Mattias was awesome. He went above and beyond a mere airport transfer. He took us from Venice to Trieste which was a 45-minute drive. Along the way, he told us about the areas we would be visiting including his hometown of Koper, Slovenia. A very nice young man.

Pickup details

We pick you up at the Marco Polo Airport (VCE) in Venice. Passengers are picked up on the parking place called "Sosta Breve (scoperto)" located 20 meters from the airport terminal (check 4th photo) and droped off at hotel / appartment / hostel / bus station in Trieste or in it's neighbourhoods. The vehicle is brand new white coloured Ford Transit Custom (van) with Slovenian licence plates. It is recomended to phone-ring / call or send SMS the driver upon the arrival on the terminal (also possible via Whatsapp) Alternative meeting point is by the door exit no. 1 (check last photo)

Trieste city center and it's neighbourhoods. If the drop-off adress, doesn't have a possibility to safely stop & park in-front, we will try to get as close as possible. But cannot guarantee direct pin-point drop-off if the previous mentioned condition is not met

What To Expect

Your transfer begins at the “Sosta Breve (scoperto)” parking spot about 65 feet (20 meters) from the Marco Polo Airport arrival terminal.

On arrival, call or send a text to your driver, and look out for a white Ford Transit Custom van with Slovenian license plates.

With this small-group transfer, you have the benefit of waiting no more than 30 minutes for other passengers from the same flight before heading out for Trieste.

Board your air-conditioned van and head out of the airport, zipping past travelers taking slower public buses and trains, and reach the coastal city of Trieste near the Slovenian border in about 1.5 hours.

Then, you’re dropped off directly in front of any hotel or private address within Trieste.

Grega is amazing! He provided so much interesting information on the drive from the Venice airport to Trieste. Our flight was pushed back 2 hours, instead of cancelling our reservation Grega came up with a creative solution to still transport us and the later customer’s arrival. He offered to drop us off in Venice for some sightseeing while we waited for the other customer to arrive. He kept our bags safe in the van so we didn’t have to carry them while sightseeing. He also provided a lot of information about the neighboring countries which has now added to my travel wishlist. I highly recommend booking his service and will absolutely book again on my next trip. Grega did a great job on the transfer. He was on time and met us exactly where he had explained in the instructions. In addition, he did everything he could to find us a tour the next day to Slovenia, when a completely different tour company cancelled at the last minute. Even though he was personally already booked for that day, he called around to all the other tour operators he knew and was able to find us a tour.
