There are very few places on earth you can see art made by humans 10000 years ago. This is one of them. It's humbling and amazing. I have been twice now and will come again. They do a great job of showing you what can be seen and explaining honestly what can and cannot be known about our ancient ancestors. This is not a massive mural of mammoths and sabre toothed tigers. The drawings are small, basic, and mostly horses. But they were painted during the Ice Age or before. If that's not enough, I don't know what is.

Visit was interesting and the guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned a lot. The rock art as such was very subtle and not very numerous. It might be good to include some of the artifacts that we first found in the visit. The interpretation center was very nice. Thelma (our driver) was great.
