Very well executed introduction by professionals

The class takes place in an authentic Dojo by professional Kendo practitioners. Do not be fooled by their young age - like many serious martial artists, they start training at a very young age. The main guide, Daichi-san, is extremely fluent in English and covers the introduction in a well laid out manner. I happened to join a session with another tourist that happens to be an overseas Kendo practitioners. She recognise the authenticity of the experience and they hold nothing back during a bout with the teacher. If you want a taste of Japanese culture and want to avoid tourist traps, this is a great way to do!
