Wow, what an amazing experience! The whole trip is definitely worth the $50. The boat ride was fantastic, the water was gorgeous, the sand was soft and white on the beach and our tour guide Juliana was amazing! I cannot stress enough that this was the best value money can buy in Rio!

We booked this day trip hoping we would see gorgeous beaches... But unfortunately, the company has forgotten our existence and has cancelled our tour without even informing us!! Avoid this travel company if you don't want to spend half of your morning waiting for them. It took one hour of non-stop calling to get a rude operator, and no explanation

This tour deserves zero stars. Horrible communication. I reached out to this vendor a few times the day before the tour to confirm the pickup time, but received no response. I even contacted Viator to assist me with reaching this vendor. I didn’t hear back until the next day, a few hours before the trip, with a last-minute ETA for pickup from my hotel. I requested to reschedule in the text due to the last-minute notification, but received no response again. A few hours passed, and someone showed up in my hotel lobby to pick me up. I was so disappointed in this company’s lack of communication and punctuality that I didn’t trust traveling to unknown areas with this tour company. I strongly advise against booking this tour.

The trip itself was great, if you love a bit of boating and the water scenery I would recommend this trip. But my main issues was the trip itself took far too long, I didn’t get back to my accommodation in I’ll 11 PM and I was collected almost 2 hours later than originally discussed, so a little confusing on that front. Also, whilst the guide was great and friendly, this tour isn’t English friendly as I was one of 3 people who spoke English out of 30/40 maybe, I did this solo and would strongly suggest having at least one other person with you for this.

We were given very little information about the issues throughout the trip and we only made it tone very packed beach for 40 minutes before having to go back., Most of the time was spent in the bus to and from Arrial. Our guide, while kind, did not seem to have any sort of contingency plan for issues that arose. I would not in good conscious recommend this to anyone

the guide arrived an hour late at the meeting point. exactly at 9, the meeting point was at 7:45. once we arrived at 2 pm, the guide made us get off the bus and divided the group into different taxis. our taxi took us to a different place from the rest of the group and left without giving us any directions. we were left with two other travel companions in an unknown place without knowing where to go and the guide continued not to answer calls and messages. at that point we asked the locals where the port was and we reached it on foot. once we arrived we discovered that the guide had left without us and without the other 4 people in the group. how can you abandon 6 people in the group without even calling them to find out where they ended up? not knowing what to do anymore we asked at the port if they could take us to the rest of the group, also because to return to Rio we had to take the same bus in the evening. they told us that the last boat was leaving in 5 minutes but that it was part of another experience so we had to pay and start a new tour, but they didn't have a return to Rio. after an initial moment of panic at the port they managed to help us and convince the boat to pick us up for free and take us to the rest of the group. we managed to reach our boat at 3:30 pm and then the rest of the tour went well, but this whole situation didn't make our experience at all relaxing and ruined more than half of the tour we paid for, as well as putting us in danger. the only positive side is that luckily there were 6 of us left on land and not just the 2 of us. I advise the guides to be more professional and punctual, to call in case of getting lost and above all to carefully check all the group's movements, especially when they split up in taxis.

Our tour guide was very kind and ensured we were safe at all times. We booked an English tours however, 95% of the tour was in Portuguese or Spanish. The tour itself was alright - this is of course my opinion, I’m sure others would enjoy it. We stopped at 2 beaches and drove around a couple islands - it was quite crowded. The boat ride had loud party music, and for an additional price grilled food and drinks. If you’re the first one to be picked up, prepare to be in the bus for 4-5hours before getting onto the boat. Lunch was buffet style and was served at around 4pm, come prepared with some snacks. Overall it was a sunny day, and the tour was alright. Our guide was kind, and tried her best to rally the crowd.

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would! Trip was confirmed - I waited more than 2 hours but was never picked up or contacted; I reached out to company thru Viator app and directly but never received a response; Viator finally contacted me to say the guide company decided to cancel the trip but gave no notice; this was planned for my last day in Rio so I missed out on this experience - I could have gone with a different company had I been given notice; at the very least, if the tour company was going to cancel, they should have attempted to get me on a different group's tour. Beyond disappointed with this company and with Viator for not helping to rectify the problem (refunding my money was not enough). Do NOT book this tour!!

Unique and fun trip

Very good trip, but some surprises! Be sure to contact the provider directly using WhatsApp! It begins with a 3hr bus trip. Then a R$25 taxi ride to the port. From there it is a boat ride for a total of 5 hrs. There is a swim stop and then beach accesses. Beautiful scenery and great places for pics and videos. Motorized lifeboats are used to access the beaches. You stay at each beach for about 30 to 45 min. “Lunch” is served at the very end of the boat trip at a local restaurant. Make sure you take water, snacks and extra money. It was safe and fun. The crew is very helpful. Finally a 3hr bus trip back to your pickup location.

Description says max 15 people, our boat had about 45 people on it. It was our entire full capacity tour bus, plus some people already on our boat, i don’t know where they came from. I am English speaking only and would not recommend this tour. It’s a 3 hour bus ride to Arraial from Rio, 3 hours back. Then the 6ish hour boat portion. The tour guide on the bus spoke English, but the actual boat tour guide did not. The boat tour guide could speak English, but did not speak English for any portion of the tour. She approached us individually about purchasing her photography services and spoke in English. Then went back into the speaker and continued only in Portuguese and maybe Spanish. Therefore it was impossible to know how long we were staying at each stop, or how long until the next stop. This made it difficult to purchase food or drinks, because we could stop at anytime. Lunch is actually dinner at 6pm in Arraial after you get off the boat. It was a buffet but they did not replenish the food so some items were empty.

A must do experience when in Brazil!

We couldn’t do the boat tour because of the wind. We were not told so in advance and no payback was offered. Instead we had to spend additional money on taxis and buggys managed by the company’s friends to visit the island.

They offer a Service and then they don’t provide it, and they don’t refund you, and they charge you uninformed extras.

Primero, cobran 15 reales más por persona que jamás avisan hasta el momento. (Es decir, no incluye los 10 reales de entrada que están avisados y luego 15 más de un taxi que no está pautado en ningun lado) La guía solo aparece en el momento de tomar el ómnibus. Quienes merecen el reconocimiento mayor son la tripulación del barco, ellos sí hacen que merezca la pena. El almuerzo es en un lugar con apenas luz y sin ventilación y las bebidas NO ESTÁN INCLUIDAS , ni siquiera el agua. Gracias a los 15 reales extras por persona que nos cobraron sin previo aviso, no teníamos dinero y no pudimos tomar agua desde las 8 am que nos buscaron hasta las 21 pm que llegamos. No te ofrecen agua (solo si pagas) en 13 horas de excursión. La organización tampoco es buena, parece todo hecho en el momento y al haber varios turnos de personas en un mismo grupo, se hace eterno. Me llamó la atención tantas reseñas positivas. Conclusión: LLEVEN BASTANTE DINERO DE SOBRA Y AGUA Y NO VAYAN CON ALTAS EXPECTATIVAS.

En la web ponía que la salida era a las 7:00, así que fuimos a nuestro lugar de recogida puntuales. Para asegurarnos de que era la hora/sitio correcto mándamos un WhatsApp a la agencia (no habían contactado con nosotras en ningún momento para confirmar nada) y nos dijeron que la hora era las 8:00. Obviamente al tener que recoger a gente en varios puntos es imposible recoger a todos a las 7:00, pero sabiendo eso no está de más enviar un WhatsApp confirmando la hora exacta segun la ruta de recogida, para evitar esperar 1 h. Sugerencia: una vez establecida la ruta de puntos de recogida notificar por mensaje a cada cliente el horario de paso aproximado por su punto de recogida. Por todo lo demás muy bien, la guía simpática y la ruta preciosa.
