It was still 2 hours before original time. I was informed that they did not reschedule or do refunds. But I could book another transfer for $180. So it basically cost me $500 from Venice airport to hotel!! Unbelievable. Flights are cancelled or late all the time. I should not have been penalized for the delay. Plus the company had ample time to regroup. Will not be using this service again.

Late for Pick Up - Unclear Instructions for Seamless Pick Up

This was our first time using Viator and I wasn't impressed. The instructions provided to me where not very clear as to where we should go to have a seamless Pick up. I ended calling the contact person (3rd Party Company providing the service) and was first informed the driver was inside and had a sign. I went back inside and stay there a few minutes and again, no signage with our name or Viator's name. I called the company back to share this and then she tells me the driver is on his way and asked where we were. I explained we just existed the airport and standing near Entrance 3 which she asked for the number. She said to wait there and the driver would be coming. No driver and at this point it had been about 30 min and close to 45 min from time our plan landed. I called the company back and was told the driver was circling and would be there soon. No driver and another 15 min goes by. My phone rings and noticed it was from a number in Italy so I answered and it was a gentleman speaking Italian. My husband flagged a taxi driver who spoke English and had offered to take us to our destination because he noticed we had been waiting a long time. He translated the call and motioned to the driver where we were located. The driver was INSIDE the airport so not circling around as I was told. I understand that things may be delayed due to traffic but the communication was not very good from the person on the phone who appeared to be telling me things to satisfy me but I don't believe to be true and the driver or the dispatcher not communicating with one another as to where to pick us up because he obviously parked and went inside when we were told to remain outside in front of Entrance 3. I did tip the driver because he really tried to accommodate us once he picked us up. The language barrier was hard but I don't mind since we had Google Translate. Not a fun experience after a 10 hour flight waiting in the hot weather.

Great simple transportation. I had a really late night flight and did not want to deal with public transportation options which are great. But also wanted quiet after a long flight. False advertising

Please beware that this transfer is false advertising. The description states that they will save you the hassle of traveling through the cobble stone streets of Venice with your luggage and take it to your hotel. This is why I booked this transfer specifically for that reason. When we arrived at the airport the driver was waiting with a sign as promised, but the man was older and he could not even help us with our luggage into the van, I had to do it myself! After that he took us to the water taxi where I had to unload the luggage from his van and drag them down to the boat. Once at the boat there was two younger men who put the luggage on the boat for us and only one of them stayed on the boat to take is to our hotel. After a short boat ride we were dropped off on the side of a street. The boat driver handed us our luggage and that was it. I asked him where our hotel was and how to get there, he said around that corner and left us just standing there feeling totally lost. The hotel was not just around the corner but a few blocks away with several steps up and down to travel through. It was a horrible experience and not at all what was promised. I tried to make a complaint with Viator directly several times and I they would not help me. Please make sure if this has happened before to you to please post about it.

The drop off in Venice is at the nearest point to the Hotel. As you know Venice is on the water but NOT all Hotels are on the water and most of them are not directly reachable by boat. Driver arrived late. We met him on the curb. He did not assist much at all with luggage. This is not the type of service we paid for. It is not the type of service we are accustomed to. Bo assistance getting luggage in the water taxi. In fact, the driver left before our taxi even arrived dockside. Very disappointed that our arrival in Venice was not at all as planned. We avoided all the confusion & possible pick-pockets lining up for the bus entailed. Our limo driver was waiting for us at the airport with a sign with our name on it as promised. He welcomed us to Venice and pointed out the landmarks on the way to our boat taxi. He took our luggage right to the boat then handed it to the boat captain. He & the boat taxi driver helped us on board. We scooted off on the canals directly to our hotel. Our luggage and ourselves were deposited on the dock attached to our hotel property… no muss or fuss. The sun was shining as we enjoyed our first view of Venice and Italy from a lovely speed boat.
