Our tour guy Ed was great!! The experience was really “build your own” he was knowledgeable of the best photo ops of the island, took us to have a unique dish of iguana for lunch, the zip lining was the longest I’ve ever down and beautiful through the jungle! Ed was personable and a great driver.

Private tour in Roatan
We booked a private tour because we wanted some extra flexibility and Jodie did such an excellent job escorting us around the island! She answered all my questions (and I ask a TON of them!) and she knew the right timing to visit these spots so we would miss the busiest times. She even watched our stuff while at the beach so we could leave our things and watch the beach. We felt so safe and cared for. We would kost definitely use Tucan Tours again! Thank you Jodie!

The absolute best of Roatan
So sorry for the delay in this review for Roatan Tucan Adventures on March 3, 2026. We arrived home on the afternoon of March 10 and both my wife and I came down with terrible colds, cough, fever. Not noro or covid thankfully but up and about now and wanted to express our sincere thanks to David our excursion host and to Roatan Tucan Adventures. They were truly the best. And after 38 cruises and multiple excursions I do not remember anyone better. The details of the excursion, the instructions leading up to the excursion were spot on. David did everything to make sure this was not just a ride to different spots on the island. He gave such an education while driving, while stopped, answering questions, and never once did we feel he wasn’t paying attention to his driving. This was truly the most enjoyable, best value, excursion I can remember taking. We all, the 4 of us, couldn’t stop talking about all we experienced once back on the ship. My best to everyone involved with Roatan Tucan Adventures.

Amazing driver Darin...
Amazing driver Darin (Young Tiro). Extremely informative and such a delight to speak to. He really made the experience memorable. The ride was comfortable and the view up at the top where the rum factory is the place to get the perfect shot. My kids are still talking about it days later. The beach club was great, the water so clear and beautiful. Much better than Mahahual. No one haggling or stalking you to buy things. Michelle Obama at the sanctuary was a delight. She was so funny and went the extra mile for everyone and made sure our group got the perfect shot. 10/10 would recommend. Can't wait to be back.

4 Wheeler Sloth Bird Monkey Tour
This was great. 4 wheelers are what we always expect on these. You follow like a train so never get to really go. However seeing the villages and local people was nice. New laws don’t let you hold or touch the sloths. So site should reflect that. The birds and monkeys were fun and hilarious to interact with

Amazing tour guide
The experience was amazing from the moment we were picked up by Tony! He was extremely respectful and very knowledgeable about everything. If I ever have the time to go back, I would definitely want him to be my tour guide again. The ATV team was incredible. They told me how to ride an ATV the same day. They were very knowledgeable, patient and super cool

My daughter and I had our...
My daughter and I had our own private tour with Mamma Rose. She shared her story of growing up in Roatan, what life was like for her and her family and took us on a lovely tour. The zip-line and chocolate factory were wonderful. We felt very safe and she was kind and thoughtful. I would recommend this tour especially driving with Momma Rose.

Excellent Co. and driver!
Booking was easy. Met up with company just outside the cruise terminal and had Said as our driver. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Took us to do all the things that we wanted to do and got us back to the cruise terminal by the time requested. Well worth it and would recommend this company and this driver!

A+ Day! A must-do excursion!
We were super excited to zip line again! We had done in once before in Roatan and definitely wanted to do it again! Fantastic! After that we were brought to ride the ATVs. That was very fun! Soak and wet, filthy dirty, and laughing the whole time! You follow the guide around a man made course, huge puddles, lots of mud, and a great photographer at every corner. The whole package of a LOT of pictures was only$30. They take a before and after picture of you. Clean and dirty. It was really a blast! Then, just when we thought our day was over, we were surprised by the zoo! You can have your picture taken with a sloth, have a capuchin monkey climb onto your shoulder, hold a macaw on your arm, cross a sweet suspension bridge and more! So worth the cost to have such an amazing experience!

Zip Line and Beach Experience
After we walked out the port to meet them outside of Gate 1, they had red shirts on that said Anderson tours. One of them walked us to the zip line area which was not that far. We felt safe the entire time zip lining. The workers were all trained and made sure to care for everyone in our group. Afterwards, we had a tour of the animals in the same place. We saw monkeys, guinea pigs, a sloth, a macaw, and a few other animals. Then they set us up with a driver and vehicle that took our group to see the chocolate factory, we stopped at a shop and then he took us to the beach. We had a fun experience even though we zipped lined in the rain. We could’ve just walked off the ship to the zip line for $50, but the $15 extra to go to the beach was worth it. It was a nice calm beach to go to.

Awesome service, great zipline activity, and amazing beach.
Great experience. Parking lot to meet vendor was not a far walk from the mahogany bay carnival port. Guides were experienced and very helpful. They took my kids (9, 7, and 5) down the zipline with them safely. Adults also had fun going down themselves. Driver and van was good, was about a 30 min ride from the port. Beach experience was awesome as well, took us to nice private beach at a resort, which also had a shaded pool, bathrooms, and outdoor shower station. Beach was less than 5 mins from zipline area. Would definitely book again.
