This tour, I would definitely recommend if you want to see all the major parts of Rio our tour guide. Nicole was truly amazing and was also great with all the passengers, the girl can speak three languages from Portuguese to Spanish to English to French, it were translated and describe everything in every detail so that everyone could fall along with the tour and I would definitely recommend doing this tour for anyone who wants to see all the best parts of Rio in a day

Great tour that includes the most important sightseeing points. We did have some minor issues with the pickup since our names were not on the list. It is possible because we booked on January 1st for the next day but it got resolved in the end. The tour lasted longer than expected due to the big lines both at Sugarloaf and Christ Redeemer. The guide Nicole was very nice and provided some information about the sights we visited. Buffet lunch was great with big selection of food.

This tour takes much much longer than advertised

Viator advertises this as a 6-8 hour tour with pickup in Barra da Tijuca. However, I had to take an uber to another hotel in Barra da Tijuca. Even worse, the tour takes 11 hours, NOT 6-8 hours, and I would have missed my plane. The local tour operator was very nice and let me take a shorter express tour (Sugarloaf and Christ the Redeemer only). However, Viator should refund me for the lunch and other sites which I missed. The tour was nice enough, but Viator needs to provide accurate information about the tour length. The local tour operator gets a B+, but Viator gets an F, in my opinion.

My family enjoyed the tours. Our tour guide Caroline and Pepe Tour were excellent they went above and beyond. Our only issue was I was told we would be picked up from out Hilton Barra and that was not the case, we had to Uber an hour to Hilton Conan’s without any notice. It was not until I called Pepe Tours that I was told we had to commute to Copacabana. Omg the traffic was horrible, shower Pepe Tours waited for us. I’m so happy we saw Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer. I could have skipped the rest of the tour. The restaurant was the last stop, at 2pm, at this point we were starving, we the food was not great. No one in my family ate, we went to Burger King. To be fair my children are picky eaters. Overall very good tour.

Didn't show or communicate with us!

This was a horrible experience. I've done a lot of traveling and a lot of Viator trips and this was the worst ever. I booked the day before the trip, which is a bit late but Viator had it as available and several other operators for the same tour also had next day availability so it didn't seem strange. Next morning at the time I selected to be picked up (they offer several) there was no one there. I waited for 15 minutes and tried using the chat - no one responded. So I started poking around the site and found the name of the vendor and used their website to find their phone number to call. The guy was rather rude which I admit made me less than friendly either. He said they do not pick up at my hotel. That's odd since ya know, there's a drop down on the site for hotels and times and I picked the combo I wanted. Then he changes his mind to say it was because I booked too late and if I wanted he'd rebook be for the next day AT ANOTHER LOCATION. This set off all the red flags of this booking. First he changed his story for why they weren't there, then tries to make me swap somewhere else that is more convenient. Add in that if I hadn't searched around online to find their information no one was planning on reaching out to me at all and I was just done with all of them. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because they did provide a refund without issue when I refused his idea for me to taxi to somewhere else for them the next day. But overall DO NOT BOOK THIS

At first, there were some small problems, like they claimed i had entered wrong pickup location (what??), but then they asked us to buy cable car tickets. It is clearly stated these are INCLUDED, but on the spot they say it is not, pay or dont go. Otherwise, tour quality was passable.

The tour is fraud, we planned our last day to visit Rio and just like that he didn’t show up, hotel called them and they said we canceled today’s tour and we can take you tomorrow or call get the refund, so angry of whole situation

Der Anbieter bestellte uns zu einem anderen, weit entfernteren Abholpunkt, als wir buchten. Als wir dort ankamen, war niemand dort. Vorherige Kommunikation wurde nach der Buchung nicht mehr beantwortet. Der Ausflug fand nicht statt.
