Visit Etna!

We had a great time seeing Etna! Etna is really worth a visit. (Independent if you choose this tour, a different one or you walk up yourself) Some comments: The tour was organized very well. In total the tour costs around 95€. (Tour guide+Cable Car+Bus) If you really want to save some money and don’t go with a tour: Don’t skip the Cable Car!! It brings you far up the mountain. Don’t underestimate it! Currently you can not go to the central crater. Etna is already to active. You will receive an Email from the guide that going up to the central crater is not possible. They write this the day before the tour. Cancellation is just possible until 24h before the tour...therefore this makes sense for the guides to write this just the day before. Would be nice to know this earlier. The vulcanic activity goes on already for a longer time. So probably you stop before the central crater too. Conclusion: Visit the Etna! Book this or another tour. (This one costs in total a similar price than the others) If you want to visit Etna yourself: Use the cable car!! You will see why 😉You can skip the bus on top and just hike.
