- Look for the RT&T (Roatan Trips and Tours) sign and there you will be greeted by one of our staff who will have your name on a list and ready to present you to your tour guide and driver for the day.

- Town center Coxen Hole port As you exit the ship walk and pass all the main shopping areas that will be on your right turn to the right where you see some sales kiosk (they are very aggresive trying to get you go with them for tours, just say you are book online with Steve Bush and they will back off, keep walking towards the exit gates to the main street as you exit the gates Gate(3,2 or 1) in front of cemetery , right accross the street look to the right, you will see lots of people with signs just look for ours (RT&T) Roatan Trips and Tours,and our staff will assist you to start your tour, if you have any difficulties finding us just ask any of the local business or security guys where the exit to the main street is.

The travel company on Roatan did not have an official office or place to meet. We found the driver on the street with many other men looking for tour participants after asking for directions several times. While our driver was friendly enough, he took us to only one of the spots we requested. The beach stop cost us $50 which we did not know ahead of time. It was not the location we thought. It was mediocre at best for that price. Rain early did not help with our experience either. I would not recommend this tour.

Steven Bush was our Driver. He was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and gave us a great tour. We learned much about the life on Roatan. It was clear Steven was very proud about his heritage and cared about his community.

Do not take this tour - Roatan Trip and Tours is not a reliable operator. They failed to inform us where and what time to meet once we got off the cruise ship. We wondered around for 45 minutes in port trying to find them. We did not get what we paid for and they refuse a refund. We reserved a 4 person tour for 5 hours and customized. Once we found where to go, we got on a bus with 45 other and drove for 2 hours to 4 souvenir shops and then back to the cruise port. The other couple we booked with didn't even make to the bus. They sent emails asking what ship we were on while we where already onboard without internet or cell service. If they need the name of the ship, then put it in the reservations details while making the booking, not after the cruise starts. They were not flexible to work with and claimed we accepted a land/sea tour which was never the case. The driver said he would work it out with his manager to get us what we booked, but that never happened. Viator never communicated that the tour was being run by Third party, so we went searching for a Viator representative when we got to Roatan, but no one was there to help us - they failed us. Extremely poor communication on Viator and Roatan Trips and Tours. If you only want to shop for souvenirs and do nothing and see nothing this is for you, but not what we paid $220 for.

Hi, thank you for letting us know your thoughts on this experience with us. I must say it’s very shameful and disappointing that you are not being honest in your statement there, and I would like to share some details on what you should do so this doesn’t happen again.
1. You booked with us and stated a date but never let us know what ship and what port, since we have two ports on the island.
2. You arrived super late—over 3 hours after the ship arrived. My staff was waiting, and you never showed up. After a long wait, the driver we assigned for you left, and when you showed up, we told you that it was too late.
3. The next tour we had leaving at the time you arrived was our Land and Sea tour on a bus with 11 passengers (which can fit 14), and with you and your family, the total was 11—not 45. There are no 45-passenger buses on the island; we have such narrow roads, so I know for sure you're not being honest. You accepted to take this tour since you showed up so late. We totally explained what the tour was about, and after knowing all details, you accepted and participated.
4. Don’t participate in a tour if you know it wasn’t what you paid for, because you participated and did all the activities on this tour—and now you want a refund. That isn’t considered fair to us.
5. We offered to call back your original driver that we had assigned for you, but we told you it was going to take approximately 20 minutes for him to arrive. You didn’t want to wait, and this was why you accepted the other tour.
I understand this is the only way you can get back at us by writing a bad review, but please just be honest next time and say what really happened—don’t make us look so bad in your review.

Excellent service. Met us right outside the port on time. Car was clean, well air conditioned, comfortable. We had specific places we wanted to visit and the driver tried to get us to set up guides with other companies and change our schedule, which I didn't love. I had to be more firm than I would have preferred to get him to take us where we wanted to go and when, but I do understand they're trying to funnel money into tourism on the island. The driver was professional, respectful, knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely use them again in the future, knowing that you need to be somewhat assertive if you already have a clear plan in mind.

You have the freedom to direct the entire tour for your personal enjoyment. Driver/guide was great. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the lunch stop in West End. The restaurant, chosen by our driver because we didn’t have a preference, was extremely slow, service was awful and food was mediocre. You should decide a restaurant of your choosing beforehand and let your driver take you there. All in all a good experience.

The tour and drivers' knowledge of the island was very good. The vehicle was terrible. The windows were filthy. We requested they be cleaned at a gas station. The back passenger window would not go up so the person in that seat was in the sun all day. The other back window tinting was hard to see through (tinting separating from the window). The front passenger floor was dripping water on my feet---assuming from the air conditioner. The picture in the advertisement shows a van. We were in a 4 door SUV. Lastly, we wanted to snorkel at one of the beaches but the only way you can do that is schedule through viator.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide was Steve Bush Jr. Steve was a fantastic tour guide and we highly recommend him. He took us wherever we wanted to go and he had excellent recommendations for restaurants etc. We'd definitely do this tour again!!

We had a wonderful day with Suzeth. She recommended lunch at a restaurant on the beach which had amazing fish tacos and we got to detour to a few stops we wanted to make along the way. I highly recommend and even the most hard to please members felt it was well with the $$.

This was my third time going to Roatan on a cruise, but my first time with a personal guide/driver. I highly suggest you go with a personal driver! The cruise line treats you like cattle and you waste SO much time standing in lines to transport everyone. You can’t stop anywhere extra when you book through the cruise lines and it’s so much better to get advice from the locals! We had Jr. Frazer as our driver and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He was waiting for us when we got off the ship and we drove around in a nice comfortable car. We got his honest advice of the best places to go. We went to see some monkeys and sloths and I sadly didn’t get my picture taken with the monkey with all the people that were there. I let him know I was bummed out about it and he talked to the guys that worked there and made sure I got my picture! He told us all about the island and the different things we should try while we were there. We made a pit stop so we could try some local beer. We also stopped at the rum distillery so we could purchase the delicious rum. He took us to a beautiful beach where my husband could snorkel. Our belongings were safe in his car so no worries there. He recommended a GREAT place for lunch! I can not recommend this guy enough! When we go back I hope he is still there :)

We spent a half day in Roatan, visiting the sloth adventure and the zip line and had a great time. We travelled with twelve grandchildren aged 7-15, and everyone had a wonderful time. The only unfortunate thing was having to wait an hour to get on the zip line, but at the end of the day we all had a great time.

George was fantastic. Brought us to all of the places that we asked. He knows everyone at the sites and got us to the front of the line at all places- chocolate factory, sloths/ monkeys, beach resort.

Johnathan was our driver and he was fantastic! Even though we had a general plan of what we wanted to do and see, he provided valuable information about the island that made our choices that much easier! And organizing this adventure was super easy with the help of Mr. Bush using Whatsapp. Great communicator and easy to talk to.

Building our own tour was the best idea! It was just my husband and me and our guide Lucas and it was a pleasure hearing about life on Roatan and the cultural differences between the island and Honduras. We chose to go to the wildlife refuge so I could hold a sloth and see the monkeys and we also stopped at the rum and chocolate shops. We grabbed lunch at roadside stand and enjoyed the best meal we’d had so far! Thank you, Lucas, for a fabulous day!

We were picked up from right outside the cruise terminal. Everything was easy and we quickly found our driver. All day he was very knowledgeable and drove us safely around the island to our designated destinations. He was very helpful all the time. We asked to be taken to West Bay beach. Unfortunately we were driven to a beach club where the driven had some agreement. The beach club was not nice. Make sure to specify where you want to go. Even the beach.

Kenson, our guide and driver, was THE BEST! We visited the animals and were able to interact/hold the macaw, sloths, and monkeys with Eddie (who was also great!). Chocolate factory and rum stops and then to a beautiful beach to snorkel. Kenson was very knowledgeable, polite, and personable!!! We couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience that Junior Frazer provided our family while we were in port for the day! We designed a tour that would accommodate the 2 80-year olds in our group and Junior delivered! By requesting a stop at the cameo factory (one of only 10 in the world and the only one in the Americas - you MUST go!), we also provided Junior with a new experience. 😊 We traveled the island to get a feel for the economy, the culture, the politics, the tourism, the food, the lifestyle and more…. It was fascinating. We had opportunities throughout the day to experience Roatan, to snorkel at a beautiful resort (don’t miss snorkeling!), take pictures and to have a great experience with local cuisine……the fresh RED SNAPPER…..heavenly. Junior even suggested a local beer for my husband and my umbrella drink 🍹 was divine. This was, by far, the best experience of our 8-day cruise and we will always fondly remember Roatan as a result. I highly recommend Roatan Trips & Tours……and Junior Frazer can’t be beat! 😊

We were able to do everything we wanted in Roatan with our fun guide Araña. We wanted to avoid the crowded touristy things, and she took us to the local spots for fun and sun. She was also easy to find at the port. A super fun day, I would do it again!

Jorge with Roatan Trips and Tours was fantastic. We visited the monkey park, Gio’s restaurant (food was fantastic!), chocolate company, and West Bay. Jorge even gave us some island history while driving us. We loved every minute.

Did not start well. Was able to locate the person coordinating things with help of other island residents. Our driver was 30 minutes late and no good place to wait. Very hot & humid. The driver was polite and courteous. Comfortable vehicle. We requested to go to Gumbalimba Park, the chocolate factory, eat at a local restaurant where locals eat, visit a beach to snorkel (suggested 2 beaches for that), visit a local craft market, and a fruit stand. We visited a small market in a location where we could see the ship, then to Gumbalimba Park, only did the tour and left. May have liked the beach or the botanical gardens there. We went to the chocolate factory, then paid $15 Each to go to a beach and a place to eat for about 1.5 hrs. We had lunch which was not local food and was expensive, $40 for 2 lemonades (not fresh) and a shared sandwich with a scoop of rice and beans. The beach was small, not scenic, and not good for snorkeling or swimming. We did not go to a fruit stand even though there was time. I was disappointed.

We had an absolutely delightful time on our tour of Roatan with Tristan of RTT. The experience was professional yet customized to our needs as history buffs. Tristan got us everything we needed and we were very happy with the company and especially him. I highly recommend you request him on your visit.

There was some confusion about my tour as I was added to another one. Everyone was polio. Driver ran air in van while I was waiting. Tour leader and driver were very friendly. They adapted the tour as it was raining.

Roatan is a beautiful island with lots of beautiful people; we were very much impressed. Steve Bush, the RT &T "man in charge", emailed us a few weeks ahead, an incredibly detailed map and directions on how to find them when we arrived in port! It made life so much easier! Joshua, our tour guide and driver, was just plain AWESOME!!! A very bright and intuitive young man with a true global view, he made the day. He loves his island and it was clear in all he told us and showed us! Not only was he smart and knowledgeable, he loves people and this could be seen as he interacted with not only us but all those he came into contact with throughout the day! This was a wonderful experience and I am so grateful we were able to take this tour! P.S. I got to hold Charlie, the sweet girl sloth, and it was very special!

Sherna was our guide and she was amazing. She took us to the sloth and monkey sanctuary. We also went to Paradise Beach club. The beach is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend Rt&T tours.

Our driver Joshua made our visit to Roatan very enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about his beautiful island. He took us where we wanted to go and also out of the way places that you usually don’t get to see with other excursion companies. When we go back we definitely will do this again and request Joshua. The directions we were given to find them were easy to follow and I recommend you take a taxi for $2.00 a person outside the gates and they’ll take you right to your driver. I recommend this for anyone who has mobility difficulties, they were able to accommodate my mobility scooter.Thanks again Joshua we already miss you. Next time we plan on bringing Famous Amos Cookies for the kids that dance along the road.
