Make a custom Daruma doll with a great teacher!

This was a wonderful and delightful experience! It was extremely pleasant. The English was great. The process was broken down into simple steps. If you want a custom Daruma doll from Japan, the best way is to make it yourself from a great teacher!

What a wonderful experience in a peaceful studio in Tokyo! Ms. Tomomi was so sweet and friendly; she made little kits for the two in our party who couldn’t come because they were sick as she didn’t want them to miss out. She was a wonderful teacher and host, and I will forever experience the memory and the daruma I made during the class. Thank you so much!

Relaxing creative experience

Tomomi was a great guide and teacher in our class! She was very pleasant and patient with us, and served us green tea and snacks. Overall, a great and relaxing experience in the heart of Tokyo, this is a must-do in Japan!

If you like making crafts, this experience is awesome. You learn about daruma dolls and your humbling (non?) artistic skills (LOL) but this workshop will be one of the best memories we have of Japan. Tomomi was great! We plan to bring our granddaughter here when we return to Tokyo.

Loved the family activity

Was looking for different activities for my family to do while in Tokyo to break up some of the sightseeing, eating and shopping. This was the perfect activity and each person in our family loved it, plus we left with a souvenir that has more meaning because we made it together. Tomomi (the owner) was wonderful, friendly and a great instructor. Would recommend to families traveling to tokyo!!

Calming activity in a sea of mad shopping

We were a bit overwhelmed with shopping and wanted to do something calming and away from the crowd. We hit a gem with this place! The owner, Tomomi, was the kindest and sweetest! She told us about the history of Daruma, taught us how to decorate one, and showed us what the different face markings symbolize. She also fed us green tea and snacks and gave us very cute parting gifts. The whole experience was just so great for us and our teenage girls.
