This was an amazing experience. Our guide Fabianne was so sweet and took great care of us . Walking through the forest to get to the top was truly breathtaking, with amazing views, we saw so many animals along the way too. I would definitely recommend this place to visit if you are in Río de Janeiro.

Disappointing tour....

We were told the night before that our pickup time would be 6:30am which we confirmed. However, we ended up being picked up after 8AM. I guess the original guide got 'sick' and nothing was communicated to us until after we reached out with a message around 7:30. The eventual guide didn't speak english, and then by the time we went up to Telegraph Stone, he insisted that we just skip the line to the rock and take a pic off to the other side of the rock which is completely different in terms of views. I mean, the original reason for picking this tour is the main rock that everyone wanted to see, and all other tours waited in that line. So instead, I wasted over half a day and didn't end up with what i originally signed up for. Very disappointing. To make matters worse, the guide ended up going back the beach route instead of the normal way through the tunnels and that added an extra hour ride back to our hotels. With a limited amount of time in Rio, the entire tour was a waste of almost a full day. Do you yourself a favor and book with a different company if you want to see Telegraph Stone.

Wasted day

Wasted day. We waited for 45 mins we were picked up late for. The pick up van was trashy and not comfortable. We have a family of 4 with a toddler in a stroller. I’m not sure how did the tour guide allowed them to be part of the tour. This is a hiking tour and no way in the world the stroller or it’s safe to bring the baby. The guide shouldn’t have allow it. They tried to hike for 10 mins and gave up. We waisted our time waiting for the family to hike. The hike itself is good but I wouldn’t recommend doing the hike. After our hike we waited for 40 mins for the guide to call us a Uber to get back. Our whole day was wasted just waiting on unnecessary things.

Great but prepare for a full day

We booked the 7am, and an Uber was sent to pick us up. It was an hour drive to meet our guide. It's a tough hike, but it's well worth the trek for those breathtaking photos. Fabi was a great tour guide and patient with our beginner skills. My only gripe is that the experience is much longer than advertised. We missed another Viator excursion that was to start at 3pm and each lost the non-refundable $50. P.S. Beware of the gray haired man with a camera trying to monopolize the area and charge people for photos...
