Too much ancient history

The tour guide though knowledgeable and personable relied too much on discussions of ancient Portuguese history His presentation was more along the lines of a college seminar. I Was looking more for enlightenment on current Portuguese culture, political thought, and current events. Iwas disappointed

We had a great time on the tour. The cork forests and monoliths were super interesting in themselves and I also enjoyed learning about the area’s history and culture. João really knows his stuff and is a delight.

We had a great tour. Joao’s knowledge of Evora history was very impressive. Brought knowledge of Portuguese history and how it reflected on the development of Evora. Very well spent 2.5 hours, learned a lot about the history and culture. Highly recommend!!! Joao is very personable and with the great sense of humor.
