Jacquemot was a great guide! His knowledge of the craters and Volcano Etna was immense. Make sure you have a good fitness level especially in the Winter. Snowshoeing up to 2800m is very hard work!

We arrived on Mount Etna after several days of rain on the plain: so it was covered with snow. Plan socks from.recahge, a possible budget shoe rental. Otherwise, it was great! The volcano was pristine white and the craters were accessible. A nice hike (you have to be fit) that we recommend!!! Congratulations to Antonio our guide who also made the necessary to find a driver to drive us from Catania.
