Randomly trying one or two Czech wines while in Prague won’t give you a clear picture of the country’s wine offering. This small-group tour combines guided tastings of a selection of wines with a Prague Old Town walking tour—so you can find your way around both later on. Stroll the Old Town to see its landmarks and architecture, and visit a ‘vinoteka’ wine bar for your tastings with snacks.

What a great evening with our guide Emma! My husband I was lucky to have met her and spent 2 1/2 hours seeing such incredible hidden treasures, beautiful art and tasting some great Czechia wine! The sights, wine and conversation was such a highlight we won’t forget, and created a wonderful memory for us. I could hang out with Emma every night! She is fantastic! Highly recommend this tour and company to use during your time in Prague.

What a great evening with our guide Emma! My husband I was lucky to have met her and spent 2 1/2 hours seeing such incredible hidden treasures, beautiful art and tasting some great Czechia wine! The sights, wine and conversation was such a highlight we won’t forget, and created a wonderful memory for us. I could hang out with Emma every night! She is fantastic! Highly recommend this tour and company to use during your time in Prague.

Short walking tour of the Old Town - just a few historical highlights and some interesting info - not in depth. Then wine tasting - 3 or 4 full glasses of wine - more of a social drink than tasting - don’t expect huge discussion on technical wine details just some interesting info about Czech wines. This was perfect for us. Our guide Margit was fantastic - clear, concise and knowledgeable - just the right amount of info. She was great fun and a good companion at the wine bar.

This was a phenomenal tour. Our guide, Merit, was excellent! We learned a lot about the history of Prague and saw some of the best highlights, and then had some excellent wines accompanied by some snacks. The wines were also phenomenal. I was traveling solo and got paired w another group of four girls, and so the small group of us girls was so much fun! Highly recommend!

Rose was a delight! She was very informative and enthusiastic during the walking tour and was very knowledgeable about the wines we sampled. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her on this tour.

Emma was very entertaining and provided great information about Prague and some of the areas we walked. For a wine tasting/tour it would have been wonderful to stop in different wine bars to learn more about the various wine. The walking tour part was a long walk to get to the wine bar. But, that said, Emma did a wonderful job keeping everyone engaged and was a fantastic guide.

The guide was friendly and there was plenty of wine. However there wasn’t much information given and we didn’t see very much… we never saw the old town square at all. There was only cheese at the food tasting and no information on any of the wines.

George pointed out some interesting things, we probably would not have noticed them if he hadn’t pointed them out. The wine tasting was really good, as were our tour companions.

We where a hen party of 8 women and it was a very pleasant tour.
The tour guide was very friendly and chatty, she pointed out thing to us in a small part of the city that we had not noticed before and gave us an informative talk about each one.
We then arrived at a very lovely wine bar where we all drank very tasty wine and talked to the other guests on the tour ( there was 4 on top of our group) . It was also very lovely that the tour guide joined in with us.

This is a positive review however, this is not a wine tasting experience. We feel this should be called 'A Walking Tour of the Art in Prague' then includes free wine at the end.
We were greeted by a lovely lady who took us on an interesting walk. We saw fascinating sculptures which we would have missed on our own, Mozarts house and a beautiful church. She gave us lots of facts about Prague and we had a glimpse of the new town (we were primarily staying in the old town). It was like having a walk with a friend which we loved. She was lovely, welcoming and informative.
We then took to a wine bar but it was very much, we had three glasses of wine but it was just having a drink in a bar. For wine tasting, I was expecting some facts about the wines, bottles to view etc. But all wines were on tap and we were talking more about the history of Prague.

We had such a great time on this tour. Our tour guide was very informative & knowledgeable & made the experience so much fun. The wine tasting at the end of the walking tour was also a great experience. The selection of wines were delicious and we enjoyed the cheese! Really recommend this experience if you want to learn more about Prague whilst having lots of fun!

We booked both the bike tour and the wine tasting tour with Praagtours. We were lucky enough to get a tour with Lois for both tours. She is Dutch who speaks nearly perfect English.
We really enjoyed the bike tour. Then after having lunch at a place she recommended, we reconvened for our walking, wine tasting tour. We did not duplicate any of the ground covered during the biking tour. We saw the upside down horse, the famous square and other sites.
The wine tasting was at a cute, hidden wine bar with wines on tap. She described each wine after finding out what wines we preferred. The cheese and meat platter was more than we could finish. We really enjoyed her company and love to support local, small businesses.

Dennis was an excellent tour guide with great local knowledge. The tour starts at the yellow bike and you go on about an hours tour of the local area and end up in the wine bar . There you are treated to a selection of Czech wines with Dennis and at the end of the event , around 2.5 hours Dennis leaves and you can either stay on or do your own thing. Very good experience, but be aware it is only the single wine bar you visit- which is enough!!

I would highly recommend this tour. Nikki the guide was outstanding, her knowledge of the area was second to none and we saw things that on our own we never would have found.
She definitely went above and beyond, recommending other places for us to visit while we were there and made my friend and I feel really comfortable.
The wine bars that we went to were off the beaten track and were warm and friendly. As a red wine drinker, I really enjoyed the whites that we tasted and took her advice that local Czech reds are not that great, something I realised tasting them in other places.
This was the highlight of our trip, the pace was just right and we enjoyed every moment.
