Most memorable I would say is that we were never picked up for this activity even calling the operator numerous times, no email response through viator app, viator supervisor failed to secure a pick up from alternative location or meeting point- email promised it would be sorted out. Well we missed it the event and at almost $1000 USD the customer service was less than stellar. Per the description it states “you’ll first enjoy a scenic train journey… “ this needs to be reworded that you take a ride in a car service to the winery

Sorry to read that you are disappointed because of a tour that is not operated the way you decide. We did our best to arrange the tour despite of a different schedule and departure point: nonetheless you informed us that you didn't want to take any car. But in the tour page you can clearly read: "The railway service starts either in Catania or in Riposto and always terminates in Randazzo (duration is 2 hours). […] In Randazzo, our guests will be driven to the close winery". While we try to understand your disappointment, we can't accomodate all changes of mind. You leave one star review because you didn't get something that wasn't in the tour and you wanted it however. Fortunately we have many positive reviews from people who didn't ask for the moon, though we always do our best to deliver the moon too.
