View is incredible. About an hour hike each way so dress properly. Site is a bit outside the city as well but view is worth it.

Caio and his dog were incredible guides and truly made my hike a zen experience to reconnect with mother nature!
Caio was communicative a few days ahead giving me a heads up on what to expect and provided recommendations. I had a smooth pick up from the driver and it was a beautiful drive mostly along coast and then up the mountain.
Caio and I had great meaningful conversations up and down the hike, which helped to keep us moving along especially when path was steep and tougher.
What started to be a clear morning was interrupted with some dark clouds and rain. Most of our hike up was under some drizzle but not bad at all. Bring a wind breaker or light water resistance jacket if you want to keep warm and dry. When we got to the top, the sun decided it was time to make an appearance, dry things up, and give us spectacular views of Rio’s gorgeous coastline and forest.
Caio is also a fantastic photographer and took many awesome shots, some including his dog. The photoshoot was so much fun especially hanging from the stone and being saved by the dog! Then, I had my zen moment soaking in the view and experience, while reflecting on my own life. I took deep long breathes and found my happy space. Thank you Caio for the memories!

Caio was an amazing guide! I recommend this hike with him very highly. He knows the route very well - but also knows when to get there, where the best photos are, etc. Really can’t imagine doing this hike without his guidance. Caio was also super helpful with other aspects of our trip to Rio. He had recommendations for best place to see the sunset and was able to help us arrange a city tour and unforgettable trip to Ilha Grande. A great guide like Caio really makes all the difference!

This hike took about 30 minutes to reach the top, but don’t let the time fool you—it’s not beginner friendly. The path was steep and challenging, so come prepared. That said, the payoff was absolutely incredible. The views were breathtaking, especially watching the sunrise from the summit. Totally surreal. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the group motivated the whole way. If you’re up for a short but intense climb, this experience is unforgettable.

Amazing experience! Where do I begin? This was quite an adventure! I’m so happy that Caio’s tour starts a little earlier than the masses and the driver was on time so I was able to get some amazing photographs and not have to wait in a long line. Not only was Caio a great guide on the tour, but he gives awesome recommendations for things to do in Rio and knows a lot of people in the area. If you are interested in something to do, contact him and he finds the right people! You get an entire package in one person. I am a solo traveler and he is very friendly and comfortable to be around. I only know a few words in Portuguese, but he is fluent in English. The entire experience was 10/10. Highly recommended!!

Activity starts with a hike to the Telegraph stone, followed by a small photoshoot session. We went the opposite side on our wayt back to watch the sunset. Experience was pleasant. I highly recommend for first timers.

Caio was great. I booked this the afternoon before the morning hike was scheduled and heard from him that evening to confirm details. He met me at the trailhead after sending a driver and we had a great, but challenging hike up. You can stop as frequently as needed, but we made it up in about 40 mins. He’s clearly passionate about his work which made the conversation flow! Amazing views and he made sure to capture pictures in all of the right spots along the hike. Make sure you bring your water!

Hands down, the best experience while in Rio! Caio was amazing! I did the sunrise tour and it was phenomenal. Caio is a phenomenal conversationalist and made the hike fun! Also, his photography skills are A1! Top tier! He gave great insight on the best poses. I turned 30 and this trip to Rio was a solo trip to celebrate, as well as my first in South America. This experience will always be the highlight. If you’re looking to do this, don’t even overthink it. Caio is the way to go!

We were originally scheduled to do this hike later in the morning but our booking was changed to the sunrise experience (possibly due to the weather forecast for our original time) while it was still dark out. If you aren't accustomed to climbing over large rocks and tree roots and walking up and down steep and somewhat slippery inclines, think twice about doing this without more than a flashlight. I used walking sticks and wished I had brought my head lamp! We were told it was an easy climb, and for my 40-year-old daughter, it was. For me, it was a difficult climb so I was so grateful for our guide, Daniel, who helped me a lot. We were drenched by the time we got to the top because of the humidity, but because of the early start time we didn't have to wait long for our turn to take pictures. There was no sunrise because of the clouds, which was disappointing but we understand you can't control the weather. My daughter was happy to get pictures of marmosets and toucans, and even though I was nervous about falling almost the entire hike, I did enjoy doing this excursion.

This was an amazing experience. My friend and I went with the guide Caio. The excursion starts really early in the morning and you just drive into the forest so it felt a little scary at first but it’s a wonderful experience. The hike was a bit fast paced but we are fit people so it was a challenging and exciting hike. Make sure to bring and douse yourself in insect repellent, that is a NON NEGOTIABLE. There are so many flies as you do the hike and are around there.
Caio is a wonderful guide and is an amazing photographer. He really cares to make sure he gets the best pictures and deliver a cool experience!

Caio was amazing. He communicated with us before the tour and kept us informed about all the necessary details. The hike was certainly a lot harder than anticipated - although I assume that people with a good level of fitness will find it relatively easy. Caio was extremely patient throughout the hike and certainly made it a lot easier by chatting and helping me along the way! Despite being a bit tough for me, I have absolutely no regrets - it was so incredibly worth it - especially doing the sunrise hike - and I am so pleased that we chose to do this hike with Caio on our short visit to Rio.

The hike is *no joke* so be prepared for that! It’s definitely steep. We did the sunrise hike, so come with a flashlight because it was still dark when we started out. But Caio definitely knows his way around—he’s a great guide and knows exactly how to get the best photos too! Once we got to the top and watched the sunrise…. Worth every huff and puff on the way up. Caio is super knowledgeable about Rio in general and taught us a lot. 10/10 would suggest (bring water, a flashlight and layers!)

This was the most memorable part of my trip to Rio. I took the sunrise option and couldn’t recommend more. My guide booked me a driver for around 3am pick up from Cobacabana beach, and sent me photographs of my driver and the car. The walk itself took around 30-40mins, and we arrived with plenty of time to see the sun rise. It’s an incredible view! There was 2 other small groups there, in total around 10 of us, so we had plenty of time to take all the photographs we wanted. Highly recommend.

Caio was amazing and his dog came along for hike. I ended up being the only person in this tour which was great!! The hike is NO joke. But, it was all worth it in the end to watch the sunrise and capture amazing pictures and videos.

Caio was very informative and a fun tour/hike and guide. Best picture suggestions. Good laughs. Great vibes. Would recommend to anyone wanting to go to do pedra do telegrafo. Even the little snack suggestion to hold us over for the car ride back to our hotel.
