    My time at the Christ

    Crystal_M, Jun 2026
It was a gorgeous day, amazing view all around, was crowded but worth it...a truly must do experience... only negative was that the escalators going back down we're broken

    Worth every cent! ...

    Greg_C, Jun 2026
Worth every cent! Traded the tickets in and went right to the front of the line. I asked how long the regular line was and they said about 45-1 hour. Save the time!

Christ the Redeemer Is Stunning, Yet Transportation Problems Overshadowed the Visit

    Johnny_C, May 2026
The view of Christ the Redeemer was absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth seeing at least once. The overall experience felt safe, and despite a fairly long line, the process moved faster than expected and I was able to get through quicker than many others. Unfortunately, there was a significant issue during my visit when the train experienced mechanical problems. This resulted in an approximately 2-hour delay, and because there were no alternative transportation options available to leave the site, everyone simply had to wait. While the situation was handled safely, communication from the staff was disappointing. At times, staff members seemed to ignore concerns and were unable to provide clear updates or answers about what was happening or when service would resume. What should have been a simple 2- to 3-hour visit turned into nearly 4 hours due to the train breakdown and waiting time. Despite the frustration, the breathtaking views and iconic experience of seeing Christ the Redeemer made the trip memorable. Future visitors should be prepared for possible delays and allow extra time in their schedule just in case transportation issues arise.

    10/10 recommend!

    Cole_J, May 2026
This was absolutely a life changing experience! We had intended on going early in the morning (7:30 am) to try and beat the crowds despite having the “skip the line” tickets, but one of our group members became ill late last night so we were unable to go until about 10:30 am. When we arrived the line was wrapped up an entire city block plus the entire tram station, we showed the ticket agent our pass and we were able to get on the next available tram. Without this pass we would have had to wait for at least 2-3 hours in the sun just to get on the tram. The staff was also very helpful and guided us where we needed to go!

    Good trip

    Mary_S, May 2026
Early morning was a good time to go. By the time we left (11:00) it was getting crowded. Not sure how much time the skip the line saved because it wasn’t full yet. If we’d gone mid morning it would have made a big difference. We were glad we had it and went straight to to front and were first in line for the tram up.

    Good, but not that much

    Jacqueline_D, May 2026
We couldn't skip all the lines. Just for get the ticket. After that we were in the regular line, waiting like everybody else.

    too many people, there...

    Shane_E, May 2026
too many people, there was no kind of crowd control. We had skip the line tickets, but that was only for going up, and does not apply to when you are coming down, which also has a line.

    Worth the money

    Chris_M, May 2026
Glad we paid to skip the line. There are essentially two line ups. The first was very long and we were allowed to bypass into the line the is on the train boarding platform. Got to skip on the way down as well.

Worth to skip the long queue

    Alex_H, Apr 2026
Skip the line Tickets is worth to save a lot of time instead queuig up in the heat. Easy to buy in advance.

Don’t pay extra for skip the line. There is no prioritization

    David_g, Apr 2026
Skip the line was a waste of time at no point were we prioritized for boarding. Only 2 trains running so wait times were long and the place was crowded

    Not worth it

    Alisa_R, Apr 2026
It was not worth the money. We only skipped one line and then had to wait in another big group line and had to wait two trains to get up. I asked multiple people and they said no wait here in line. They also don’t let you skip the line on the way down. Waste of money.

Don’t bother spending the money, not worth it

    Emily_M, Apr 2026
Definitely don’t think it’s necessary to get skip the line tickets. When we arrived we still had to line up to get the voucher exchanged for a ticket. It would make more sense if the tickets were automatically emailed to you. Don’t recommend purchasing this, save your money

    No skipping involved

    Peter_L, Apr 2026
These were pretty much worthless. You still wait in a line to redeem your voucher in the same place that everyone else waits to buy their tickets. And there is a self service booth that faster that you can’t use with these tickets. After you have tickets almost everyone got on the next train. At no point did anyone check our wristbands. Most importantly, they are not valid on the return ride just the ride up. Save you money and just get there early and buy your tickets there. This is seriously a nonproduct.

Be Prepared: Skipping the Line Applies Only One Way!

    April_L, Apr 2026
Skipping the line to get tickets and board the train was worth every penny paid. We were not prepared for standing in the long line necessary to return to the starting point. I expected that we would be skipping the line on both ends. I feared we would be late getting back to our ship.

    Waste of money...should...

    Erica_O, Apr 2026
Waste of money...should get a refund. Paid to skip the line and were lined up with all the others who did not pay for your services

    Rio with friends

    Juanita_C, Apr 2026
Excellent communication with the tour company customizing our tour before our trip. Our tour guide, Tiego was a great. He met us on time at the cruise port and took us to Christ the Redeemer where he stayed with us and directed us to the right locations and lines the entire time. He was also very informative on our tour of the city. We observed Sugar Loaf Mountain but didn't go up and also visited the Selaron Steps. Tiego took pictures for us which he later sent to me. He was very kind and attentive.

    Wonderful experience!

    Nina_H, Mar 2026
This is an absolutely fabulous tour, but you must get the skip the line tickets. Spectacular views, fun train ride up through the woods.

It is not worth to pay...

    Dunia_R, Mar 2026
It is not worth to pay for skip the line ! The only advantage is to get the tickets little faster other than that the rest of the process you must make the lines and try to catch the train like anyone else!

Luis - Exceptional Private Tour Professional

    Adrienne_B, Mar 2026
We had the absolute pleasure of spending a full day in Rio with Luis as our private tour guide, and we could not have been more pleased with the experience. Luis is exceptionally knowledgeable and clearly very well-educated on a wide range of subjects. His expertise in the Botanical Gardens was especially impressive — he shared fascinating insights about the plants, their origins, and their role in Brazil’s natural and cultural history. Throughout the day, Luis also provided rich historical context about Brazil, including meaningful and informative perspectives on Afro-Brazilian history. His storytelling made the city come alive and gave us a much deeper appreciation for Rio beyond its beautiful scenery. In addition to being an outstanding guide, Luis was extremely courteous, professional, and a very safe and attentive driver. He thoughtfully planned our route, ensured we were comfortable at all times, and truly guided us through the city in a way that felt seamless and personalized. This was one of the best private tour experiences we have ever had. We highly recommend Luis to anyone visiting Rio who wants a knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely kind guide.

    Christ the Redeemer

It was beautiful and perfect! Skip the line was the fastest way to go! We had the best time and the weather was perfect

    Very efficient and easily...

    Eleanor_U, Mar 2026
Very efficient and easily accessible. Had no issues getting the skip the line ticket at the kiosk. All the staff are really helpful.

    Easy and worth it!

    Anand_G, Mar 2026
Worked flawlessly. There is no tour guide but you just show this to the ticket counter and you get a ticket and a yellow band. You then get to skip the line on the way up and down. I WAS REALLY nervous this was not going to work. But it did and was very easy! Buy early as they run out! Also a tour guide is not needed as this jist for pictures and the view.

    A Great Day in Rio!!

    KURT_K, Mar 2026
Carlos is an encyclopedia of knowledge and adds so many insights to the tour. Born here his insights we're wonderful. We can't recomend a better guide, one of our best ever. If you want an excellant tour you won't regret hiring him. Also gave us great restaurant and other recomendations.

    Worth doing

    Alan_R, Mar 2026
Really good, skipped the line going up not available coming down. You have to approach one of the attendants as there is no signs for "skip the line". Would recommend it as it was busy and very hot.

    A Must Do

    Reut_H, Mar 2026
If the weather is good the views are incredible and the statue is quite impressive in person. The train ride up is scenic and cute, and def nicer than driving up the hill (we took a cab there and the driver misunderstood us and drive us halfway up the mountain instead of to the train station, so we got to do both hahah). There was no real “line” to skip so if I was to do it again I would just get the regular tickets and wouldn’t spend the extra money on the fast pass.

    A must...dont even think...

    Kuntal_G, Feb 2026
A must...dont even think about waiting in the line. Totally worth it. Go to the attraction directly. Little confusing details.

    Christ the redeemer

    Keith_T, Feb 2026
Always use the skip the line feature. It's worth the expense, unless you enjoy standing in line for three hours in extreme heat and humidity.

    Worth it

    Jessica_B, Feb 2026
Just buy skip the line, it’s so worth it. You can’t use it on the way back down but it was perfect, minimal wait time.

    This was not worth $91....

    Bria_J, Feb 2026
This was not worth $91. Yes you skip long lines at train station, but you still end up waiting for at least 20 min with everyone else for train. Also, this doesn’t include any other excursions. Too expensive for just Christo and not include Selaron Steps or Sugarloaf Mountain

Dont buy skip the line pass

    Joshua_S, Feb 2026
Dont by the skip the line pass you will pay extra for nothing. Nobody tells you where to go so you end up waiting with everyone else. When we asked someone upstair they said it was only to go up… Bad experience

    From $45.90
