We will be at the bottom of the hill with a sign that reads Real Deal. For Coxen Hole: Exit to port Parking lot and exit through Gate 1, we will be there with our sign of Real Deal

This was a great way to see the city for a short day off the cruise ship. We hit the highlights (the sloths and monkeys!) and had some shopping and tasting too. Our group was well taken care of by our guide who is a local and very accommodating. Highly recommend for the whole family!

We booked this tour separate from our cruise ship and were so glad we did! It ended up being just the two of us on the tour, and we felt like VIP guests the whole time. We were able to spend as much time as we wanted at each stop. Even though the weather was rainy, we managed to dodge every torrential downpour, thanks to our guide. We also learned a TON about Honduras because of our knowledgeable guide. We were so happy we booked this separate from our cruise ship!

We had an enjoyable tour yesterday with our guide Johan. There was a minor delay at the start. We believe he initially went to the Mohegan Bay pier instead of Coxen Hole, which caused a brief delay in the pickup. I contacted the tour operator through the Viator app, and Johan responded via text, saying he would arrive in about 10 minutes. In total, we waited approximately 25 minutes from disembarking the cruise ship until we met up with him. Once we connected, everything proceeded smoothly. Our first stop was the sloths and monkey sanctuary, where we observed various animals in open enclosures. Next, we visited West End for a guided tour of the Chocolate Factory, learning about the chocolate-making process from bean to bar. Afterwards, we toured the rum factory, where we learned about local rum production and sampled some products. Our final stop was at the Roatan sign for photos before heading back to the ship. Johan was both informative and engaging, making the experience more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Johan was an incredible tour guide! Johan guided our group through torrential rains for a personal tour that included the sloth/monkey preserve, rum factory, chocolate factory, and even a short stop by his home and his church. We enjoyed hearing about his personal story, his ministry, and most of all the beautiful island of Roatan. It rained the entire time we were there and will most definitely visit again when we can see the island in the sunshine. Thanks Johan for an unforgettable tour!

Great tour - we have an awesome time. Our tour guide Dereck was very educated and professional. With a tween, we told Dereck to focused on the monkey/sloths and the chocolate factory along with skipping the rum factory (we are not big drinkers). Highly recommend Real Deal Tours on your next trip.

We originally booked this experience because the Sloth/Monkey tour through our cruise line was fully booked but in the end, we could not have been happier! This day was one of our absolute favourites of our entire vacation; entirely because of the experience given to us by our drivers. We were met at the cruise terminal by Isis and Jose (a husband and wife team) who immediately took us to the private, air conditioned, van (that easily fit 4 adults and two children) that we’d be using for the length of the tour. We then made our way to the Rum factory, the chocolate factory and finally the animal sanctuary. At the animal sanctuary, we got to have our pictures taken with Michael the monkey and snuggle with a sloth; that was the most amazing part of our adventure! Throughout the day, Isis shared her wealth of knowledge about Roatan and easily answered all of our questions about island living. We learned about their family, culture and all the amazing things they’re doing to help those in need; including building houses through an organization called Dwellings Now. This entire tour was personal, relaxing and beyond worth the money we paid. We happily gave an additional tip directly to Isis and Jose at the end of the tour and highly recommend this tour to anyone who may be considering it!

Our excursion was great! The tour driver, Emilo I think was his name, was easy to find and took great care of us. Answered all our questions about life on Roatan. Getting to hold Sid the Sloth was so cool. The monkeys were fun to interact with as well.

The activity itself was amazing! The guide (Patrick) was great and the animals were so fun! Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour in the 100* sun to go back with the animals. Just be prepared with a fan, water, etc. If we had known ahead of time it would have been a much better experience. Also, drinks and souveniers can only be paid for with cash.

Driver was a great guy. Knew his island history and very interesting facts. Very safe and courteous.
Definitely recommend to anybody that wants a very informative tour of the island, and would love to see the sloths, monkeys, and animal life.
The chocolate factory and rum factory were great additions to the tour.

We weren’t able to dock due to wind and apparently there’s no clause for this in the refund policy. Not a big deal but seems like it would be the right thing to do.

Everything was great. We were picked up by Allan and took us on a tour of the island and then to the Sloth farm and then the chocolate factory and the Rum factory. It was a good time and could have gone to other places but we were happy with what we had seen and wanted to head back to the cruise ship.

We met Emerson at 9AM in the port of Roatan. Then we had a four hour long guided tour in Roatan, such a nice and wonderful tour we got. Will remember this tour for the rest of my life. The interactions with sloths and monkeys were absolutely amazing. Emerson knows everything which is worth knowing about Roatan, so you are in the best hands of you choose a guided tour with him. I was in heaven, the spider monkeys were so cute jumping on and off of us all, and the n the sloths, OMG, how adorable, and soft. You truly want to just take them home. It was a wonderful experience. Would do it again

We had a wonderful tour!! Our guide, Boogie, was wonderful. He stopped for us to visit the chocolate factory, go shopping a bit and of course the sloth adventure. We had a great time! I would highly recommend him!! Five stars for sure.
